Hi Denver,I own a Christian forum powered by vBulletin as well. My forum is occasionally attacked my picture(porn) spammers. They register as a group and flood the board with bad pictures. So I suggested Jelsoft to come up with something that could tackle this problem.Suggestion:Limit specific bbcodes: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209737Allow/block images form this member: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=245239If you have time and you think the suggestions are good, just go through them and please reply there. Picture spamming comes as a surprise and it's really difficult to clean the board once the damage is done.I need your help on this one. It'll do all Christian vBulletin forums some good.

Jeff,We've dealt with this same problem and I suspect it may end up being some of the very same people. In our case, we have implemented a hand system where we can check up on all new registrations and we have to manually approve them.It does get a bit tedious and delays posting for some people, but I think most understand why this is done the way that it is. It has all but shut down this influx of sick spammers with the exception of the occasional nut that gets in one way or another. I'll make a post, but they're probably not going to give either one of those since there are the mods out there. The second one has a better chance, though.

Manually approving members is very tedious. I've just found a modification which can detect spam words and put them into moderation automatically. I might install that.
