Personally, what is your MAIN reason for fighting sin and staying steadfast in your faith? To please God?To Get into Heaven? To Avoid Hell?To remain righteous?Or combination of all these things?Should we repent for all these reasons equally or more than others??

My reason is because I love God and do not want to disappoint him. We are his adopted children and he loves us very deeply. It pains God when we sin and hurt ourselves and others. On the other hand he delights in us and rejoices when we do good.Blessings,Dunamite

I repent for my sins because I know how God wants me to live and if and when I stray from that I know I need to ask forgiveness
