I have been reading through a lot of the end times prophecy forum. This thread is to discuss the unseen realm of battle that we fight in every day.

Do you think evil dominant spiritual entities control the powers of this world, or is our current world scenario and the way countries relate to one another separate from demonic and angelic conflict?

Do you think that there is any separation at all?

Will dominant evil powers conspire to manifest within their own selected human individuals and human authorities?

How are we expected to (How should we) do battle as warriors of God when prophecy declares nations and spiritual authorities will already act a certain way?

2 John 1:7
[ Beware of Antichrist Deceivers ] For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

How are we expected to (How should we) do battle as warriors of God when prophecy declares nations and spiritual authorities will already act a certain way?

Matthew 24
3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

The Great Tribulation
15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.
26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

The Coming of the Son of Man
29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Ephesians 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

1 Peter 4
7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.

we are to love one another, pray and stand firm....

The NT teaches that both nations and individuals can be controlled/influenced by the powers of darkness. Satan is truly the god of this world, but fallen humans willingly follow his influences.

Luke 4:5-7 (ESV)
[sup]5 [/sup]And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, [sup]6 [/sup]and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will.

Jesus did not challenge the devil's above statement. That's why all governments are CORRUPT. And they will stay corrupt until the Prince of Peace returns to set up His Kingdom. Those who are hoping this world will get better are going to be terribly disappointed.

Mark 13:19 (ESV)
[sup]19 [/sup]For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be.

I see that there are 2 parallel realities! One is temporal, and the other eternal. Satan rules the temporal minded ones. He maintains his influence through deceiving men! But God's influence affects the temporal reality.

Spiritual Christians are to seek to conform this temporal reality to the eternal one.

His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We are involved in this process! He wishes to include us in this and work through us!:)

The way I see per God's Word, putting it in laymen's terms, the principalities and powers over this present world are only given power by God Himself. That is done only in order to work His Plan.

For His Church on earth, we already represent the victorious through Christ's death on the cross. The main difference today is that Christ's Kingdom is only manifested on earth among His Body, and not outside it over all the earth, yet.

Even during the coming great tribulation Christ's Body will still be here on earth to go through it just to show the wicked that God cannot be defeated, and that His Promise of Salvation to His servants is True and sure.

In the last days when Satan's host determines to try and step outside God's bounds of control He set for them, by attempting to destroy Christ's saints off this earth, that's when God's fury is going to arise, with His coming off His Throne in Heaven back to this earth to take total control over the wicked.

So this present rebuke the Body of Christ must go through in the last days by Satan's host is really nothing. Be strong in the Faith. Keep your patience in Christ Jesus.

God said He created this earth to be inhabited (Isaiah 45:18), and for His pleasure He created all things. That's why He also said the meek shall inherit the earth, but the wicked will be cut off from it and be no more (Ps.37).

This earth is for us, Christ's servants. It's time Christ's Body started to think about that too.
