You need to know what "born again" means.

You OSAS believers claiming be born again without knowing what Jesus and His apostles say about born again.

It is pathetic that you try so hard to change the subject.

BTW, eternal life and born again are very connected. And you don't know this simple and basic principle.

ATP,

You cannot separate born again and eternal life. If you are born again, you will have eternal life. And if you are not born again you will not have eternal life.

It is simple concept. It is all in my OP.

You all believe you can lose your salvation, so how can any of you possibly know what eternal means.
We believe Jesus Christ.
Do you?

Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

What does "righteousness" mean in this verse, ATP?

Not according to you. You believe a born again believer can lose their salvation. Follow God's ten commandments or go to hell.

Not exactly, ATP.
A born again believer is, of course, going to begin to change, to be conformed to Christ...but it isn't going to happen overnight. His flesh is still at war with his spirit. As Paul says, he loves the law of God with his mind, but there is another law in his members.
So, yes....occasionally, he is going to "mess up."
Now, he could decide that he is more attached to his sin...he loves his flesh more than he loves God. He wants to continue in his sin. But we know that sin is what separates us from God, don't we? How, then, can we sin, and still think we can inherit the kingdom of God? Obviously, we cannot.
Or, he could repent, and turn from his sin, and be restored to God's fellowship.

It's called quenching the spirit. Quenching the spirit is not losing salvation. Far from it 1 Thess 5:19.

The idea that you can live like the devil and still go to live with God has absolutely no support in Scripture at all, basically because it isn't true.
More assumptions. Your list is getting bigger.

Fair enough. Then let me ask you...once I have believed in Jesus Christ, may I deliberately sin, with no intention of repenting at all...for instance, may I have an affair with a married man...and still expect to go to heaven?

Jesus is the one who judges who are born again or not. You don't claim you are born again and saved.

It is Jesus who judges who are born again and saved.

It is my experience that all OSAS believers boast to be true and saved and born again Christians, yet they don't even know what the "born again" means.

I have never seen any non-OSAS boast they are saved and born again Christians, yet they know what it is to be born again.

It is just so strange.

I notice that ATP is not answering my question.
Let me try again.
May a man rape his twelve year old stepson and still go to heaven?
What about the woman who drowned three of her children?
Could someone who believed in Jesus do these things and still go to heaven?

If you have an affair with a married man, God will convict you. If Hitler believed and accepted Jesus Christ on his death bed, he is going to heaven.

Born again means accepting Jesus Christ as your savior, by believing and confessing Rom 10:9.

.You probably weren't paying any attention when I told another user about this, but yes, the Holy Spirit within me will convict me...
AND I WILL REPENT.

That's the whole point.
If I refused to repent, but continued in my affair, would God still accept me?

so typical of your response; disregarding the rest what Jesus and His apostles said about born again.

Yes he will still accept you. God is faithful when we are faithless.

Rom 10:9 is the Word of God and is easy to understand, even for beginners like you.
