Very few churches line up with God's Word these days.....they have created so much division in the body of Christ...just read some of the threads and you will quickly recognize which doctrine they follow.
When my Abba/,Father first came and spoke to me it was so pure and full of love. Nothing even close to resembling what Churches teach about Him. He delivered me of religious bondage...told me He is my Father...
After all was said and done....I gained a new identity...I quit being a "christian" and became a child of God, a joint heir to His Throne, the righteousness of Him through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour.
Let me emphasize for those who don't get it....my faith is still Christian, but I got a promotion and became His child.:)

Years ago I was watching a beautiful full moon outside my window and I began to talk to my Father and told Him I was in awe of His mighty works and all He created and the harmony of it.....as the conversation went on my heart began to ache...then it was aching so hard I thought I was about to die....then suddenly it stopped....I said Father what just happened? He said I let you experience a tiny tiny portion of the pain in my heart for my people who are lost....I couldn't let you experience the fullness of it because you would not have been able to bear it and you would have died....I began to cry....and I said, Father what can I do? He said....Go and set my captives free....

So you were interceding for innocent unborn babies and experienced His love....I was just in fellowship and felt His pain....hmmmm....lol.

It just shows that God who is spirit has feelings the same as us, but it seems much more intense, but that doesn't surprise me one little bit.

I would never discount dreams or visions... Lol I'm an Adventist. And when they harmonise with scripture? More power to both.
I'm of the view that there is enough in scripture to reveal the true nature of Babylon... Antichrist (two different entities though closely related) and identify them both. And for those who don't fully understand scripture or appreciate the truths therein, then Jesus would reveal Himself through other means. Truth is more important than our narrow theological paradigms and God will use any means possible to bring people to repentance.

We may disagree on some things eschatologically, but we have this issue very much in common and stand on the same ground. And there is much to be said about any church these days.....the only Church that Jesus found no fault in was the Church of Philadelphia....the persecuted church.

That is right Brakelite. Too many have a tendency to put God in little boxes in an attempt to control him to make sure he performs according to their beliefs and doctrine.

Bu the fact is there is an unseen realm out there which we have not as yet even come close to and which God inhabits and wants to show us the majesty of it all. It is his realm and is there for our benefit and growth. To dispense with it as carnal is a big mistake as we are saying I want you God but only the bits that suit me. Salvation is an ongoing experience and only God knows what is the best for us and what he wants us to see and experience, so it is so essential that we approach everything with an open heart and an open mind and let God reveal the truth to us that will set us free. That will come in all sorts of ways and it is not for us to tell God what he can or cannot do.

Actually you will find in the end, the His Church, the spiritual one, that mens religions seem to despise, it has being since time its inception , since pentecost, because it is a spiritual and not carnal one run by Him alone, if all men agreed with Christ we would have none of this, but few do.

Gal_4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Bullets flying?....The battle belongs to the Lord and the Victory is already won. There are praying warriors around who intercede on behalf of everyone....A hedge of protection has been place around this forum by God and His Will we seek, we call upon the Holy Spirit to manifest His fruits and to loose the Spirit of Love among all the brothers and sisters here...I don't care what denomination someone is....... the fact is that His Word promises that we will all come together in the unity of faith as Paul taught in Ephesians. It is time to tear down the walls of religious doctrine and come together as a body of believers working together operating in the gifts and callings appointed to each of us and demonstrating them by the Power of the Holy Spirit and clothe ourselves with compassion, humbleness and love.

I think I was just comparing the 7 churches in Revelation to churches today....Jesus had something against all of them except one.
As to His Church that can't even be compared....it will be a powerful church, full of Fire and Glory and all the saints will be unified and operating to full capacity in their gifts and callings.

As I read your post it came to me that the last thing you should do is take it personal. That is the sign of a mature Christian. I am not aligned with any denomination but some of the writings here demean my experience so what do I do. Smile and say to myself, let's hope one day they see the light. I definitely do not take it personally as that achieves nothing more than to add fuel to the fire.

The fact is as you have pointed out no church is perfect except the persecuted church and what bread of life doesn't seem to grasp is that the catholic church is imperfect because he is a member of it because we have all sinned and come short of God's glory so none of us is exempt.

Apart from the fact it is very dangerous to judge others by their doctrine not their way of life because it is not doctrine that will get us to heaven, it is the new birth experience. And that sad to say is where catholicism falls down as they are not assured of their salvation. I would hate to be like that.

I don't know what they are assured of but I am confident God is able minister to them in a way that we cannot understand.

In the end its no longer about salvation, that has pretty much being taken care of, it is where will you be where He comes. and many will not be ready, because they choose there religion over Him. Remember what He said, as it was in the days of Noah, what did Noah so, He told the people to get into the ark for the rain was coming, and the people laughed, now He is our ark and He is coming but people still refuse to get into Him. It is sad to see for a christian Forum the leased discussed topic is Christ.

Although I think you and i will be surprised at what that final church will look like. And do you realise that final church will be the Laodicean church... Repentant? Oh, and it won't be based in Rome. And that's spiritual Jerusalem... But there will also be an equally powerful and vibrant opposition also operating in counterfeit gifts claiming to be the true church... Remember, the final issue is not over whether God exists... It's over how He is to be worshipped, with the deceived worshipping Satan. But they won't know it.. They will firmly believe they are worshipping God. But they are confused. They are Babylon.
