I think we will all be very surprised as to who will or will not be in heaven. ASFA Mother Teresa, I admired her very much. There is a movie that has been out even before she died titled "The Letters".
The story follows Sister Teresa’s early consecrated life as a teacher in a school run by the Loreto Sisters. While she is first and foremost a teacher, it is through the poor outside the windows of the convent that God calls her.
"The film, directed by and based on a script written by William Riead, borrows heavily from the letters contained in the book. The film tells us that Mother Teresa wanted the letters destroyed after her death because she feared that they would “make people think more of me and less of Jesus.” We can be thankful that they were not destroyed. “Surely God loves the poor as much as he loves privileged girls,” Sister Teresa explains to the mother general of the desires growing in her heart.
The film relays the story of Mother Teresa’s being released from her vows to the Sisters of Loreto and her founding of the Missionaries of Charity...It tells the story of her work in the slums of Calcutta."
She lived among them and simply LOVED and CARED for them through the eye's of Jesus.
I am not Catholic, but neither do I believe all Catholics are hell-bound! My wonderful late Grandma was a very devout Catholic and, I cannot tell you a single time I did not witness her exhibiting the Fruit of the Spirit. Mother Teresa was a very humble and lonely soul who had an extreme hunger for God and His work. She also lived with such a darkness inside her that she at times felt abandoned by God. The movie is very enlightening.
