Jerusalem Junkie;45091]According to this there is no Second Coming and its a bit confusing to say the least especially since if you look at it none of these have been fulfilled.
Hi Yerushalim Junkie [aka Two] said:? When you know and understand the answer to this' date=' the rest may begin to fall into place for you. IMO: The answer to this question is paramount unto you at this time. There is a great amount of depth to discuss this in full. And it would require much more time that I have available to do so. In some cases, it is merely a matter of understanding. For we are all at different places upon the path.Jerusalem Junkie' said:I have found through research that the Christian Bible does not contain the Messanic Prophecies why? This again, is perhaps merely a matter of how one percieves it.Ezekiel 47:12 Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing.”Pick your 'flavour' [aka translation], this can not happen without the hand of YHVH upon it. Nor shall it happen by the hands of men.Jerusalem Junkie]Why do we believe there will be a Second Coming?
I am sure you have heard of and are aware of the great and terrible day of YHVH?
Why did G-d take his only Son to die on the cross before he could fulfill his prophecy?
I will get back to this later in discussion. For your understanding of certain things will affect the outcome of how one percieves this.
I did a word search of "Second Coming" in my Bible program and only one verse and Chapter came up and it had nothing to do with Jesus return so where do we get "Second Coming" from and what is the foundation for the term?
Perhaps you would be so kind as to provide the reference. The "Second Coming" per se said:JESUS DID NOT FULFILL THE MESSIANIC PROPHECIES What is the Messiah supposed to accomplish? The Bible says that he will:A. Build the Third Temple (Ezekiel 37:26-28).Jerusalem Junkie]B. Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel (Isaiah 43:5-6).
Isaiah 43:9 All the nations gather together and the peoples assemble. Which of them foretold this and proclaimed to us the former things? Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right said:nations.Jerusalem Junkie]C. Usher in an era of world peace said:In context: All nations will come here. However, can we have "world peace". Consider the great and dreadful day of YHVH. Further: Jeremiah 23:17 They keep saying to those who despise me, ‘The LORD says: You will have peace.’ And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say, ‘No harm will come to you.’ 18 But which of them has stood in the council of the LORD to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word? 19 See, the storm of the LORD will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. 20 The anger of the LORD will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly.Jerusalem Junkie]D. Spread universal knowledge of the God of Israel said:Do you really ever see that happening this side of the great and dreadful day of YHVH? Can we unite without aletheia [truth]? Can we unite in spirit without aletheia?Jerusalem Junkie]The historical fact is that Jesus fulfilled none of these messianic prophecies.
Again said:no mashiakh within the TaNaKh. However, let us first discuss some of the questions I have introduced before we get into this.Jerusalem Junkie]Christians counter that Jesus will fulfill these in the Second Coming said:Yet, most of the those sources do not account for the great and dreadful day of YHVH, nor do they account for the resurrection. It is clear from Ezekiel 47 alone that without the hand of YHVH, it can not come to pass.In His love,Richard
