You say I am twisting your words, but you have not shown where. Quote the exact words I twisted and explain what you actually meant. This is not about being a believer or unbeliever but about what one does to others. We will not be judged by the accuracy of pour beliefs.
You are twisting my words. My warnings are real and the ramifications are real.
You said, “This is not about being a believer or unbeliever but about what one does to others. We will not be judged by the accuracy of our beliefs.”
That statement is directly contrary to Scripture. Jesus said:
“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already” (John 3:18).
“If ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins” (John 8:24).
A person’s treatment of others matters, and our works will be judged. But Scripture never teaches that correct belief about Jesus Christ is unimportant. Our works reveal what we truly believe, but good deeds do not give eternal life to someone who rejects the Son.
“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” (1 John 5:12).
You also say your warnings are real and the ramifications are real. Repeating that does not prove it. A warning is only true when it agrees with God’s Word. You have warned people that rejecting your interpretation may cut them off from mercy, but you have not produced Scripture giving you that authority.
The real danger is not rejecting your teaching. The real danger is rejecting Jesus Christ and changing His gospel.
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:8).
You need to stop hiding behind accusations that your words are being twisted. Address the Scriptures. Does someone who does not have the Son possess life, or not? First John 5:12 answers that plainly.
