It is easy for men to declare a love for God, to declare they want to please us. But this confession must be followed with the appropriate walk. We are to present ourselves daily as a living sacrifice to God. If we do this, he transforms our lives, if we do not, he does not force our hand.

It is up to us if we will serve God and die daily, that we might do the will of the Father and not our own. Do we see the fruits of such a life?

Many who claim the new birth do not even believe in this transforming power. But this is the fruit that testifies to new life in Christ Jesus. We must enter the gate and walk the narrow way.

It's a terrible shame that ...
IMO, less than 1% of people on Christian forums (that I'm familiar with) have this revelation.

Would you care to say (or hazard a guess) whether all BACs belong in the elect of God?

I would like to respond to this

I say all who are BACs are in the elect of God. Those who claim it but do not live it are not born again.

Those who do not hold to His teachings or commandments are not His disciples. What are His teachings or commandments you might ask...

Maybe you are trying to hard

If we break the law we sin

Christ removed the law

We are now under grace

We should not abuse the grace

That is one of the points that Romans 6 is trying to make

Dost thou mean, "Why did Paul complicate it?"

Because ...
He was writing to complete strangers ...
and he desired that they welcome him with open arms
to teach them about stuff that only he was trained to teach 'em.

Please note: this was the only church that was NOT his!

Meanwhile back @ the ranch ...
one of the things he accomplished was ...
he managed in 9 verses to warn them 3 times ...
that sinners do NOT inherit eternal life!
