It did not perturb bible prophesy one little bit.
Israel has to be there to get invaded, and etc. So it fulfills prophesy. It does not fulfill prophesy about how God will bring them back after they repent and wipe out their enemies etc.
Strawman argument. It is not that 'either God has brought them back, or it is all a fluke'. He knew they would be here. When He brings them back it is after He comes and they repent.
No. They are unbelievers and a secular state. A remnant will be saved, and that will be 'all Israel' that is left alive basically. That was not in 1948. Jesus is not ruling from Jerusalem now if you notice.
Also on the grounds that when God wipes out all their enemies it will be no secret and no one will be able to deny it! When they repent we will also know it. When He rules we will also know it. Etc. 1948 was not even remotely close.
Chapter and verse?
So let's see the evidence, chapter and verse that GOD gathers them for the trib?
Chap 2 has only 10 verses, try again.
Ezekiel 33:28
For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.
Nothing to do with some gathering before the Great Tribulation.
Earlier in this chapter we see who it is talking to..
And it came to pass in the
twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.
That was not 1948!
Nothing in there about the end time, sorry. This commentary for example
Verses 1-31
Ezekiel 22:1-31 God Reveals to Ezekiel the Bloody City of Jerusalem - The leaders of God’s children (prophets, priests, princes in this passage of Scripture) are held in heavy responsibility for not fulfilling their offices.

Once again, a misapplication.
Ezekiel 36:24
For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Ezekiel 36:25
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
When HE takes them out of nations to that land they are clean! That was not 1948 by any stretch of the imagination.
Ezekiel 37:12
Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God ; Behold, O my people, I will
open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and
bring you into the land of Israel.
Ezekiel 37:13
And ye shall know that I am the Lord , when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
Ezekiel 37:14
And
shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord .
That is not 1948! It is after they repent and He makes them clean and then brings them to the land.
Isaiah 11:10
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Jesus is the Root of Jesse. That was not 1948.
Zephaniah 2:3
Seek ye the Lord , all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord 's anger.
1948 was not the day of His anger. Nor did Israel seek Jesus.
No. He talks to the enemies of Israel about how they will invade. Prophesy does acknowldge that a nation will exist in the end, yes of course. God only brings them there after that, when they face all that time of Jacob's trouble and the remnant repent at last. That was sure not 1948!
Yes and it says nothing at all about God bringing them back till after that time.
As this commentary explains, this is basically God begging them to repent before all these things happen. They won't. They only do late in the very end.
"Verse
Zephaniah 2:1.
Gather yourselves — Others,
sift yourselves.
Separate the chaff from the wheat, before the judgments of God fall upon you.
O nation not desired - unlovely, not delighted in; hated because of your sin. The Israelites are addressed."
