The children of God are them who are saved, yes?Why does anti-osas HAVE to mean salvation is earned by works?
Justification is secured by believing and trusting in Christ's completed but ongoing ministry in heaven. If you stop believing, his ministry is no longer interceding for you before the Father. You are lost. And if you resist God's efforts to get you to reconsider you will be turned over to that unbelief and God will never allow you to come back. So it has nothing to do with you not doing works to earn salvation. It has everything to do with whether or not you're going to keep believing. Thus the repeated exhortations in scripture to keep believing.
Remember this concerning the children of God:
Ephesians 2
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
The children of God were created in Christ Jesus. If you know what that means….
