A sacrament is an outward efficacious sign instituted by Christ to give grace. Jesus Christ himself is the sacrament, as he gave his life to save mankind. His humanity is the outward sign or the instrument of his Divinity. It is through his humanity that the life of the Trinity comes to us as grace through the sacraments. False. Israel (whether God brought them back there or not) has to be there to be able to be invaded, eventually repent, etc. If God had brought them back, their enemies would be long gone and wiped out now. They really would be in peace, have repented, etc etc. God is not done with Israel, and they have a glorious future. He is no more done with them than He is with Christians.

Even in the Eighties when I was reborn, that was really what convinced me. The geopolitical world, in particular as regards Israel, was just like what the Bible anticipated. And all the more so now.

Is your thinking though that the rebirth of the state of Israel in 1948 is not the prophesied regathering to the promised land? If so, I agree on that completely. That happens when Jesus returns.

Ezekiel laid on one side for 390 days, the other side 40 days, for a total of 430 days, a day for a year for the sins of Israel and Judah. 430 years of punishment, but God sent them into captivity for 70 years, and brought them back.

They did not return in faithfulness. Only a relatively small number came back, and they didn't build Ezekiel's temple.

Leviticus includes a 7 times over punishment, that if God does something, exiles them, and they don't return to faithfulness, then He will do it 7 times overs.

430 years, minus 70 years for time served in Babylon, makes 360 years remaining. 7 times 360 according to Leviticus is 2520 years. The calender of the time was 360 days, so we need to convert those years to our years, 2520 x 360 = 907,200. And 907,200 / 365.25 = 2483.77, or, round to 2484.

2484 - 1948 = 536
