Is anybody really upset with this report? If you didn't hear it from me, it was all over the airwaves. I just reported it and shared it, brought bits to your attention and then it exploded! I did not confirm it at any time and also claimed it went contrary to my Mid -Trib views that I've held for years! Do a search, put my name and topic, "7th Trumpet", "last trumpet", "rapture" and you can verify it.
Take the post as you would an article in a newspaper - it's a story and I didn't add to it, just reported as it was also circulated throughout the world. I put the disclaimer on my post stating I was not sure and skeptical. A reporter who even interviews someone who later turns out to be a false prophet is not necessarily required to issue a public apology, but is ethically obligated to report the new information and correct the record. An apology may be warranted if the reporter's own errors or negligence contributed to the false information being presented. The post was a question about someone else's prediction. And this is not a prestigious forum section (eschatology) that is held in highest standards of interpretation! We typically read and argue in disagreement over a dozen views passionately held. Ya'll gonna apologize to eachother in the end after the real event happens to be opposite to what you touted for decades??? And btw, this is a loose forum filled with layman, not professors or clergy. I have haven't come across any scholars in here. Scholars, preachers and teachers don't really have the time to chat because they are actually doing something, serving, not just idly talking and sharing. Does anyone feel like they are participating in saving souls in this forum? Ya'll think you're evangelists or teachers? I don't. I didn't tell people to go "sell everything and wait for the Hale-Bop Comet, your ship is right behind it and will be picking you up"! I did not confirm this prediction - show me where I did.

That was a very pleasant and considerate post. I would agree with everything on it up to the last sentence. You see, I can't stay away from JW's, half of my family is filled with them and I am btw an adherent to OSAS.

I'll spring board off this post and just reiterate that we are to be alert and sober for His return. I drew attention to this prediction like a reporter would, just reporting news. If you didn't hear it from me, it went viral worldwide as we approached Rosh Hashana, mostly YouTube. This also created more AI generated predictions as well. So whether this was a false prophecy or not, "God causes all things . to work for good for those who love the Lord, for those who are called to His purpose"! That's right, He is sovereign and allows all events in history for a purpose, good or evil.
What good came out of this? Put that aside and let me ask another question: What can Christians learn from Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur?
Three books are opened in heaven on Rosh Hashanah , one for the completely wicked, one for the completely righteous and one for those in between.
What follows the trumpet blasts (if not associated with the Rapture) are the 10 days of awe.
The Ten Days of Repentance are seen as an opportunity for change. A change of heart, a spiritual reboot. No one is perfectly righteous or even 100% evil. Rosh Hashanah functions, for the majority of people, as the opening of an unsual trial that extends until Yom Kippur. Most trials concern past deeds but this one _ in the past _ reflected on future deeds. For the Jews, their verdict ( a legalistic one) was determined. Both their attitude toward their misdeeds and their attempts to rectify them by changing themselves. Then comes the Day Of Atonement, Judgment Day!
>> For Christians and all others, this is an opportune time to turn to Jesus, strengthen your relationship and for all others, repent.
When God opens the books, the verdict won't be based on your deeds or attitudes at all, they will be based on your relationship with Christ. That's it, are you in Christ or not?
During this time in history a line is being drawn down the middle. You must choose, are you with Christ or not? When He returns, He will take His Church, all others will be left behind.
Most events in the Bible have been centered around Jerusalem and the end time scenario is no diffierent. According to Romans 11, during this time, a remnant Jewish population will be saved, whether before or during the Great Tribulation. Many of them will realize who their Messiah truly is and has been. They will mourn when they find out. They will be tested and have to persevere through the fire as well as anyone else (those who were left behind who were on the fence about Christ).
Yom Kippur is approaching. Christians aren't required to observe these holy days that were set apart by God for the Jews. But we can learn from them, repent, reflect on our relationship with Christ, be charitable towards others, forgiving them. Attitude still is important. I remember Chuck Swindoll had a teaching, "Attitude is Everything". Our attitude towards Christ first and then others is very crucial! If you say you love Jesus and hate your brother, I don't really think you have a good attitude.

To keep things in perspective….condemn the sin not the sinner.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are more or less a Jewish religion and as such does not have the option for salvation.
Calvinism….I have Calvinist friends and I have seen that religion do some awful things. Either way Calvinism, OSAS, and universalism can lead people to hell.

Im happy you are still here on earth.

:) All these rushes to get out of this planet just aint working is it?

Many cults, that killed their own people had to have a little help in the whole aspect of going to sleep (becoming dead) forever... here on this planet.

You gotta wait on the reaper, dont fear the reaper. (song)

In other words....you continue to justify yourself and condemn anyone who asked you to mark this false prophet. No one said they hate you...that's just a lie your pride regurgitated because it was pricked. If you don't want to humble yourself and admit you were acting more than a simple "reporter" reporting a crime it's ok. Just don't going around slamming those that asked you to repent. You were pushing this guy's garbage in multiple threads. Why should you be surprised when people ask you to disavow it? By the way, I don't hate you.

You are not recognizing what happens when Christ returns is worldwide destruction of all the wicked and unbelieving, why do you say it is just local to Jerusalem?
Jerusalem and Judea. Why? Because Jesus was talking about Jerusalem and Judea, the whole time:

Matthew's version:
When you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination of desolation,’a spoken of by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Mark's version:
So when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go back inside to retrieve anything from his house. And let no one in the field return for his cloak.

Luke's more direct version:
"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you will know that her desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country stay out of the city. For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written."

There is nothing about the tribulation to be all over the planet or similar. It simply is not in the text.

People have been trying to predict the end from the very beginning.
Absolutely.

No harm, even the Apostles believed they were living in the last days. Since they got it wrong...
But they didn't get it wrong. As the writer of Hebrews said, "Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days He has spoken to us by his Son, Whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world" (Hebrews 1:1-2) He's writing in the present tense there... "these last days." What the Apostles may not ~ may not; we cannot know ~ have truly understood was that the end of the last days would not come in the generation in which they were living. But we don't really know, because nowhere do they expound of the subject. We can speculate on what they thought or didn't think about this or that, but we can't put words in their mouths, as that would be adding to Scripture, which we are explicitly forbidden to do. At any rate, above all this, I think we are all agreeing that God is the real Author of Scripture... actually the Holy Spirit ~ as the Bible is His Word.

We may be...
We are. God's Word says what it says... and means what it means. "...In these last days..." That cannot be explained or rationalized away. It cannot.

...we are not in the biblical last days.
We are. See above. "...these last days."

The first church was in the last days and even in the last hour, biblically.
I would agree with this statement, although... Hmmm, "first church..." Are you not talking about the seven churches Jesus addresses in the first four chapters of Revelation? I assume so... The churches are not woodenly sequential. All churches in... well, in these last days... experience one or more of the pitfalls that the churches addressed in that day through the entire span of these last days. So what Jesus says to all seven of the churches in Revelation 1 through 4 are applicable to all of us in... these last days.

Grace and peace to you, HealthyShape.

Interesting moniker...

Yall never get off this earth except through death....

Im telling ya.

But wait Jesus said anyone who believes in him will never die!

Not true every person on this planet has died since the apostles did.

So there must be some other form of addressing those words rather than literal. Oh that is right Jesus spoke Spirit and Life.... so.

I am not sure what you are getting at.... Nothing in the New Testament says that people in 2025 will be in "the last days". It is said only about the first church, the generation living in the time of Christ. Even the mission of the John the Baptist was that the judgement is coming upon that generation, Jesus said it too.

Nope it doesnt. In Acts 2, Peter reveals that they were in the last days promised by Joel. Those people in that day in age, were the ones whom were gonna experience the destruction which even Jesus said would never be so great again.

But apparently a great event to some people is Hitler killing the Jews, or something... like that has anything to do with the content or context at all.

The great and dreadful event, was the destorying on the Jewish world, which was to come to an end of an age... Jesus said Ill be with you til the end of the age.... That age was the Mosaic age, with the preisthoods and sacrifices and etc...

All of that stuff is gone, never will come back, and that is just the reality.

Do you think this is for you? Are you alive or dead? If Jesus came now, how did you fly up to the clouds to meet the Lord?

And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up

"Then" means after you dead as the dead in Christ will rise first, you will be caught up together with them after you dead.
Not you still alive and caught up together with them.but after you dead

Reading comprehension is almost zero.

The rapture at the second coming is described as the dead in Christ rising first, then we who remain alive in the flesh rise after they rise.
We both rise, just that they rise up before we rise up. Only believers rise up to be with Christ.

The unbelieving are also resurrected, but not to be with Christ.

Incorrect (osas to hell) needs to be Corrected!:

God's Eternal Salvation (aka osas) Does Not "lead people to hell" =

God's OPERATION On All HIS New-born babes In CHRIST
+ Update
God's Eternal Assurance
God's Eternal Life Insurance

Rather, Because Of God's ALL-Sufficient BLOOD, God's Grace, Peace, Mercy, and LOVE

"Leads people To Heaven!" = God's Guarantee!!

and God's Great GRACE Departure is still Imminent ( could happen "At Any Moment!")

So, will see all True Grace believers In God's Great GloryLand! hlo

Amen.

You got people promised to be taken out of the wrath of God when it comes. Says it in the bible. Talking to a specific group, and when we die we resurrect.... we are judged.

Or judged and resurrected at the end of the last breathe we take.

We aren't gonna see Jesus coming through the clouds.
We dont even live in Jerusalem.

Agreed. The context about the great tribulation was the final judgement of Jerusalem and of Judea. It was not related to the WW2 or other events somewhere else.

But they didn't get it wrong.

1st Peter 4:7
The end of all things is at hand; therefore be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.
1st John 2:18-19
Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.
James 5:8
You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
1st Corinthians 7:29-31
This is what I mean, brothers: the appointed time has grown very short. From now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none, and those who mourn as though they were not mourning, and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing, and those who buy as though they had no goods, and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For the present form of this world is passing away.
Matthew 16:28
Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
Matthew 23:36
Truly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
Matthew 24:34
Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
Mark 9:1
And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power.”
Luke 21:32
Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place.
Hebrews 1:1-2
God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
1st Corinthians 7:27
Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife.
Philippians 4:5
Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.
Hebrews 1:1-2
God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
1st Peter 1:18-20
knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you…
Revelation 1:1-3
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Revelation 3:11
I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
Revelation 22:10-12
“Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.” “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.
Revelation 22:20
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

What they say "in the last day" may be what we mean "when my time comes".

The last day before I die......
When my time come I die........

Maybe we got it all wrong.
"...in these last days..." soberxp. There will certainly be a "Last Day," and it will be the day in which Jesus returns, synoymous with "the day of Christ," when all will be brought to completion. And that will happen after "these last days" are concluded.

You got people promised to be taken out of the wrath of God when it comes.
No, they ~ we ~ are promised that He will be with us through all trial and tribulation ~ "...though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you are with me... surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life..." (Psalm 23) ~ and that the wicked will be sent away (Matthew 7:21-23, Matthew 25:41-46; Revelation 20:15) at the end, and they will experience the wrath of God in the form of His eternal judgment.

We aren't gonna see Jesus coming through the clouds.
If we're still alive, we will... every eye will see Him... <smile>

Grace and peace to you both.

I just consider you a liar. So. You can say what you like, share what you want, but to believe you is just silly, in my opinion. Its not a salvation issue that I can assure.

Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.

You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
1st Corinthians 7:29-31

From now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none, and those who mourn as though they were not mourning, and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing, and those who buy as though they had no goods, and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For the present form of this world is passing away.
Matthew 16:28

knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

This all shows that the people of that day were waiting for him to come... it has nothing to do with us today... as many people espouse. The only people looking for Jesus was those who were faithful, the unbelievers would see the destruction, even having time to repent but cursing God instead.

If you believe you gonna see Jesus coming through the clouds. I hope you are living in Jerusalem at the time. And you escape that wrath that is suppose to come upon Israel.
