In the FLESH, Israel was ONCE upon a time the chosen, aka The KoG on earth.
That time of them being chosen, came to an end, when Jesus said this:
Mat. 21[43] Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

We see that fulfillment in 1 Peter 2[9] But ye [Chritians] are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
[10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Concernning the first appearance of Jesus, the book of Daniel was written for the nation of Israel, just as the book of Revelation is written for the church, and His future Glorious return.

Unfortunately, many today want to combine the two, and/or make one the extension of the other.

Can the Son of God be trodden under foot even today? As far as the outer court given to the gentiles and they trodden the sanctuary and the host under foot ... Daniel 8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

I’ve understood (or thought) that means His people. Matthew 5:13-14 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. [14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. — “and the holy city shall they tread under foot...”

The outer court given to the gentiles ...have to consider “until the fullness of the gentiles come in.”

How can He tread the winepress alone and His city and host be given to be trodden under foot(as Him) and Paul’s saying let us go out forth and bear His reproach for we have no continuing city but seek one to come? Could the winepress be “the circumcision made without hands, in the putting off the body of sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ” Buried with him in baptism, wherein you are risen with him...” then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. The winepress both death and “risen with Him”. The circumcision made without hands in the putting off the body of sins not evil, nor the His sanctuary and host given to be trodden until it is cleansed by Him who said “I did it alone”. Hebrews 12:9-10 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? How does this apply to the outer court? I am leaning towards the idea these are the ones who will be "the Harvest?"....
Here is what I know I have heard Him speak....the time of Restoration is now...God is restoring His Apostles and Prophets along with the other ministries He established in the first place.
The great Awakening is taking place now as is the great apostasy.
He is stirring up the gifts and callings of those He has chosen to help with the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Those who have diligently sought out His Will, Truth, Wisdom and Knowledge and found His hidden wisdom will be the ones who are separated unto Him and who He places in His Church....to raise up disciples.. for the perfecting of the saints.
The Antichrist will reign immediately after Trump is out of office...Harvest Time begins.
These are what I have heard Him speak.
Things that have to happen which were prophesied to correlate with this time frame is the temple, the destruction of Damascus and the attack against Israel....
So this is why I was asking about the significance of the outer court being left unmeasured....are these the Harvest?

Why is that important to this Revelation Scripture? It's because the same timing is given two ways, one in days per a solar day reckoning, and the other in months per a lunar night reckoning. So there's a hint who those Gentiles represent, i.e., Satan's host, Christ's enemies.

The next big clue there in Rev.11 is the appearance of God's two witnesses there to prophesy against the beast there, for 1260 days, and are then killed by the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit (Rev.11:7-8). And Rev.11:8 tells us where all that will take place, i.e., in Jerusalem on earth.

The Daniel event of the future sanctuary being cleansed is for when our Lord Jesus returns, and He builds the Millennial temple. Haven't you read this...

Zech 6:12-13
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

That symbolic name, "The BRANCH", is a symbolic name for our Lord Jesus (see Isaiah 11). Some try to say that above Scripture was about the scribe of that time, but no scribe is to sit upon a throne and rule while also being a priest upon his throne. That doesn't even apply to anyone of the house of David that's been on a throne so far. It only applies to our Lord Jesus who is both King and High Priest.

So is that temple He will build when He returns a spiritual temple or a literal physical temple? (for that timing after His return is given there, because at His return is when He will sit upon His earthly throne, the throne of His father David given Him - see Matthew 25). Also, that Millennial sanctuary is given in the Ezekiel 40 thru 47 Chapters, specific dimensions and layout, including God's River of the waters of life flowing out from the sanctuary on earth, with the tree of life on either side of that River (see Ezekiel 47). It's given location is written there also, showing it will be on the earth, in the holy land.

I'm sorry, this is not taught in most Christian Churches today when it should be. I'm not Jewish, I'm a Protestant Christian, raised in a mainstream Protestant denomination (they don't cover all this from the OT either).

The above is important to know so as to answer your question. That sanctuary being cleansed idea from the Book of Daniel isn't about any temple on earth being literally cleansed. It's about the idea of a spiritual cleansing instead. The latter day prophecies for the end shows there will be another physical temple built in Jerusalem by the Jews for the end. That one is not cleansed at Christ's return, it is destroyed. The Millennial temple Jesus will bring down to this earth when He comes, which is the sense of Zech.6:12 of Him building the temple of The LORD, not us.

The 1260 days is the same timing as the 42 months. God's people are children of the day (1 Thessalonians 5:5). Satan's followers are the children of darkness. Why is that important to this Revelation Scripture? It's because the same timing is given two ways, one in days per a solar day reckoning, and the other in months per a lunar night reckoning. So there's a hint who those Gentiles represent, i.e., Satan's host, Christ's enemies.

The next big clue there in Rev.11 is the appearance of God's two witnesses there to prophesy against the beast there, for 1260 days, and are then killed by the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit (Rev.11:7-8). And Rev.11:8 tells us where all that will take place, i.e., in Jerusalem on earth.

Also, because all the kingdoms of this world become those of The Father and His Son on the 7th Trumpet - 3rd Woe, that reveals the timing just before that being the 6th Trumpet - 2nd Woe period, which represents the time of "great tribulation" just prior to Christ's 2nd coming.

So not really hard to figure out at all, IF one sticks to what is actually written there.

Well here is why I sought understanding on it
1. The Gentiles were the first to receive salvation and it was to provoke the Jews to jealousy as written.
2. The temple is a place where people came for repentance of their sins...so why leave it out of the measuring at this time?
3. Are the Gentiles mentioned here different from the ones who received salvation first?
4. Is there another meaning to Gentile?
5. What is significant about the trampling under their feet...
So that is the reason I started this thread....to study this in depth...and Revelation is a complex study...hardly any of it is literal...most of it is symbolic...IMHO.

the Son of Man is not trodden under anyone's feet, it's the rebellious people who by their murmurings, unbelief, and idolatry provoked God as was in the wilderness. the term "trodden under feet" convey the idea of treat or regard with contempt.
at the time of the Lord Jesus was walking on this earth, the Gentile nation of Rome had no regard for any Messiah who would be KING, nor did some of the Jews. even as now the one's who reject the Messiah, and disowned as their King, and still continue in their rebellion, even unto this day. supportive scripture,

Okay the building of a temple is not for those who have received Christ as their savior and are baptized....it is for the Jews who believe in prophesy that He will return and sit in His Holy Temple to reign....correct? They are working on it as we speak...the Jews are still expecting the Messiah to come for the 1st time.
I watched a tour of Jerusalem not to long ago and the guide was explaining the progress being made to complete it.
So I don't have any part of my salvation connected to what they are doing over there...I have already received Jesus...they haven't.
