There are believers carnal and spiritual (1 Corinthians 3:1-3, Romans 7:14-Romans 8:16)

I suspected you would bring these verses into the discussion. You are student of the scriptures. Very well done.

The carnal people whom Paul was addressing in 1 Corinthians 3:1 did not have Christ formed in them yet like the Galatians who wanted to get circumcised and keep the law (Galatians 4:19). They were not born again (John 3:3). Hence, they were not true believers. They still had the carnal mind that was in enmity against God (Romans 8:7) and were bringing forth the works of the flesh (1 Corinthians 3:3; Galatians 5:19).

No; because he refers to the carnal as being "babes in Christ".

he refers to the carnal as being "babes in Christ".

The purpose of the letter to these “babes in Christ” (not Christ in them) was to get them converted to the faith in truth. They were not perfected in the faith (Ephesians 4:12) and were unstable and not settled and liable to not realizing redemption in the end (Colossians 1:21-23). And don’t forget that they (as children in the faith, not men) were also susceptible to being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine as well (Ephesians 4:14).

Anyone care to give their opinion of osas?

It's a false teaching so prevalent nowadays among the Laodicea Chruch. It's leading many to hell because they don't see the need to forsake all of their sins. Why do you think that roughly 70% of men in the Church are addicted to pornography? False doctrine has produced this rotten fruit.

Belief in a false Messiah is a sin just as much as pornography or any other work of the flesh. One is either born from above by the Spirit or still dead in their sins of the flesh.

Romans 8
[12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
[13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
[14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

who is the Messiah ?

Jesus of Nazareth.

why are you refusing to testify to who Jesus is ?

Jesus of Nazareth is the Savior of the World.

Is He now God Incarnate ?

There are 3 members of the Godhead, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus of Nazareth was God the Son in the flesh and is now sitting at the right hand of power.

So He is no longer a man with a human body ?

Jesus was tempted as we according to Heb 4:15 but he still had the advantage over us.

Tempted is a funny word that can apply to both parties

1) Being Tempted, can mean, person "A" makes you an Offer.

2) Being Tempted, can mean person "B" is considering the Offer.

Several times in the OT God was Tempted....example 1)

God finally told men...knock it off, Thou shalt Not Temp the LORD your God.

In the NT, Jesus was Tempted....example 1)

Satan made an Offering...
Jesus "never considered" Satan's Offer.

^ That is the lesson.Further by Example Jesus showed How to reject a TEMTER.

Considering a wrong Temptation, is falling into Temptation.

The Lords Spirit within us is the Power we have to KEEP us from falling into Temptation.

God Bless,

Disagree...about OSAS.

* Can't say what 70% of men do.
* Don't believe Being in a Church building, means a person is Saved.
* Don't believe men knows man's heart.

Salvation is about the soul.
I have never see another man's soul.

Quickening (Born again) is about a man's spirit.
I have never seen another man's spirit.

The Body, yep have seen Body's.
*They are Spiritually Dead, when they are naturally born.
* They are Spiritually Dead, when CRUCIFIED with Christ.
* I have seen Living Body's, I have seen Physically Dead Body's ...
* I have no clue...if they ARE Still Spiritually Dead From natural birth or Spiritually Dead Crucified with Christ.

•• You are focused on the Flesh...it's already Spiritually Dead.••

Their soul absolutely "can be" Already Saved.
Their Spirit absolutely "can be" Already Quickened.

* How you know what men do...or know of such a man, that is a Converted man's opportunity to teach about their behavior....

* Their soul and spirit will go to Heaven... and they will be known AND called...

Matt 5:
[19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these Least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus Christ is a Man and is come in human flesh (1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7).

Jesus, the Son of man, came in the FLESH.
Never is His Flesh call HUMAN Flesh.

Human Flesh IS Corrupt.

Jesus' Flesh Body...was in the LIKENESS as a Human Man...

Rather THAN What?

Rather than a different KIND of Flesh.
Animals have A KIND of Flesh.
Jesus could have come in THAT KIND of Flesh...but would have served no purpose.

Jesus came in the LIKENESS as man-KIND of Flesh TO teach men...not animals.

*Jesus' Flesh Body, had Nothing to do with a humans procreative abilities (sperm & ovum).
(John 1:
[13] Which were born , not of blood nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

* God Prepared A Body for His Word.
(Heb 10:5)
...a Body thou hast prepared me...

* Gods Word took that Preparded body upon himself.
(Phil 2:7)
...took upon him the form (of a servant)
...in the likeness of men:
(Phil 2:8)
...AS a man... (Not IS a HUMAN Flesh man)

* God Called that prepared Body upon His Word...JESUS.
(Phil 2)
[9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Jesus is a man, that came in Flesh in the "Likeness" as a human man.

Men are humans who come to God to be made in Gods "Likeness."

God did not become Human.
Humans do not become God.

Glory to God,
God Never Changes.
But men can Change and become Like God.

OSAS-

ON the flip side....Are Not saved...
They ARE NOT saved.

Are Saved...
They ARE Saved.

The controversy / disagreement is over...
For How Long is a person Saved.

One says Forever.
Another says, it can't be Forever....
Based on Scripture saying a person Can Lose their Salvation.

I say, based on Scripture...Once a person "receives" Salvation it is Forever.

Key word..."Receives."

Another says..."you can ONLY Lose Salvation AFTER you HAVE received it....Because Logical mindful thinking, tells us...you can not Lose Something, if you do not have it to Begins with".

However...regarding both Logically Mindfully Thinking AND Spiritually Heartfully Thinking...
That is False.

Mindful Thinking-
An offering to win a car is open to All.
A man enters a contest to win a Car.
His contestant entry is drawn.
Has he won the Car?
The rules say the man has to claim "his" prize.
So to answer the question, is the Car "His", Yes.
So there is a deadline on Dec 10, to claim "his" Car.
ON Dec 12, the man goes to the correct place to Claim "his" Car.
Does "he" Receive "his" Car?
No.
He missed the deadline for "Receiving" "his" car.
So did "he" lose "his" car.
Yes.

It's the same scenario per Scripture.
The Lord Offers Salvation to All men.
It is Already allocated To All men.
Any man that misses the Deadline To Claim "his" Salvation, is Denied Receiving "his" Salvation.
He HAS Lost "his" Salvation.
Physical Death IS every individuals Deadline!
Physical Dead Body's can Claim Nothing.

ARE Saved...ARE Saved Because they heartfully Accepted The Lords Offering.
They "RECEIVED" (the prize) the Gift of The Lords Salvation.

The Claiming...comes by way of The claimant...Confessing Belief...
From his Minds Logical Thoughts... oops no...
From his Hearts true thoughts...YES.

The claimant knows where his thoughts come from....And God knows where a man's thoughts come from....Period.
All bystanders..."guess".

From the Heart...the man Receives Salvation.
From the Mind...the man is Denied Salvation.

Against OSAS, argues, a man Can RECEIVE Salvation and then (as one poster said), throw that gift back in Gods face.

Impossible....for man.
While all Thing Are possible with God.
All things are not possible for a man without God.

Accepting the Gift of Salvation...is ONLY by the Hearts conviction.
Any man who Heartfully CONFESSED...is the Receiver of Salvation....

Even he can not Return the Gift.
Why not?
Because Immediately after receiving Salvation of his SOUL, his HEART is Spiritually circumcised, and the Natural spirit within his Heart, is REBORN, with Gods Seed.

The old spirit that Confessed Belief IS Dead, cut off....the man can not revive his old dead natural spirit TO UNDO his original choice!

OSAS Yes.
Receiving multiple times the Gift of Salvation? No. One either Receives it Once, or he Forfeits Receiving the Gift...after physical Death...Forefited Forever.

Glory to God,
Taken

Not really. You confirm your faith and meet the requirements of the law in love:

Romans 13:8-10 KJV
[8] Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. [9] For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [10] Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

“ Love God and live as you please”
Love God and you will live a life that pleases Him.....your Will will Line- up with HIS Will....God has known this all along.....That is why the First and Greatest Commandment is to “Love God with all of your heart...... “

Agreed. Its why we must die to self daily-deny self/ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.

And Paul in other places talks about the deeds of the flesh, crucifying the flesh etc....
Aren't we already crucified? To sin, to our flesh, to the law, to the world?

Much love!
