The question is why didn't he judge? In today's legal parlance, he lacked jurisdiction. Furthermore, he knew he lacked the moral authority of jurisdiction and therefore, refrained from judging.

Other than offending your sensibilities, my explanation is sound. Since you disagree, what is your explanation for why Jesus refrained from judging between the inheritance dispute of the brothers and the adulteress?

I guess we are so opinionated these days, we automatically think if we can judge, we ought to. Our lord modeled restraint in judgment for good reason - he was not authorized to judge that particular case.

We need to ratchet back the rhetoric just a bit. There are literally tens of thousands of pregnancies (out of MILLIONS) that result in the baby growing outside of the womb (in the mother’s abdominal cavity) that without an abortion (spontaneous or man-made) would result in the death of both the baby and the mother … one of the things that HISTORICALLY made death during pregnancy far more common than today.

To eliminate ALL ABORTION is neither practical nor desirable. It just needs to be returned to its place as an “emergency medical procedure” rather than a form of “birth control”. The root problem is MORAL rather than LEGAL, so the “fix” is SPIRITUAL rather than JUDICIAL/LEGISLATIVE.

I suspect that there are some that SPECIALIZE in abortions (working in clinics that crank out deaths), but I also suspect that few NEVER encounter a woman that requires it for medical reasons. Medical necessity may only be about 4% of abortions, but that is still 1 in 25. How many Obstetricians will not “beat the odds”?

Back to Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court has been betraying the Constitution, the country, and their oaths of office for a long time. So one should not be surprised about this leak, when the newest appointee to SCOTUS is being put there solely because (a) she is black, (b) she is a woman but cannot define "woman", (c) she loves pedophiles and pampers them , and (d) she is an extreme Leftist who will do anything to promote the Communist agenda. So this leaked opinion is actually telling us that SCOTUS failed to do its job in the first place by violating the Constitution, and the right to life, when they decided that murdering babies is OK. Especially if funded by taxpayer dollars.
