@St. SteVen, why do you use such a negative word "extortion" for the consequence of refusing the free gift of salvation.
Because it's so much nicer than "Spiritual Rape?"

"Love me, or I'm going to hurt you real bad forever." A certain 12-year-old boy heard that message loud and clear.

But that is the message, right?

The consequences. ???
- If you refuse the "Free Gift" of salvation

To choose to go to Heaven, is to choose Christ by faith and be born again on earth.
Tod choose to not go to Heaven only leaves one other option available for you in eternity.

- If you walk away from the church

Find another one.

- If you question the church

Find another one.

- If you are not "faithful" until the end (whatever that means)

God is faithful to complete our salvation, once we are born again on earth.

[To] choose to not go to Heaven only leaves one other option available for you in eternity.
No one chooses NOT to go to heaven.
That's a whitewash apologetic to absolve God from sending people
to the most pointless and sadistic fate imaginable.

Like: "God doesn't send people to hell; they send themselves there."
As if God had nothing to do with it.

Spiritual Extortion - The threat of consequence for refusing the "Free Gift" of salvation

I'm so glad I won't have to stand before God of the Bible on Judgment Day after accusing Him of "extortion"!

It is actually the church that is guilty of extortion. And you fell for it. "Believe or burn." (extortion)

The God of the Bible?
That kind of proves my point about Bibliolatry. - LOL

My 96 year old mother had dementia when she passed.
Was she faithful until the end?

She seemed to have converted to Catholicism at the end.
I had never seen her with Rosary beads and an Adoration of Mary reading before.

[
Of course she was!
Why would you think she wasn't?

No one chooses NOT to go to heaven.

Do you always tend to not think about what you are posting and just post reactions instead?

Listen.
Lets say i met an unbeliever in St.Paul.....in a park, in the springtime, in 2026.
I tell them about Jesus......How Jesus loves them, died for them... and wants them to come to Him for forgiveness and GO TO HEAVEN after they die.

So...If they dont want Him, then they just refused to go to Heaven. = They made a choice not to go to heaven.
And there is only one other option available to end up...in eternity.

That's a whitewash apologetic to absolve God from sending people
to the most pointless and sadistic fate imaginable.

Did you take Note of what HOLY God had His Son go through so that you can be forgiven your sin before you die, so that you can go to Heaven after. you die?

= Jesus was "marred beyond recognition".......before He was scourged 39 times until His ribs could be seen. And then He was Crucified.
Do you know how a Crucifixion kills you?
Its the hanging from your arms, in that STRETCHED OUT position that cut off your air so that you strangle.....you smother to death.
What Jesus had to do......was push up from that Spike that was hammered through His top foot bones and into the other foot Heel, to get a breath.
Then He would lower and hang again, needing to breath, and then He would push all His body weight up again, off that Spike.
Up and down, up and down.....up and down.. to get some AIR.. pushing his body weight up off that SPIKE... And He had already been savagely beaten and scourged.. so, thats a lot of blood loss already.....even before He was nailed to The Cross and the "up and down" for AIR begain for 3 hours.

So, do you see what "God is Love" had Him go through to pay for sin?...Yours, mine?
See the COST of God's Judgment against SIN? See "the CUP" of God's wrath against sin.. poured out on INNOCENT Jesus?..>His Son?
See that Sacrifice.?
So, you think HELL is not going to be for the sinner, as harsh, and in fact worse, when they have rejected what Christ had to go through for them so that a SINNER can go to Heaven.

Think again, about Hell.
Its right there waiting for these. who are not born again on Earth before they died.

John 3:36

Like: "God doesn't send people to hell; they send themselves there."

God allows everyone the choice of Trusting in Christ to be born again before you die, .....or not.
He honors your Choice, forever, after you die.
And because there are only 2 options in Eternity......>Heaven or Hell"....... one of them is chosen by not Trusting in Christ and being born again on Earth, before you die.
See, God simply lets you go to the place you chose to end up in eternity, by not Trusting in Christ, or by Trusting in Christ, before you die.

You get to Choose where you end up, in Eternity.

Welcome to : Salvation.

Its a Choice.

That saw cuts both ways. For example:
Listen.
Lets say i met an unbeliever in St.Paul.....in a park, in the springtime, in 2026.

They rejected you and your message. You were inviting them to be like you. They said "No thanks."
Some say the gospel needs to be heard by a prospect seven times before they say "Yes."

--- PARODY ---

Christian: You should become a Christian.
Victim: Why on earth would I want to do that?
Christian: Huh? What do you mean?
Victim: Christians are the worst people on the planet.
Christian: No, sinners like you are the worst.
Victim: Seriously?
Christian: Yes, that's what the Bible says.
Victim: Doesn't it also say not to judge others?
Christian: I'm not judging you. That will come later.
Victim: Like when?
Christian: After you die without Christ.
Victim: Are you talking about a forever burning hell?
Christian: Yes, that's where you are going.
Victim: How would you know?
Christian: Again, that's what the Bible says.
Victim: But what do you say?
Christian: I agree with the Bible.
Victim: You are proving my point about why I don't want to be a Christian.
Christian: Why not?
Victim: I don't want to be like you.

Indeed.

They rejected you and your message.

The Lord sends out his ministers and his Holy Spirit opens hearts.
So, if they dont want Jesus, then they made a choice.
It can be that God will bring another harvest laborer to them or a few, and each time they respond more and more.

Heaven is chosen, and Hell is chosen by what they do with Jesus.

In Eternity, God's only qustion is....."What did you do with my Son"., and whatever they chose before they die, is what decided if they met God as Eternal Judge, or as Father God.

You were inviting them to be like you.

I was inviting them into God's Love and Christ's Forgiveness.
I am inviting them to go to Heaven.

They said "No thanks."

That can happen, or worse.

Some say the gospel needs to be heard by a prospect seven times before they say "Yes."

Some say that Pepsi is better the Coke.

Do you have a day in your past history when you realized that you needed to be saved... you needed to be forgiven, and you KNEW that Jesus was all of this for you and you trusted IN Christ?
Do you have that past moment in your life?
If so, you are going to Heaven.
Rejoice.
Hallelujah.

"God is faithful to complete your salvation".

You are "Blood bought" with the Blood of Jesus.
Jesus has paid for your eternal redemption with His Blood and Death.

You will get a new glorified body.

You will get to meet all the OT Saints and all the really cool NT saints, like Paul, and Jude, and Steven, and all those who came after like St.Francis, and Hidegard of Bingen and St Bernadette and Mary of Egypt.

You eternally belong to God if you just ONE TIME gave God your faith in Christ, and Jesus said that nothing can take you out of His hand., and that is a promise from God.
