Not necessarily a quote, more than a reference my friend. It may or then again may not be corrupted. And it's neither here nor there that is says east or south. What it is is the tip of the iceberg of my delima.
But to reference it as prophecy, which some Bible scholars dispute as to weather the summer fruit prophecy was actually for Amos' day, or some future event. So then that's why the OP of are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?!!! Are you getting my gist so far?
English is not my native language, so I ask: What does it OP mean?
Regarding the biblical text of Daniel 7: v.25:
"As to weather if was actually for Amos' day or some future event", let us see:
Dan.7:v.25KJV
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Dan. 7:v.25CJB-Complete Jewish Bible
25 He will speak words against the Most High and try to exhaust the holy ones of the Most High. He will attempt to alter the seasons and the law; and [the holy ones] will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.
Daniel 12:v.6-8KJV
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
Daniel's question was:
v.8 ... O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
The answer:
Verses 10 to 12
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the ...the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. - 1.290 days refer to the second half of the last seven years of the Devil's world -the last week-Dan 9:v.27, acually they refer to this current world.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. -Day 1.334 is/will be the last Day of the Devil's world. That said, blessed is he that gets to the day 1.335 , the mysterious day 1,335.
But wait, the revelation does not stop or end in the verses above, oh no, absolutely. They are linked with the events described the book of Revelation, I would cite for to start Revelation 11:v.1-2:
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is/will be given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. - 1,260 days -
What kind of event(s) is(are) linked to the Gentile nations in the prophecy above for a period of 42 months or 1,260 days?
For example Revelation 13:v.5 to 9 give us a clue :
5 And there was given unto him (unto the Man Beast of sea-who is him?) a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. - 1,260 days -
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.(heaven?Eph.1:v.3)
7 And it was given unto him to make WAR with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
Those events above refer to the FIRST half of the last Daniel 70th week -the FIRST 1,260 days - , afterwards will come the abomination of desolation (Matt. 24:v.15), then will be fulfilled LITERALLY Amos 8:v. 11-12, and also 13 combined with Matthew 25:v.1 to 13.
Revelation 13:v.2
2 And the Beast which I saw (the Man Beast of sea - sea:means peoples, and nations, and multitudes and tongues) was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion (Daniel 7:v.3 to 7. Check it out): and the Dragon (the Man Beast of the earth-Rev. 13:v.11-the son of perdition, the Man of sin-the own Satan himself-2 Thes.2:v.3 to 12) gave him (gave to the Man Beast of sea) his power, and his seat, and great authority.
In Christ JESUS, KING of kings(kings made by Him-Rev. 5:v.10), and LORD of lords
