BTW
Where do you set the bar for not committing sin?
Being born of God.
1 John 3:
[
9]
Whosoever is born of God
doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and
he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
If we have unkind thoughts of anyone, is that sin?
If we have impure thoughts, are they sin?
If we are self seeking in any regard, is that sin?
If we get angry without just cause, is that sin?
If we put other things before God(anything) is that sin?
No, No, No, No, No.
To be honest with you, I constantly fail where I believe the bar is set at, not to commit sin. But am I happy to fail? No. Do I seek to excuse my failures? No. Do I hate my faliures? Yes I do. That is very different from being happy and content to sin as much as you like. No, I am far from being perfect in my flesh, but admitting that, does not mean I seek to excuse my shortcomings. I would prefer to admit it, lest I crush someone else who mistakenly beleived I was at a place I am not at, and they then feel huge guilt for not attaining to where they percieve me to be at
I was naturally born in sin.
I was naturally born not knowing of or knowing the Lord God.
I corrupted my soul in my body.
I heard, learned, read, studied, believed, read some more, studied some more, got to know about the Lord God, and Learned According to His Way He Offered me a Way to become WITH HIM FOREVER.
By my own Freewill I chose to call on the Lord and MAKE a Heartful repentance and commitment to the Lord God.
I fully Trust the Lord God is Faithful and Gave me exactly what He Promised.
I was forgiven and received the Lord Gods Promised Works within me.....and
SIN NO MORE.
My Sin was Against God. Only God forgives Sin.
Trespasses certainly can and do occur between and among myself and other people. I may Trespass, they may Trespass. And there is Scriptural teaching (for anyone not knowing), How TO correct Trespasses against another or when an other Trespasses against you.
Yes, people can and do all day long trespass and forgive each other of
trespasses. <—- Completely different from committing a Sin.
(You probably already do that...bump into someone, say sorry, excuse me, pardon me....You Trespassed, then said for your Trespass, SORRY, and may also asked to be EXCUSED, PARDONED, which is asking them TO EXCUSE, PARDON your Trespass. They say, okay...Done deal.
Not once was I ever commanded TO Believe IN, Have Faith IN, Trust, Look to a person as my Savior, etc.
Glory to God,
Taken
