This post is such a fine example for Poe’s law!ScaliaFan said:People protest about all kinds of things.. protest a gorilla being killed to save a child -- yet refuse to protest children being murdered in abortion "clinics"
people stand up for animals.. but children butchered in the womb aren't worthy of their time. .
liberals complain about how there are so many lives lost in war.. OH, we gotta be careful not to have ONE casualty when bombing ISIS.. but ISIS couldn't care less and so we make little progress in stopping them, which means they kill even more people than if we weren't so irrationally concerned about casualties.. Hello, war is ugly. I know that is a harsh reality to remind u of, but hey... face reality already
and these same liberals who cry about OH how awful that people are getting killed in war!!!!!!!!!!! are the same ones who push for the mutilation of the unborn
you see the ASPCA ad on TV... longest commercial ad shown on TV!! It shows animals suffering But if a pro life person wants to show babies suffering by being burned alive by saline abortion.. You can't even make an ad like that.. apparently it is against the law or something..
strange world....
Yea... Their tax philosophy. Tax the rich more than the poor and give it to the poor (taking a cut for yourself). Totally unbiblical and sovialist in nature.River Jordan said:They are? Can you be more specific, as in naming a specific policy item they advocate that falls under the category of communism?
So any sort of public assistance and anything other than a flat tax = communism?FHII said:Yea... Their tax philosophy. Tax the rich more than the poor and give it to the poor (taking a cut for yourself). Totally unbiblical and sovialist in nature.
Wrlfare.
Unemployment.
Yes i support them too and so do repubs. But only out of fear. They are both concepts in the bible, but heavily abused by soceity.
that is so absurdjunobet said:This post is such a fine example for Poe’s law!
However, whether you are serious or not:
it is indeed astonishing how some people can have so much respect for life that’s still in the womb whilst having total disregard for life once it’s out of the womb. And that they either lack the abstract thinking to realize that the ‘collateral damage’ of the wars they cheer on may well also include pregnant women and their fetusses, or think it’s just American fetusses that count.

Ok then....
In your first example you are confusing giving with taxes, which is very sad to see.junobet said:So you think that Jesus was a socialist or communist when He said that the poor widow who only gave “two small copper coins” to the temple treasury “has dropped in more than all of them, because all the others contributed to the offering out of their surplus, but she, in her poverty, dropped in everything she had to live on.”? (Luke 21:1-4).
And you think it’s ok that a cleaning woman pays a higher percentage of her income in taxes than giant companies like Amazon or Ikea, who can afford the world’s cunniest accountants, do?
You said taxing the rich more than the poor, welfare, and unemployment were all communist. What else could I conclude?FHII said:Thats not what i said
I said they were socialist in nature and that happens to br true. You could also read the whole post. Then you could correctly conclude that I am for such programs but thay I also feel that they are abused.River Jordan said:You said taxing the rich more than the poor, welfare, and unemployment were all communist. What else could I conclude?
Then you didn't answer the question I asked. I specifically asked what policy the Democrats support is communism.FHII said:I said they were socialist in nature
Oh the irony. You could also read the whole post.
So you're fine with socialist policies, as long as they aren't abused? Then you could correctly conclude that I am for such programs but thay I also feel that they are abused.
Seriously, what's your point?River Jordan said:Then you didn't answer the question I asked. I specifically asked what policy the Democrats support is communism.
Oh the irony.
So you're fine with socialist policies, as long as they aren't abused?
Just trying to figure out what you're on about.FHII said:Seriously, what's your point?
In a general sense, sure. But again I didn't ask about socialism, I asked about communism.Taxing the rich more than the poor is socialist in nature. Do you disagree?
So it's irrelevant to the question I actually asked. It's not communist because no one owns anything nor has money of their own.
Honestly, not at all. You claimed the democratic party was "about communism". I'm still trying to figure out just what you think they support qualifies as communism.Welfare is both socialist and communist in nature. Unemployment is socialist in nature... Not necessarily in nature. You don't get fired from your job, comrade. You get reassigned to a processing plant in Siberia.
Are you understanding what I'm saying?
Well, if that's the best you can do..... <_<I am less for welfare because as far as I understand it, its people not even looking for a job. I suppose if you live in an economically challenged area it may be needed. But there is another option: move to a place where there are jobs! Otherwise, if you are able to work but refuse to work, much less try to find work, you are a parasite. And i resent my taxes going to people that refuse to even try to find work.
Hey... After that explanation, if you still disagree with me.... Sorry. Can't explain it any clearer.
No. That's not what i said. This is a very big problem on this board.... Partial quotations.River Jordan said:Honestly, not at all. You claimed the democratic party was "about communism". I'm still trying to figure out just what you think they support qualifies as communism.
Thats right. But that is not what you said i said.River Jordan said:This is exactly what you said: "Well, let me break it down for you. The democratic party is about communism and socialism."
Are you? I said communism AND AND AND socialism. I demonstrated and proved the point. You just wanted to ask about the democrats link to communism.River Jordan said:??????????????????????????
You said "The democratic party is about communism and socialism". Then I say that you claimed the democratic party was about communism and you respond "that's not what I said"?
Dude......seriously? Are you ok?
Right, you said democrats are about A and B, and I asked how they are about B. Since then you've done everything but actually answer the question.FHII said:Are you? I said communism AND AND AND socialism. I demonstrated and proved the point. You just wanted to ask about the democrats link to communism.
What in the world are you talking about? I've never said anything at all like any of that. All I did was ask you what the democratic party supports qualifies as communism. But I will reluctantly play at you level if you wish.... So wby do you hate capitalism? Whats wrong with a woman working hard and enjoying ALL the fruits of her labor? Why should she give a portion of her income to a drug addict who refuses to work?
