Our position is one of neutrality....we are not pacifists, because Jesus said his disciples “would have fought” the ones who came to arrest him.....but he told Peter to put away his sword and healed the man who was struck. The reason for the swords seems to escape you....it wasn’t their battle. They did not need to fight on that occasion, as prophesy was being fulfilled.

You have lost the plot....those “Christians” involved in bloodshed down through the centuries were the soldiers of Caesar not Christ. They betrayed Jesus by taking up the sword for the wrong reasons....their victories had nothing to do with God, who can take care of his own business without any intervention from us....the world will do whatever God permits it to do, because he is the overseer of all that goes on in a world that he handed over to his adversary.
