God's covenant with Abraham still stands.
The covenant with Israel does not. There is a new covenant and you have to be a Christian to take part in it.

God's covenant with Abraham still stands.
And that's true. He simply removed the ten northern tribes to among the Gentiles, where The Gospel would go after the majority of Jews in holy land rejected Jesus. And thus the western Christian nations where they migrated to would fulfill God's prophecy to Jacob that his seed would become "a company of nations", and that Ephraim's seed would become "a multitude of nations".Current covenant nation! The New covenant was made to israel.
God foretold of His dispersing and then regathering His chosen people (Israel) in the end times.
God made this an eternal covenant- that means forever!
Ez. 37-39 show Israel is still Gods people.
Jer. 31:31-34 still show Israel is Gods covenant people.
Ez. 20:33-38 shows Israel is still gods covenant people.
Zech. 13:8-9 shows Israel is still Gods covenant people
Matt. 23: 37-38 shows I srael is still gods covenant people!
Romans 11:1-5 show that Israel is still Gods covenant people.
Romans 11:11-15 Show that Israel is still Gods covenant people
Romans 11:25-31 shows that Israel is still Gods covenant people
Rev. 12 shows that Israel is still Gods covenant people.
There are many more. These are just the ones off the top of my head that show God has not forsaken His covenants and promises to Israel.
Yet you speak like one who has never heard of how Jesus qualified the OT scriptures. In fact, you interpret as one who dismisses Jesus altogether particularly when it comes to understanding OT prophecies through the lens of Jesus..God did come down from heaven, in the form of Jesus. Most of His Prophesies are plainly set out in the Book of Revelation.
Believe them, or remain in the dark. 1 Thess 5:1-11
What does shock me, is the sheer ignorance of most Christians, of what God has planned for His people in the end times.I am aware that this might shock you.
You explain very well the truths of who and where the two Houses of Israel and Judah are today. And the majority of the "house of Judah" which later went captive to Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar, only a very small remnant of those Jews actually returned to Jerusalem. The majority of them were scattered further through the countries like the ten northern tribes had been about 120 years prior.
I'm confident you would not be able to support your OT interpretations by NT writings....particularly the perspective of Jesus. The New Testament confirms, supports and verifies the Prophesies of the Old Testament.
Genesis 17The covenant with Israel does not. There is a new covenant and you have to be a Christian to take part in it.
Genesis 17
[7] And I [God] will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
God's covenant with Abraham still stands. The Old Covenant, i.e., the Law, was given to Moses on Mt. Sinai. The New Covenant, i.e., Grace, was given by Jesus.
John 1
[17] For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Men want revenge and so expect and assume that God also wants and exercises revenge on his 'enemies' but that is not how God operates. Jesus showed us that God does not reflect evil back, he absorbs it....and it kills him.Psalms 144:5-8 Lord: Part the heavens, come down and touch the mountains, so they pour forth smoke. Send Your lightning flashes far and wide and speed Your arrows to their mark.
Reach out Your hand from on high and rescue me from the mighty turmoil. Save me from the power of enemies, whose every word is worthless and every oath is false.
The Lord will ‘part the heavens’, that is: the sky, our atmosphere and magnetosphere as prophesied in Revelation 6:14, Isaiah 34:4. This is what a massive CME will do when it strikes the earth. The microwave effect of its shortwave spectrum will penetrate the earth’s crust, causing severe earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Deuteronomy 32:22, Amos 8:8, Nahum 1:5
‘every word false’, The Islamic code of Al Takkya encourages them to use deception when dealing with ‘infidels’.
Psalms 145:14-21 In all His promises, the Lord keeps faith, He is unchanging in all His works. The Lord supports all who struggle in life, all those who lift their eyes to You in hope, He will feed and satisfy them in the time of His favour. The Lord is near to all who call to Him in sincerity, He fulfils the desires of those who fear Him, He hears their cry for help and saves them. The Lord watches over all who love Him, but the wicked, He will utterly destroy.
Psalms 147:1-6 How good it is to praise our God! He rebuilds Jerusalem and gathers in the scattered Israelites. It is He who heals the broken spirited and binds up their wounds. He knows all His people and calls them by name. Mighty is our God and great is His power and wisdom. He gives support to the humble and brings evildoers down.
‘people’ in verse 4 is translated ‘stars’, but from the context and as we see in Daniel 12:3, the Lord’s holy people are ‘like stars’. Zechariah 9:16
The Lord promises to save His people, ‘all who call to him in sincerity’. Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21 Then to ‘gather them in a rebuilt and regenerated Land’, where He will ’feed them and satisfy all their needs’. The godless peoples and those who go to attack Israel, ‘He will utterly destroy’.
Psalms 147:12-20 Jerusalem: Sing to the Lord, Zion: praise your God, for He has made your Land and cities whole again and blessed your inhabitants. He brings peace to the Holy Land and food in plenty. He commands the rain and snow to fall in their due seasons. To Jacob, He has revealed His Word: His statutes and decrees to [faithful] Israelites. He has not done that for the other nations.
Ref: REB,NIV. Some verses abridged.
The true God fearing Christian Israelites, that is: natural descendants and those grafted in, people from every tribe, race, nation and language, will at last live in peace and prosperity in all of that area promised to the Patriarchs, will then fulfill what God had originally planned for them, that is to be His witnesses and a ‘light to the nations’, spreading the good news of the coming Kingdom of Jesus. Isaiah 49:6, Isaiah 66:19, Revelation 14:1-7
In #27, I posted the plain Words of scripture. I then showed how those plain Words could be literally fulfilled.Interpreting the OT scriptures like a Christ denying Rabbi sets one on the wrong track
No, the everlasting covenant with Abraham transferred to Issac and then to Jacob (Israel). Something everlasting does not end.The covenant between God and Abraham is not the same covenant between God and Israel. That covenant is gone and has been replaced by a new one.
No, the everlasting covenant with Abraham transferred to Issac and then to Jacob (Israel). Something everlasting does not end.
Like I said Keraz, you interpret the OT like a Christ denying Rabbi.....and further, you do not underpin your interpretations with NT ie, with and from the perspective of Jesus......so you stay stuck with a view the OT writers had of a violent God who resolves matters by force. In other words, a God who violates or punishes people who exercise their God given right of choice if and when they choose against God.In #27, I posted the plain Words of scripture. I then showed how those plain Words could be literally fulfilled.
You; it seems - prefer to ignore plain statements and make Bible Prophecy of no use or consequence.
Not sensible or helpful for understanding what God really does plan to do.
No; and I resent your accusing me of such a belief.if a politician said, vote for me and I'll give you your hearts desire but vote against me and I will punish you, that sort of person would be despicable in most peoples eyes. Do we attribute to God the same attitude as this politician?
....and the Jews thought that the role of the Messiah was to whip the tail of the Romans and when he didn't follow that line they resented him for it.....he just didn't fit into the picture they had so studiously developed in spite of him fulfilling their other criterial signs as to what the Messiah would do and how to identify him.No; and I resent your accusing me of such a belief.
You are a prime example of someone who thinks the easy times will never end. But they will, as any good periods have in the past.
As for the Prophesies I quote from the OT, of the Lord coming in fire: Hebrews 12:29 Our God is a devouring fire.
Wait for the Day..........: Zephaniah 5:8
