If what people tell me is true, then ForYou aka "Duke" has left the faith. I dont know him personally but I remember several of his posts. Perhaps he is just having a low point in his walk with the Lord but then again- maybe he decided to leave it all together due to the teachings of men. Please pray for our friend. Come back Duke!

You know I will pray for him. I don't know him personally either, but embracing atheism is still embracing men's words if you look at it that way...

Well I do know him personally and I hate to say it but this isn't very surprising. I am definately praying for him!!
Interestingly enough it was some of "ForYou"'s posts that drew me into the board. They drew me in because they were questions that sounded like they were coming from shaky ground. Some of the questions sounded like they were coming from a heart that was wrestling over God's Word... and the world's word. I'm pretty sure he is young, and hopefully there is ample time for him to become a great defender of the faith.

*sigh* From hearing it from you. I get the feeling he's not going to change... he's going to be a full-fledge atheist...Let's hope (which probably it is in vain) it is not the case... I'll still pray for him though.

We can't give up on hope. I won't give up on hope and I won't give up on Duke. I know God can change him.
Yea, let me grab a piece a notebook and a pen(cil) and write down who and what they need...it's probably why I don't pray much and lack of hope... And you're right, we shouldn't give up hope.
I feel the same way followerofchrist. I know Duke too and won't give up on him. I have been praying for him.
