Tongues follows the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

The baptism of the Holy Ghost comes through a praise from our inner being.

First repent, then when we finish repenting, ask God to fill you with the Holy Ghost, then begin to praise Him until you feel the power that Jesus spoke of in Acts 1 come upon you per Acts 2.

At that moment in your life, you will be in unison with the Acts 2 church.

After that happens, you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins per verse 38.

You can only be added to the church via water baptism per Acts 2:38-41....

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
The UPC is wrong.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers the believer with Dunamis power, and has nothing to do with salvation.

Everyone in the upper room on Pentecost was already saved by faith, before baptism with the Holy Spiritoccured.

Holy Spirit baptism, done at moment believed in Lord jesus!
The Holy Ghost baptizes us into Christ's death?

We are buried with Christ by holy Ghost baptism?

The Holy Ghost is a burial and Spirit of death?

No, that would be the blood of Jesus shed that remits sin!
Very observant of you....

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,...

Now you know how the blood is applied.

You mean they were saved before they had the Holy Ghost and power as Jesus promised in Acts 1?...

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: ...

When we are immersed into the waters of baptism calling upon the name of Jesus for the remission of sins -- then here comes the Blood!

Science tells us having enough water in the body is essential to keeping the blood within normal levels. And, enough fluid in the bloodstream is also necessary for keeping the blood's viscosity normal. Water gives blood its ability to flow.

1 John 5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
[8] And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

So I guess the Book Of Acts is a chronicle of how the Disciples overthrew the teachings of Christ when it came to the matter of forgiveness of sins because of one’s Faith in Jesus.....interesting .....

You actually think that about Acts.

No.....Acts just goes on to show that Faith in Christ is everything....especially when it comes to the forgiveness of sins....
