Cooper, you are parroting what you have been told without any genuine study of your own.
If you knew what Jesus taught instead of what Christendom teaches, you would know the words Jesus spoke before he gave the model prayer....

“And when you pray, don’t be like the people who don’t know God. They say the same things again and again. They think that if they say it enough, their god will hear them. Don’t be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. So this is how you should pray:
Our Father in heaven, we pray that your name will always be kept holy. We pray that your kingdom will come— that what you want will be done here on earth, the same as in heaven. Give us the food we need for today. Forgive our sins, just as we have forgiven those who did wrong to us. Don’t let us be tempted, but save us from the Evil One.’”
    (Matthew 6:7-13 - ERV)

Jesus never told us to pray that prayer.....over and over again. This was a model to base our own prayers on. A prayer that comes from your head and not your heart is meaningless and lazy repetition.

The model prayer was ‘what to pray for’, and ‘in order of importance’. First and foremost was the sanctification of God’s name (Yahweh, Jehovah).....a name that is not heard in either Judaism nor in Christendom. If it was, then no trinity could exist.

Then for God’s Kingdom to come so that God’s will can be done “on earth as it is in heaven”....does Christendom know what God’s Kingdom is, and what it will do for mankind in restoring God’s original purpose for us here on this earth? Do you even know what you are praying for?

Having Jesus in our heart doesn’t mean ignoring the one who sent him, as if the servant can become more important than his Master. Jesus was a servant of his God.....(Acts 3:13, 26, John 17:3)

I see you vainly clinging to what you have been taught, even when you are shown from the scriptures that it is not correct. This is a time of testing.....we have an opportunity to accept God’s truth or to reject it. This is “the time of the end”, spoken about by Daniel and soon God will bring the devil and all who blindly follow him, to account. We do not want to be among those, who at the judgment vainly try to justify their “Christianity” to Jesus. (Matthew 7:21-23) No one wants to be told “I never knew you, get away from me you workers of lawlessness”....

I can only encourage you to do some serious study outside of what Christendom teaches using scholarly works to determine original word meanings (like Strongs Concordance)....only then will you see how badly translated many Bibles are. The Bible’s truth is simple, but the complications introduced by Christendom over many centuries have so muddied the waters that many get lost in the tangle. We have the tools to do our own digging now...something that was not available to anyone until this “time of the end”. (Daniel 12:4, 10-12)

The devil is a master of deception......the deceived do not know that they have been fed lies, until they have lost everything. (Revelation 18:4-5) We do not want to be among them.

Scripture below clearly shows your claims are in error, souls are in hell and delivered up to be judged, plain, simple, easy to understand

death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:

death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:

death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:

    Revelation 20:11-15KJV
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

From the moment of death to the moment when Jesus calls us out of the grave at the resurrection there is no consciousness of the passing of time. Thousands of years may have elapsed yet for those resurrected it will be as a moment in time, subsequently Paul can say in Corinthians, 'We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.'

I was thinking about this. What do you mean glorified state? His body? He had holes in his hands.

    John 20:27

Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

I would add.....the dead in Jesus are still in the grave....they haven't gone anywhere, either to heaven , hell or some other intermediary place men have invented.....they are dead and scripture calls this death 'sleeping' just as Jesus said before he raised Lazarus. John 11:11
David is mentioned by Paul in Acts 2:29 as still being in the grave and also Daniel was told by the angel communicating with him that he would rest (sleep) and receive his allotted inheritance (eternal life)at the end of the days ie, when Jesus returns. Daniel 12:13

You have the references. I have deliberately not posted the texts so you can look them up and see the context.

When people bring up Lazarus in this thread ( the Lazarus Jesus resurrected 4 days later) it reminds me of John 9:3. That Lazarus didn't pass on because God wanted Jesus to perform an observable miracle.

I think Jesus will retain His wounds of the cross as a reminder to all what He did for us for eternity.

Looking into it, seems Spurgeon thought the same.

    I do not know.

Revelation 1:12-16 and in the Book of Daniel describes Jesus in a totally completely astonishing appearance.

But Jesus in the gospels was made to be humble in appearance.

The gospels Jesus comes as the humble savior and servant. After Revelation, he is THE KING.

So would He? I can't decide.

Jesus gave us ONE short prayer that begins by humbling ourselves before God, and covers everything. The Pharisees stood on the street corner, going on-and-on, bragging about their superiority compared to other men. I get the feeling you think yourself superior to others the way you override what others say. There seems to be an element of pride, whereby you know everything and all others are wrong. This seems common among JW's. Jesus told us not to be like them.

    Anyway, you are off-topic.

Actually that is not true.....Christ himself had performed a few resurrections and raised people back to life in the flesh. The apostles did too. So How was Jesus called "the firstborn from the dead"? Because he was not raised in the flesh, according to Peter.
    1 Peter 3:18...
"For Christ died once for all time for sins, a righteous person for unrighteous ones, in order to lead you to God. He was put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit."
He did not take back the body he sacrificed.....however, he was resurrected as a spirit being (the first) so he could materialize as a human, as other spirit beings (angels) had done in the past. (Genesis 18) This ability means that he can take on a body of flesh, which would explain why many did not recognize him. Jesus materialized a body with wounds to convince a doubting Thomas, but at other times no mention was made of them. Considering the awful physical condition he was in at he time of his death. if he had been raised in that same battered body, they would have known who he was.

You brought it up.....I think that you are running out of excuses. I know that because you resort to attack when you have no defense.
He said "pray this way"...not "pray this prayer, endlessly repeated".

If you check the reference I gave you at Genesis 18, you will see that three angels visited Abraham to inform him about the birth of his son Isaac, and two of them then went on to Sodom to alert Lot of its impending destruction. These ate what their hosts provided on both occasions.

The angels who sinned in Noah's day materialized and actually took human women and produced children, forcing God to take drastic action to eliminate these freakish offspring and force their fathers back to the spirit realm where they were put under restraint. Apparently these did not need God's permission to materialize human form. The angel Gabriel took on human form when he appeared to both Daniel and Mary, conveying messages from God.
