Clever word, Bibliolatry, but essentially meaningless.

Why would anyone throw away God's word? It isn't anyone's God, but it is the words of God, not garbage.

The bible had become my idol. Something that came between me and my relationship with its Author. Like someone said, one worships the creation and not the Creator Who spoke it into existence.

Therefore I don't worship the things created NOR the words which brought them into existence. I only worship the CREATOR.
