There are many lessons to be learned from Jesus' parable of the sower in Matthew chapter 13. And it is easy to see and understand Jesus speaking of different percentages of profit unto the kingdom that come from His words falling on good soil. But hearing and seeing--did you notice that those percentages chronologically--diminish and become smaller and smaller?
