Look at post #12 in the thread. He seemed to be disagreeing with TribSigns when TribSigns said "Nope" to this idea of someone knowing when the rapture will occur. He responded by saying "Yep" as if he disagreed, but maybe that wasn't his intention and he was actually agreeing with him.

That’s what I thought too when I was asked why. My apologies if I had the wrong impression about Truth7t7.

Are you going to publicly repent with Ronald for promoting this circus? Talk about gullible!
We are not promoting anything. We are not the authors of the videos. We are just offering commentary on them. Are you mad at the various platforms which host the content as well? You can report the video if you think it is dangerous, or violates your belief system.
To report a YouTube video as inappropriate or dangerous, first ensure you are logged into your YouTube account. Navigate to the video you wish to report. On a desktop, click the three dots (•••) located below the video, next to the view count and title. On mobile, tap the three dots icon in the bottom-right corner of the video when in full-screen view. Select "Report" from the menu that appears. Choose the most relevant reason for your report, such as "Harmful or dangerous acts," "Violent or repulsive content," "Hateful or abusive content," "Misinformation," "Child abuse," "Promotes terrorism," or "Spam or misleading". You may be prompted to provide additional details, including timestamps or descriptions of the violation, which can help the review team. Submit your report, which is anonymous and reviewed by YouTube moderators 24/7. If the video violates community guidelines, it may be removed; otherwise, it will remain on the platform.
Good grief. Look at this nonsense. People losing hope in Christ's return just because of their ludicrous beliefs that blatantly contradict scripture which teaches that no one knows the day or hour and that Jesus will come unexpectedly like a thief in the night. Pathetic.
Are you worried about it? I'm not.

The latest from the livestream is that they're taking a break to sleep until about 6:35 AM Jerusalem time when they say the last Trumpet is blowing. They are from various time zones, so will need to set alarms for various times.

I can't say anything would happen at the last trump in Jerusalem, but I'll probably just go to sleep at my regularly scheduled time. If I wake up to the Trumpet call of God, that's fine too. I'm flexible.

One thing I am impressed with is that this Joshua is hanging in there. He's not running away. He's sticking to his guns. So it might be more fun tomorrow with the livestream, and hearing what the people have to say then.

A thing I find curious is how all the Amils and Preterists are drawn to this topic. When I see topics like these:

I wouldn't give a care about the topics of these threads, and I would never trouble them.

It almost looks like the Amils and Preterists are unsure of their doctrines, and are looking for validation, or confirmation of some kind. I'm more concerned with WHEN the second coming will occur, than exactly what happens when it does. We will find out pretty fast when That Day comes.

Jesus told that rich man to sell everything he had and give it to the poor a d follow him. Would it be so terrible?

But the real question is, do you UNDERSTAND what Christ told the young rich man? Why he need to sell everything he own to the poor and follow him. Who is the poor that Christ is talking about here?

But I guess for those who value life on the scale of monetary possessions - how terrible they will feel.

I still am sitting in my house. I did cash in some silver yesterday just in case He took my wife and left me behind! Lol

Why lol? Just like the young rich man, you don't understand what Christ wants from you.

I will explain a bible lesson about this subject if anyone is interested:

The cross is a symbol of Christ's sacrifice, and the words "Take up your Cross" is a phrase denoting our personal sacrifice for the cause of Christ. For we don't just take on Christ's name as if that is the sum total of being a Christian, we live an entirely different life than we did before we had Christ in us. This phrase is Christ telling us to give up the pleasures and desires of this world to make the ultimate form of self-denial. using our bodies that His will and purpose be done on earth. It is something that can only be done in the faith and Spirit of Christ.

Mark 8:34-36
  • "And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
  • For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
  • For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
Sadly, in this world of "Me, Me," self denial is something that is sore lacking in Christianity today. For example, everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to sacrifice their own prosperous lives, standards and position in order to do so. They want all of the benefits, and none of the labor. But we are commanded not only to take up our cross, but to follow Christ (John 12:26). In other words, our service to Him is to reign in this worldly body, crucify the flesh, that it be a Holy vessel taking His message to the world that hates us. In this way the cross is always a ensign, the token of the sacrifice of Christ in us. Because to be sure, taking up your cross means you are identifying yourself with the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, that we carry on in His footsteps the gospel. Sacrifice is all about letting go of the fleshly or carnal things of this world that control and enslave us, for the Spiritual things that God would have us do. That is the whole point Christ is saying. It's about sacrificing this temporal house, for a house not built with hands. It's about saying no to sin, when everyone else is saying yes. It's about witnessing to the truth when the truth is not popular. About fearing God rather than man. This is all examples of our personal sacrifice. And let's face it, not many professing Christians are willing to do these things because this sort brings reviling, trials and tribulations. It sets people against us, and it pretty much places us on the proverbial island. The love of the things of this world, respect, job, traditions, friends, possessions, church, money or even family, are so desirable and difficult to give up for Christ, that most people cannot bring themselves to this sacrifice. Nevertheless, this sacrifice is required of God's children, even that young rich ruler. They must lay aside all else and put God first in their lives. And this cannot be without personal sacrifice. Because the world is at enmity with Him, it will be at enmity with you.

Matthew 10:35-38
  • "For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
  • And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
  • He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
  • And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
Regardless of what it is that keeps us from the work of Christ, we must sacrifice it on the altar of service. Yes, friends, family and the world will revile and persecute you if you stand up for Christ, but to this end we have been called. For worldly profits and accolades are temporal, but the blessings of God are eternal. He comforts of family, friends, possessions and money are all temporal. They are secondary in our lives, as Christ must be placed first, before all things. This illustration of the cross denoting this sacrifice is vividly illustrated by Christ in Mark chapter 10. There Jesus is listening to a rich young ruler that claims to have kept the commandments and is now asking Christ what he must do to inherit eternal life. What he lacked was sacrifice, taking up his cross and laying his life down for Christ:

Mark 10:20-22

  • "And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
  • Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
  • And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions."
Sacrifice your love of worldly treasures, and God will give you the treasures of heaven. But this man wanted heaven, but not enough to sacrifice this world. You see the point here is NOT that this man was rich or had money, but that he loved his money so much that he was unwilling to give it up (sacrifice it) for the cause of Christ. Selah! He loved his possessions more than he loved Christ. For selfish worldly people, their friends, possessions, money and position are often the measure of their success in life. That includes worldly people calling themselves Christian. That's why a lot of times when someone loses a job, a nice house, their money, or go bankrupt, they commit suicide. Because these things were the sum total of their lives and identity, so that without them, they feel like nothing. They have their eyes on themselves and not on Christ. But if we hold anything more important than spiritual things, we do deceive ourselves about true treasure. To take up your cross "means" you are willing to go through the reviling, the tribulation, the persecution and hatred for the cause of Christ so that you can help bring the gospel truth to those who are poor in spirit! Selah! In denial of this world, we are choosing God's will instead of our own will. So that not only do we deny self, but we die to self, and live for Christ. Taking up our cross means that being crucified with Him, we were raised up in Him, and we will be the workmanship of God identified with His sacrifice, death and word, regardless of what it costs us publicly, socially, personally or financially! Taking up the cross puts Christ first and everything else secondary so that the Gospel can be reached to the lost.

Amen?

But, your reasoning for doing that is ridiculous and is not the reasoning that Jesus had in mind for doing that. Also, I hope you are only joking about being left behind. If not, are you truly not sure if you are saved or not? If so, you should be spending time figuring that out and working out your salvation with fear and trembling (Phil 2:12) instead of spending time following these ridiculous date setting theories.

You obviously think what is in the videos might be true or else you wouldn't be sharing it. So, you are promoting it just by sharing it. The reality is that it doesn't deserve to be talked about with any credibility whatsoever. It's a clown show.

Are you worried about it? I'm not.

How can you be impressed with someone who has just made something up in his imagination and is making himself look foolish?

He's sticking to his guns. So it might be more fun tomorrow with the livestream, and hearing what the people have to say then.

To make light of how ridiculous it is, of course. We hate to see gullible people fooled by this nonsense.

LOL! You are a comedian. Do we come across as if we're unsure of our doctrines and need validation? I'm sure we do not.

So, you didn't know he is an amil? It wouldn't really make sense for any amil to believe in this date setting nonsense since it's pretty much exclusively a pre-trib thing. Anyway, it was just a misunderstanding and isn't a big deal.

1 Kings 18, Elijah versus the false prophets

Elijah’s Mount Carmel Victory

20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. 22 Then Elijah said to the people, “I alone am left a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. 23 Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it. 24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.”

So all the people answered and said, [e]“It is well spoken.”

25 Now Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one bull for yourselves and prepare it first, for you are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it.

26 So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, [f]hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they [g]leaped about the altar which they had made.

27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry [h]aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with [i]knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them. 29 And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.

It only goes to tomorrow. 6 AM or noon. It's not the "last day" of the week, but the last day of the Feast of Trumpets.
Well, I stand corrected....

But either way....I never believe in any date setting.

Like I said before, you cannot make a prediction under the Mosaic law that Jesus did away with. I'd rather see a prediction around Christmas, at least if it's wrong, everyone gets a present.

Well the date has to be right, or it can't be set. I'm unsure of the timing. The people in the livestream might be off on the timing for Feast of Trumpets. That deal where the new day doesn't begin at midnight. They should be using the Bible times. Night before light. And the evening and the morning were the fist day.

It should have been Monday night/Tuesday day, then Tuesday night/ Wednesday day, for the last day. It might be Wednesday until sundown in Jerusalem.

That means I can go to sleep and sleep in tomorrow.

I'm sad for several reasons. Many sincere Christians are going to be hurt, dissilusioned, and perhaps give up their faith in Christ. Others may not give up their faith, but may lose hope in the second coming. Outside of Christ, many will use this as an excuse for mockery, and confirm in their minds that religion is a hoax, vain, and a waste of breath. All this of course suits Satan's agenda nicely.
The truth is that Jesus is coming, and is coming soon. We don't know the exact day, but we can certainly know the approximate season. There are numerous prophetic legitimate signs that the end is close. That the final acts in the great drama of human history are playing out in our time. We are privileged to be living in these last days.
But with all the present hullabaloo going on, please, let us not forget who we are. Let us not mock and deride as the heathen do. Let us hold fast to our love and be charitable, gentle, and kind to everyone, especially those who are hurting, and perhaps embarrassed, and even ashamed. Mockery, derision, gloating, are not Christian virtues. Such attitudes can destroy faith forever, and you may be held accountable for some who may never find hope again.
