The movements of God:
Had in it next the great revivalists. They moved the church into what we see as next move of God.
The Holiness move of God - brought living and lifestyle, as well as devine healing back to the church. Understand these things are written in the word of God, but get lost as men interpret for themselves what it is God is doing. The first thing men will do with a move of God is try to organize it, build some kind of altar out of it.
Out of the Holiness move of God, the things of the Spirit were coming back to the forefront of the minds of the people of God. The gifts and miracles. Religion fought every move of God all the way, and it still does. Men not accepting what it is God is doing at the time.
That led to another great move of God that was called 'the latter rain' movement. Many of those men and women were still alive when many of us came along, and they witnessed to us 'the latter rain.' God is always moving his people on into what we can see today as ''His intent and purpose." His plan and purpose before the foundation of the world, Ephesians 1:4. The original intent of God. The truth of God prevails.
