About that shield system. maybe it does not have enough anti missile missles to actually deploy and also have something left tin reserve for US defence purposes. After all this is Japan, not the US they would be defending. US also has been prodding Japan to redevelop their military capability. I have read Ukraine war is steadily depleting NATO and the US armories of missiles. Which also brings up another question, can the US keep supplying Ukraine forever?, No they wll run out of things. And what about the semiconductor shortages needed to build this stuff.

No they can't. but as Ukraine has more tanks, armored vehicles, and MLRS and artillery systems now than when they started it may not matter much. The Russians when they flee have left behind a stockpile of weaponry and ammunition!

Most of a nuclear war to come is dependent on what NATO and Biden do in Ukraine, and the newly acquired oblasts, not Russia.
Russia is calling up another 300,000 to fight in Ukraine, why would they do that if they were going to blow up Ukraine with Nukes.

Those 300,000 are just cannon fodder, even the recruits know that which is why many have already deserted!

But Russia is losing this war. How do we know?

1. Putin has lost very many high rankinig field officers. As Russia has no professional NCO cadre- this hurts the fighting terribly.
2. YOu do not sack many high ranking generals when you are winning.
3. YOu do not hire mercenaries from Syria, North Korea and the Wagner group when you are winning.
4. they are retreating in teh North east and south east.
5. Their advanced weapons are nearly depleted! He would have to strip the eastern Russia for S-400's and t-80 and t-90 MBT's.
6. Ukraiune has captured enough Russian weapons to resupply themselves to pre war levels. That doesn't happen when you are winning a war.
7. They cannot resupply the front troops as nearly all major supply routes have been lost. food, ammo and medical supplies are critically low!

I am still predicting Putin will resort to battle field nukes or their will be a coup in russia and Putin removed and a negotiated peace process begins.

Well we will see how long their air force lasts. Kherson is still under Russian occupation. But I think that once the ground is taken back, the Russian air force will slink back like they did in all the territories they could not steal from Ukraine. They have lost 266 confirmed jets and 233 confirmed helicopters since the 2/24 invasion.
