Noahs flood NOT worldwide ???

There were eight people in the Ark.
The idea of one giant landmass in history is known as Pangaea.
Yours is a fascinating proposal. That Pangaea's separation led to mass water displacement and as such the flood.

Is there anything in the Old Testament that suggests that?
The Bible indicates that "the great deep broke up," which I read to say that cracks formed everywhere, and this catastrophic land-mass displacement drove the water all over the surface of the land. See Genesis 8:2.

A world map will show that the coasts of Australia, South America, North America fit the corresponding coasts of Europe.

We noticed this in grammar school.
