Most Christians believe in the General Resurrection, in which all people who have ever lived will rise from the dead at the end of time, to be judged by Christ when He returns to fulfill the rest of Messianic prophecy.

Yes on the last day Christ returns and raises the dead in Christ first and then the living. All the wicked are cast into hell..............At this point you could hear a pin drop........ No one is left.... on earth at all................the earth empty of flesh and blood.Echo.............. No flesh and blood here.Because we are all raised into our new Glorified bodies in the Lord.........No one is left to rule and reign with Christ No one is here of flesh and blood to go into the Millennium. So the Bride will not rule and reign with Christ.........for there is no one to rule over. The millennium of the wolf the lamb and the child .........well the child is missing. The childs whole family.........no flesh in the millennium.......only the animals.Actually I’m saying how can that be? Because as you can see..There would be no one here on earth.....I wonder who can answer that?God BlessLove123

In the early part of his comments in Matthew 24:4-35 Jesus prophetically foretold many world conditions that would serve as warning that he would be about to take action, and he counseled awakeness as to this event, saying: “For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.” (Matthew 24:37-39)

Here Jesus, in referring to “the days of Noah,” evidently meant a time period during which Noah built the ark. The ark was something for the people to take note of, but they went on ignoring this divinely provided warning.
Just as people are ignoring the kingdom preaching work today.

According to Jesus’ prophecy, the social conditions among men and women on earth, along with the other things spoken of by Jesus, constitute a warning for all people today. The accuracy of this forecast is made more evident by the reading of the parallel account in Mark chapter 13 and Luke chapter 21, along with the apostle John's vision described in Revelation chapter 6.

What do these things show as to the likelihood that people now living will see, and even live through, “that day and hour”? This: Some, though only a few, took note of God’s warning, saw the Flood and were preserved through it. So today, people are hearing the warning and many, though few as compared with earth’s population, will hear and survive. (Revelation 7:9-17) This period from the end of the Gentile Times in 1914 C.E. Jesus designated in Matthew 24:36-39 as his “presence.” During this time he would, invisibly, be making inspection of the earth. He would also direct the work of warning the people and gather together those who are not the ‘scoffer’ type, but who take heed and exercise faith. Then he would ‘come’ with destructive power against God’s enemies. This warning is indeed being sounded verbally now, in the preaching of this good news of the Kingdom earth wide.(Matthew 24:14)

As to Jesus’ being “present” for a time before he ‘comes’ against this wicked world we're living in, consider the length of the period during which Noah built the ark. He was 500 years old when he began to have sons. (Genesis 5:32) These three sons all grew up and married, by which time Noah was probably around 550 years of age. At that time God gave him instructions to build the ark. (Genesis 6:18) The Flood occurred when Noah was 600 years old. (Genesis 7: 6) This would allow fifty years, more or less, as the period before the Flood, in which the people could observe and take warning. But the people were too involved in the everyday affairs of life, showing no faith in Noah’s message from God.

In Noah’s time he was told, one week before the floodwaters fell, to take into the ark the specimens of the various animals that were to be preserved. (Genesis 7:1-16) But this does not prove that there would be advance notice in our time as to the exact day of Christ’s “coming” to destroy this present system of things. Back there Noah obviously had to know when to begin taking the animals into the place of safety. If he took them in too soon, when, perhaps, it seemed according to his calculation that the end was immediate, it would draw unduly on the stock of foodstuffs he had stored in the ark. On the other hand, if the flood came suddenly without warning, Noah could not have gathered the animals into the ark in time. The advance notice God gave him was very short, but necessary, and sufficient to accomplish God’s purpose.

That even the disciples of Jesus Christ, true Christians on earth, will be unaware beforehand of the precise time of Christ’s “coming” as executioner (Armageddon) is shown by what he said as recorded at Matthew 24:42-44. Note that these words were not directed to the world in general. They were addressed directly to Christ’s disciples: “Keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know one thing, that if the householder had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have kept awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. On this account you too prove yourselves ready, because at an hour that you do not think to be it, the Son of man is coming.”

So because of all these facts, along with Jesus’ prophetic words, millions of people now living will see the “day” of Christ’s coming as executioner to mete out justice upon this system of things, religious, political, commercial and social. But to survive that execution of judgment is another matter. Said Jesus: “Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned; two women will be grinding at the hand mill: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned.” (Matthew 24: 40, 41) Weeks earlier Jesus had made a similar statement, prompting the disciples’ question, “Where, Lord?” He answered, “Where the body is, there also the eagles will be gathered together.” (Luke 17:37) The ones “taken along” are spiritually sharp-sighted, like eagles, who gather to the one whom they discern to be the Messiah, for the spiritual feast that YHWH God provides within his place of safety. They will gather together with God’s congregations on earth, under his true Messiah. Those “abandoned” will be those who do not keep spiritually awake and who consequently get swallowed up in a selfish way of life, as did the people in Noah’s day. Such are “abandoned” to destruction along with the wicked world in which they are involved.

So, to survive the executional work that begins on that “day” requires faith. This can be obtained only by a study of the Bible. We must "keep on the watch" that our actions are based on God's righteous principles, which are inGod's word the Bible knowing that that day for executional work to begin is surely coming, in fact, is near. (Habakkuk 2:3) In “keeping close in mind the presence of the day of YHWH,” God’s time period for meting out justice, we do not become careless. We need to let all features of our lives be spiritually influenced by God's righteous principles so that we can “be found finally by him spotless and unblemished and in peace.” (Peter 3:12-14)

Most Christians believe there will be a resurrection on the day of Christ's return, but many differ after that point about the Judgment.

The last reference that Lord Jesus gave of what is to happen on the day of His future return is written in Revelation 19 through 22. Revelation 20 specifically further explains the Matthew 25 separation of His sheep vs. the goats, and the Matthew 13 division of the good wheat from the tares.

1. No flesh born is cast into the future "lake of fire" when Jesus returns to end this present world time.

2. The casting into the lake of fire of those born in the flesh that still reject Jesus does not occur until after... the Great White Throne Judgment which takes place after... the future "thousand years" reign by Jesus and His elect, per Revelation 20.

3. Thus "tares" of Matthew 13 only go into the "lake of fire" after... the future "thousand years" and after the GWT Judgment at the end of that thousand years.

4. The "second death" is... the casting into the future "lake of fire" after the GWT Judgment.

5. On the day of Christ's future return, there is an initial judgment of separation, but not unto destruction. On the day Jesus returns, ALL in the graves will come forth, either unto the "resurrection of life", or unto the "resurrection of damnation" (John 5:28-29). There is no souls still sleeping in the casket to be raised only after the "thousand years".

6. Then ALL those still alive on the day of Christ's future coming, will be 'changed' to the resurrection body type also, and go into either one of the two resurrection types. All souls will be in the "spiritual body" Paul taught, Death having been swallowed up in victory by Christ Jesus. (1 Corinthians 15:50-54, and Isaiah 25:6-9). The only... death remaining in that time will be the "second death", and is only for those who continue to reject The Father and His Son.

7. Only then, after all that, will the abode of the wicked called 'hell' (Hades), along with death, and the wicked, be cast into the future "lake of fire", and be no more. That is the "second death", and it is to one's spirit with soul, not flesh.

8. Then the promised new heavens and a new earth will begin, with no remembrance of this world.

There's always one or two Scriptures that prove every point of doctrine. There are others that lend to the proof, but some Scripture is either believed as written, in order to correct false teaching, or the Scripture is rejected as written, in order to hold to false teaching:

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

'Them' the Lord will rule, are the remnant of the smitten nations gathered together to fight with the Lord at Armageddon.

So, 'them' are the ones you say will not be on earth after the battle, that Scripture says will be ruled after the battle.

It fulfills the prophecy of the Son's rule on earth in Ps 2:

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

And confirms the promise of the righteous reigning and ruling with Him in Rev 2:

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

(Rev 14)
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Up to the last hour of judgement, there will still be great tribulation from the world upon Christians converted and killed for Christ.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Once the Lord resurrects the dead, and transforms them on earth into immortality, to meet Him in the air, then there will be the Lord's swift great tribulation of plagues on earth.

The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

It will be the prepping barrage before the final battles with them gathered against Him and the resurrected Saints at Armageddon.

Christians will be enduring temptation, deception, and persecution from the power of of the beast up to the last minute, and then Christ will make a short work of the inhabitors of the earth, before coming in brightness and power to stand on the mount.

And so Christ do suffer great and long tribulation and wrath from the world on earth, which has been since the beginning, but they do not great and quick tribulation and wrath from the Lord on earth:

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Egypt held great oppressive power over the children of Israel for hundreds of years, and then Egypt was brought low by the Lord in a matter of days, when the Lord's deliverance was at hand.

The world of the wicked had power to destroy Noah for a generation, and yet they were all suddenly destroyed in a swift flood, when God delivered Noah and his family out of their hands by the ark.

Sodom and Gomorrah had generations to seduce with wickedness the cities of the plain, and yet all of them were destroyed at once with fire and brimstone, then the Lord delivered just Lot and his two daughters, for Abraham's sake.
