Okay the building of a temple is not for those who have received Christ as their savior and are baptized....it is for the Jews who believe in prophesy that He will return and sit in His Holy Temple to reign....correct? They are working on it as we speak...the Jews are still expecting the Messiah to come for the 1st time.
I watched a tour of Jerusalem not to long ago and the guide was explaining the progress being made to complete it.
So I don't have any part of my salvation connected to what they are doing over there...I have already received Jesus...they haven't.

first part correct, for his temple is not made with, or by mortal hands. correct our Inheritance is in the Spirit. yes we can eat drink, (not for nourishment). but there is a whole new beginning for us . eyes has not see, nor ears has hear of the things God has in store for us. yes we'll walk, (yes we'll have legs... a new body), but are able to go and walk where on please. see Luke 24:39 "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have". and the Lord Jesus walked through a door that was closed where the disciples was gathered. never tied, don't have to sleep, ect....

Well, it's obvious that you've been wrongly taught to create a whole other religion by destroying Scripture context, because none of what Apostle Paul taught negated the future return of our Lord Jesus to sit upon the literal throne of His father David, which is to take place on this earth...

Matt 25:31-34
31 When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:

If you do not believe that is to take place 'literally', then you do not really believe what is written in God's Holy Writ, and that is like trying to create a whole other religion out of The Bible.

our house is in the Spirit. understand something, our bodies that are resurrected is not ethereal, as the Lord said, "behold my hands and my feet, it is I. for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have". yes flesh and bone, but not blood. it is the Spirit that give us this new LIFE.

Well here is why I sought understanding on it
1. The Gentiles were the first to receive salvation and it was to provoke the Jews to jealousy as written.

Yes, but that's not really the subject of the Rev.11:1-14 Scripture. One of the worst things we can do when studying God's Word is to pull a verse out of a chapter's context. Instead we have to follow the flow of the subject where the verse is written, and then we understand it in relation to that, and then can explain it in detail, and it will then always be in agreement with the flow of the chapter. So the context of the Rev.11:1-14 verses is what? A time just prior to Christ's 2nd coming on the 7th Trumpet. What kind of time on earth is that to be per our Lord Jesus and His Apostles per other Scripture? A time of "great tribulation". And that's the context of that Rev.11:1-14 section of verses. Greater detail is given though, the 42 months parallel. And actually the treading of the temple idea is from Daniel 8...

Dan 8:13
13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

2. The temple is a place where people came for repentance of their sins...so why leave it out of the measuring at this time?

Hopefully, you began to grasp from the Dan.8 reference that those Gentiles of Rev.11:2 that tread the outer courts represent Satan's host and the deceived during the tribulation time. What did Apostle Paul warn in 2 Thess.2:4 that the coming Antichrist would do in Jerusalem at the end of this world? He's coming to play God, sitting in a literal temple there, and per Daniel sacrifices are to start up again there at the end. The Antichrist after the first period of 42 months will then end those sacrifices and instead place an abomination idol in false worship in Jerusalem. At that point the latter 42 months of the Dan.9:27 "one week" will begin, and that is the time of "great tribulation" our Lord Jesus was warning us about in Matthew 24 and Mark 13.

3. Are the Gentiles mentioned here different from the ones who received salvation first?

Those Gentiles of Rev.11:1 do not... represent Christ's Church of faithful believers who wait for Him. They represent the Antichrist's armies that will surround Jerusalem at the very end of this world. It is the holy city they tread per that Rev.11:2 verse. The idea that the "temple of God" per 2 Thess.2:4 means a spiritual temple is a false doctrine from men. Paul was talking about a literal physical temple the orthodox Jews will be allowed to build for the very end (which is the Daniel alignment). The Antichrist will come to play Messiah in it. That is what we as disciples of Christ Jesus are to be aware of for the end just before His return to gather us.

4. Is there another meaning to Gentile?

No. It's not about race or anything like that. It's simply about Christ's enemies, and the deceived who follow them. When the Antichrist appears in Jerusalem for the end, it is written that he will have power over all nations and peoples. So when God's two witnesses show up there also, prophesying against Antichrist and his world beast kingdom, he and the nations aren't going to like it, especially when the two witnesses cause all sorts of plagues as written there in Rev.11. This is why in Rev.11:10 tells us that when the two witnesses are killed, the nations will rejoice at their deaths, and send gifts to each other. That simply reveals how deceived the nations will be by the Antichrist and his beast kingdom.

5. What is significant about the trampling under their feet...

It's link with Daniel 8:12-14 shows what timing that is, i.e., the event of the "abomination of desolation" in Jerusalem for the end of this world.

So that is the reason I started this thread....to study this in depth...and Revelation is a complex study...hardly any of it is literal...most of it is symbolic...IMHO.

Well, sorry to say, but much of our Lord's Book of Revelation is very literal, even though there is much symbology used. Symbols are used to point to something very literal. The problem I see with many brethren is a lack of study in all of God's Word which is required before our Lord will open up His Revelation to one's understanding. He has to bless us also by The Holy Spirit according to our faith on Him and His Word too.

The OT Books of God's prophets are written in a very similar manner to Revelation. Even in certain Isaiah chapters some scholars call 'the Apocalypse of Isaiah', simply because it follows the same events given in Revelation for the end of this world. How we gonna' know about that if we don't study it first? Scripture context in the prophets can change subject very quickly, even within a single verse at times. Revelation does this too. There's even some men who claim a pagan wrote the Book of Revelation, simply because of their lack of understanding the method God used through His OT prophets to write by The Holy Spirit. They use the lame excuse that it's because Revelation is written so much differently than the rest of the New Testament Books. In reality, it shows they have not studied the Old Testament Books. When the new babe tries to jump into Revelation without previous study of all of God's Word, no wonder they suffer a shock at not being able to understand it. Thing is, our Lord has opened up His Revelation to all believers on Him today. However, we don't start off study of complex AC circuits when beginning a study in electronics either. No different with God's Word; we are to start at Genesis and work our way all the way through Revelation.

I didn't write the Ezekiel 40 thru 47 Chapters which reveal the future Millennial time involving a literal sanctuary on earth with the manifesting of God's River and the tree of life. You will have to wait until our Lord Jesus returns to understand that if you have trouble believing it as written. But for me, I choose to believe it as written, and in parallel to Revelation 22 where it is also shown for after Christ's return.

Now if you're going to use the idea that our Lord Jesus became the one and final sacrifice for sin for one and all time, I agree. So don't ask me to explain why sacrifices are mentioned in those Ezekiel Millennial Chapters for that future time, I don't know for sure they are literal. I actually believe they won't be, but are only 'representantive' of our love sacrifice Paul spoke of, since Jesus already died on the cross for the remission of sin.

However, none of that is an excuse to create a false salvation up in the sky when God's Word shows it will happen on a new earth. Granted that His heavenly Cube will reach into the heavens, but Christ's future kingdom will definitely be at Jerusalem on earth at the seat. In that future time, the heavenly dimension is going to be revealed right here, on earth. Both dimensions actually joined together, just as the angels of OT times could walk and live upon the earth and eat our food, etc., (see Genesis 18 & 19).

Thusly, there will be a future "thousand years" literal reign by our Lord Jesus and His elect upon this earth, over all nations, and that begins at His future return. But it definitely is not... of this present world.

most people are looking for a third temple. but many forgot what the Lord Jesus said to the woman of Samaria at the well, lets hear what the Lord said about a temple in Jerusalem.
John 4:19 "The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

John 4:20 "Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. (HOLD THAT THOUGHT).

John 4:21 "Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. (BINGO, THERE IT IS PLAIN AS DAY, "NEITHER AT JERUSALEM")

John 4:22 "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

John 4:23 "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:25 "The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

John 4:26 "Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

well worship at a temple at Jerusalem is OUT, and it been out for over 2,000 years and counting, for our Lord said in verse 23, "and now is". well they can build a third temple all day long, only in vain.

No, the building in the “City” of New York only “HOUSE” the United Nation. For the building itself is not the united Nation, but the People that come to the building is the United Nations.

I know that this is a crude example, but this is the best I have to offer.

you cannot do anything without the Lord Jesus. yes salt is good, as long as it is salt.

do we cast them in the fire or pull them out?
