In Daniel we read that one of the characteristics of the Antichrist is that it would wear out the saints of the Most High:

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws (Daniel 7:25).
The Papacy has a long history of "wearing out" the saints of the Most High. Below is a timeline of the generally aggressive history of the Roman Catholic Church, but the most tragic one that concerns the Word of God is the persecution during the Middle Ages of anyone daring to oppose the Church. The Bible predicts that the saints of the Most High would be persecuted for 1260 years.

Historian J. A. Wylie said this:
It is idle in Rome to say, "I gave you the Bible, and therefore you must believe in me before you can believe in it." The facts...conclusively dispose of this claim. Rome did not give us the Bible—she did all in her power to keep it form us; she retained it under the seal of a dead language; and when others broke that seal, and threw open its pages to all, she stood over the book, and unsheathing her fiery sword, would permit none to read the message of life, save at the peril of eternal anathema" J.A. Wylie, History of Protestantism Volume 1 (Virginia: Heartland Publications, 2002): 58.

During these years of oppression in which the masses were kept in ignorance and the priest held sway over every aspect of life, here and there arose individuals willing to shine a light into the darkness. Christian author Dave Hunt tells us that because they rejected transubstantiation, "Christians were burned at the stake by Roman Catholics by the hundreds of thousands." Dave Hunt, A Cup of Trembling (Eugene, Oregon: Harvest House Publishers, 1995): 160. We find many instances in the historical record:

The Albigensian 'crusade' in southern France included Albigensian Christians and Catholics were slain. By the time the Roman Catholic armies finished their 'crusade,' almost the entire population of southern France (mostly Albigensian Christians) has been exterminated. During the six centuries of papal Inquisition that began in the 13th century, up to 50 million people were killed. Read what J. A. Wylie's The History of Protestantism has to say about the Crusades against the Abigenses

1540 -1570 Roman Catholic armies butcher at least 900,000 Waldensian Christians of all ages during this 30-year period.

1550 - 1560 Roman Catholic troops slaughter at least 250,000 Dutch Protestants via torture, hanging, and burning during this ten-year period.

1553 -1558 Roman Catholic Queen Mary I of England (aka 'bloody Mary') attempts to bring England back under the yoke of papal tyranny and during her reign, many good Christian men and woman are burned to death at the sake. Her victims include bishops, scholars, and other Protestant leaders.

1572 St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre. French Roman Catholic soldiers begin killing Protestants in Paris on the night of August 24, 1572. The soldiers kill at least 10,000 Protestants during the first three days. At least 8000 more Protestants are killed as the slaughter spreads to the countryside.

1641 -1649 Eight years of Jesuit-instigated Roman Catholic butchery of Irish Protestants claims the lives of at least 100,000 Protestants.

1685 French Roman Catholic soldiers slaughter approximately 500,000 French Protestant Huguenots on the orders of Roman Catholic King Louis 14 of France. it just goes on and on...

Seems to be we forget its its not on our IPhones and CNN these days.

History shows us who this antichrist power is and they are getting help from those who say they are 'christian', we have to expose the deception they are bringing. The Catholic Church actually tried to stop people, from possessing or reading the Bible on their own and this intensified through the Middle Ages and later, with the addition of a prohibition forbidding translation of the Bible into native languages.

1) Pope Innocent III stated in 1199:

... to be reproved are those who translate into French the Gospels, the letters of Paul, the psalter, etc. They are moved by a certain love of Scripture in order to explain them clandestinely and to preach them to one another. The mysteries of the faith are not to explained rashly to anyone. Usually in fact, they cannot be understood by everyone but only by those who are qualified to understand them with informed intelligence. The depth of the divine Scriptures is such that not only the illiterate and uninitiated have difficulty understanding them, but also the educated and the gifted (Denzinger-Schönmetzer, Enchiridion Symbolorum 770-771)

Source: Bridging the Gap - Lectio Divina, Religious Education, and the Have-not's by Father John Belmonte, S.J.

2) COUNCIL OF TOULOUSE - 1229 A.D.

The Council of Toulouse, which met in November of 1229, about the time of the crusade against the Albigensians, set up a special ecclesiastical tribunal, or court, known as the Inquisition (Lat. inquisitio, an inquiry), to search out and try heretics. Twenty of the forty-five articles decreed by the Council dealt with heretics and heresy. It ruled in part:

Canon 1. We appoint, therefore, that the archbishops and bishops shall swear in one priest, and two or three laymen of good report, or more if they think fit, in every parish, both in and out of cities, who shall diligently, faithfully, and frequently seek out the heretics in those parishes, by searching all houses and subterranean chambers which lie under suspicion. And looking out for appendages or outbuildings, in the roofs themselves, or any other kind of hiding places, all which we direct to be destroyed.

Canon 14. We prohibit also that the laity should be permitted to have the books of the Old or New Testament; unless anyone from motive of devotion should wish to have the Psalter or the Breviary for divine offices or the hours of the blessed Virgin; but we most strictly forbid their having any translation of these books. (Source: Heresy and Authority in Medieval Europe, Scolar Press, London, England pp. 194-195)

Some may doubt that there even was a Church Council in Toulouse France in 1229, so lets check.

After the death of Innocent III, the Synod of Toulouse directed in 1229 its fourteenth canon against the misuse of Sacred Scripture on the part of the Cathari: "prohibemus, ne libros Veteris et Novi Testamenti laicis permittatur habere" (Hefele, "Concilgesch", Freiburg, 1863, V, 875). Source: The 1913 Catholic Encyclopedia

... the Council of Toulouse (1229) entrusted the Inquisition, which soon passed into the hands of the Dominicans (1233), with the repression of Albigensianism. (Source: The 1913 Catholic Encyclopedia)

1229 - The Inquisition of Toulouse imposed by Albigensian Crusaders forbids laymen to read the Bible. (Source: The People's Chronology.)

3) The Church Council of Tarragona of 1234 AD:

The Council of Tarragona of 1234, in its second canon, ruled that:

"No one may possess the books of the Old and New Testaments in the Romance language, and if anyone possesses them he must turn them over to the local bishop within eight days after promulgation of this decree, so that they may be burned lest, be he a cleric or a layman, he be suspected until he is cleared of all suspicion."(Source: D. Lortsch, Historie de la Bible en France (1910) p.14.)

4) John Wycliffe

John Wycliffe was the very first to translate the entire Bible into English, which he completed in 1382. Wycliffe translated from the Latin Vulgate. One copy of an original manuscript is in the Bodlein Library in Oxford, England. Wycliffe's Bibles were painstakingly reproduced by hand by copyists.

In 1408 the third synod of Oxford, England, banned unauthorized English translations of the Bible and decreed that possession of English translation's had to be approved by diocesan authorities. The Oxford council declared:

"It is dangerous, as St. Jerome declares, to translate the text of Holy Scriptures out of one idiom into another, since it is not easy in translations to preserve exactly the same meaning in all things. We therefore command and ordain that henceforth no one translate the text of Holy Scripture into English or any other language as a book, booklet, or tract, of this kind lately made in the time of the said John Wyclif or since, or that hereafter may be made, either in part or wholly, either publicly or privately, under pain of excommunication, until such translation shall have been approved and allowed by the Provincial Council. He who shall act otherwise let him be punished as an abettor of heresy and error."(Source: The Western Watchman "The Word of God", The English Bible Before the Reformation, page 7.)

At the ecumenical Council of Constance, in 1415, Wycliffe was posthumously condemned by Arundel, the archbishop of Canterbury, as "that pestilent wretch of damnable heresy who invented a new translation of the scriptures in his mother tongue." By the decree of the Council, more that 40 years after his death, Wycliffe's bones were exhumed and publicly burned and the ashes were thrown into the Swift river.

5) William Tyndale
William Tyndale completed a translation of the New Testament from the Greek in 1525, which the church authorities in England tried their best to confiscate and burn. After issuing a revised edition in 1535, he was arrested, spent over a year in jail, and was then strangled and burned at the stake near Brussels in October 6th, 1536. It is estimated today that some 90 percent of the New Testament in the 1611 King James Bible is the work of Tyndale. Tyndale was unable to complete his translation of the Old Testament before his death.

6) Prohibited lists of Books

In an attempt to combat the swiftly rising tide of Protestantism, the Catholic Church began maintaining lists of the prohibited books which were to be confiscated. We find on one of the lists it included:

The Revelation of AntiChrist
An exposition into the VII chapter of the Corinthians.
A disputation of purgatory, made by John Frythe.
The first book of Moses, called Genesis.
A prologue in the second book of Moses, called Exodus.
A prologue in the third book of Moses, called Leviticus.
A prologue in the fourth book of Moses, called Numeri.
A prologue in the fifth book of Moses, called Deuteronomy.
The New Testament in English, with an introduction to the epistle to the Romans.
Jonas in English....Calendar of State Papers V, 18. (Source: The Reformation, by Hans J. Hillerbrand, copyright 1964 by SCM Press Ltd and Harper and Row, Inc., Library of Congress Catalog Card Number 64-15480, page 473.)

It just goes on and on, seems as if there is much strong evidence showing who this AntiChrist that came up was and is still here today.
Even Peter when he was at Rome, knew who this rising mystery 'Babylon' was...
1 Peter 5:13
The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.

2/3rds will be cut off, and the remaining 1/3rd will go through the fire; this remnant will finally accept Jesus as being their Messiah.

Zechariah 13
[1] In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

A fountain for sin? I thought after the cross Jesus is the only way to cleanse sin? Clearly this is set in a pre-cross old covenant time. It's not NT end times prophecy because it does not consider the blood of the Messiah.

The fountain is the blood of Jesus, which the Jews currently reject.

Nothing in the passage suggests that. Nothing in NT prophecy, or any passage showing events of the end times ever shows a mass conversion of Atheist Jews or Judaism Jews to Christ, or any other massive group doing the same. What we find is most of teh world worshiping the beast, and a small group of Christians being persecuted and killed after a good portion of the church committing Apostasy. So, we are shown the church getting smaller and smaller, not larger.

[8] And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
[9] And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

You need to recognize that the fountain was bursting into life at the cross of our Lord.
Jesus died for our sins and promised the Holy Spirit to those who believe.
What more nourishment are you expecting from this foundation.... in the future???

An antichrist that is yet to come is obviously not symbolism for apostate Israel.

1Jn_2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Many AC's at that time, but one SINGULAR that will come in the future. It's still true today. There are many different kinds of ACs and there still is one that will come.

This is incredible how people have come up with all these deceptions to cover the truth. Since the time of the Reformers and even those before them in the early church saw clearly who the Antichrist was and his rise. What is happening to the churches today, are they becoming blind and forgetful of the truth they once saw clearly.
Here is good description of Martin Luther's conviction on this...
"Luther came to think of the pope as the Antichrist because, first, of what the general tradition was about where to find the Antichrist. The Antichrist was someone subverting the Church from within. That was the expectation popularly. And when he saw the papal office and read the histories and saw it subverting the gospel as he understood it, he became convinced that that was the proof that the papal office was the office of the Antichrist, trying to destroy God's church from within.

The pope claimed to be Christ's representative on earth. Luther became convinced that the pope was the devil's representative on earth. And that took graphic form very early in the Reformation ... with one of the most effective pieces of propaganda in the early Reformation: a series of 26 woodcuts that juxtaposed some action in Christ's life with something in the papacy. Christ carrying his cross to be crucified; the pope being carried in his throne on the backs of people ... . Christ washing the feet of the disciples; the pope having his feet kissed. And over and over again, scenes from Christ's life juxtaposed with scenes from the papacy. ... Christ was always humble and serving; the papacy, the pope was always lordly and [lording] over others. Christ is Christ; the pope is Antichrist.

At the end of his life, Martin Luther decided he had to issue his final testament against all the enemies of the gospel. And he published treatises, he encouraged people, but words were not sufficient. He also had to use images. And so he asked his friend, the painter Lucas Cranach, to do a series of woodcuts, and Luther wrote the verses for them. And these woodcuts were designed to show as graphically as possible, to those who could read and those who couldn't, what Luther thought of the papacy. So for example, there's a woodcut which shows the pope on his throne and peasants with their tongues out, their trousers down, farting in the pope's face. Another one shows the pope riding an ass, holding a pile of dung in his hands, saying "The pope is offering a counsel." And another that shows the German emperor lying on the ground with the pope with his foot on the emperor's neck, which shows, once again graphically, Luther's belief that the papacy was trying to control secular authority throughout the world. These were all actions of the Antichrist, and Luther wanted to make it clear what he thought of the pope".... Apocalypticism Explained | Apocalypse! FRONTLINE | PBS

Naw... that's an old belief that did not pan out.

The pope is NOT the final Antichrist that is to come at the end of this world working great signs, wonders, and miracles, raining fire down from heaven to earth in the sight of men. Those signs is about one with SUPERNATURAL POWERS that NO flesh born man can have (except Lord Jesus and Jesus is God The Son).

The early Protestants were persecuted and killed by the Catholic Church, which led to a war between them. The Protestants in Europe fled, many of them to the Americas. My French ancestors were some of them. Because of the persecutions by the Catholic Church against Protestants during the Protestant rebellion, the Protestants then thought Bible prophecy about the final Antichrist was coming to pass. That was back in the 15th - 16th centuries. The Bible prophecies about the Antichrist and Jerusalem did NOT... come to pass, and still today has NOT yet come to pass.

So then, one may see a pope as 'an antichrist', but he can never be The Antichrist of Bible prophecy. There is NO WAY the unbelieving Jews that reject Jesus of Nazareth as The Christ are going to bow in worship to a pope that claims to be Christian. So those who still dwell on the old Reformation beliefs need to put away that silliness idea that it's about a pope, and move on, WATCHING the signs of the end that Lord Jesus gave us to be watching per His Olivet discourse.

Thusly, if you haven't figured it out yet, today's pushing of Reformation beliefs is mostly being used as a deception to get the believer away... from WATCHING the specific SIGNS of the end that Lord Jesus gave His Church.

The anti-christ will be a false messiah to the hard-hearted and blinded Jews; but even as blinded as they are, they would never accept a muslin as their Messiah. As we know, Jesus is their true Messiah to be revealed in season once their eyes and hearts are opened.
Regarding the Jews ? Who controls the Jews ? or who leads them astray one could ask ? well not all Jews are of the same ilk in fact, but what i see of the real problem concerning the So called Jews nowadays is the Talmud !

From what i know of the Talmud i know such to be pure evil ! I have never come across such evil intent, even Hitler does not even go that far as the Talmud does with outright evil insanity !

I believe that the Talmud controls Islam nowadays, The two are as one and the RCC under Pope Frances is one in the same Satanic Anti-Christ grubs.

The Talmud should be exposed for what it truly is.

Now not all Jews are under the Talmud and not all of Islam is under the power of the Talmud, they are just Lost people, but the ones who are influenced by the Talmud are Evil !

Now as for Christianity nowadays it has come under the influence of the Talmud in fact, not all are of the influence of the Talmud but many are nowadays. That's why they are weak ! for they are not truly born again in fact.

If anyone knows anything about Nazis and Communist, is that they were both influenced by the Talmud in fact, for all of the insanity comes directly from the Talmud in fact, it's all their, full on totally insane moronic racial prejudice intent and the intent to undermine all people is a key theme. It's all about keeping people down and undermining people enslaving them in a sewer of depravity.

Nowadays that's all we see being promoted is a Talmud whore peddling depravity and promoting all such, undermining the family unit and undermining who you truly are or have the right to be.

The Talmud works so as too dominate over all, it's works are like that of the Golden Calf Mob and the Vineyard story, where God sent his Son ? for they had undermined the people of God ?

The Talmud has nothing at all to do with God ! such is the workings of Mans madness being a slave to Sin !

No, he said no such thing. He spoke of the Ac, and the spirit of the AC. You are confusing them and mixing the two which erases the AC altogether. One of the most dangerous doctrines in the endtimes either erases the AC or teaches the church won't face him whether through a rapture or that he came in the past. All those false doctrines teach not to be concerned about a future literal person as the antichrist. It's perfect for such a false christ to come, perform miracles and claim to be god and cause the Apostasy to happen. A huge portion of today's church is unprepared for what is coming.

ewq, @Marty fox is correct.

Antichrist has been grossly misunderstood! Antichrist is a spirit, the spirit that works within the unsaved and opposes Christ in the church. The word itself even implies a pseudo-christ or a substitute Christ. It illustrates "a false Christ." Technically, the man of sin and Antichrist are not "exactly" the same, except that one (the spirit) works within the other. Antichrist is the spirit of Satan that opposes Christ, while the man of sin (the sinful man) is man with the spirit of Satan working within him. Just as the Spirit of God works within a "man unto lawfulness," so the spirit of Satan works within "man to lawlessness," or as is Biblically known, the man of sin. In other words, sin = lawlessness and the man who is lawless is he who forsakes God's laws. He is he that will come to rule in the church, not a single man, but every single man of sin (lawlessness).

He is called the man of lawlessness (or the man of sin) collectively simply because that is what he is. The unrighteous man as opposed to the righteous man (Proverbs 13:5). Thus the sinful or lawless man and the spirit of Antichrist are the same only as one resides within the other. Clearly, this is how Satan rules the kings of the earth, and this is how the Apostle Paul could declare that there were many Antichrists even in his day. Because Antichrist is the sinful man, of which there were many.

1st John 2:18-19
  • "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
  • They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."
There were many men with the spirit of antichrist (men of sin) in Paul's day, and they were in the church, but fell away because they were not truly of the Christ. They were of the spirit of the anti (in place of) Christ, and that is why the apostle Paul says "they were not truly of them and went out from them." They were not truly of the spirit of Christ, but of the spirit of the pseudo christ, which is why they chose to forsake the church.

Many Christians wonder how the prophecy can be that "Antichrist should come," if Paul says that he was already there at that time? The answer is simple, because the SPIRIT (not flesh of man) of Satan was at work in the world within man deceiving (witnessed by Paul saying they went out from them) some even then, but Christ had also bound the spirit Satan by His cross that it was restrained in its power so that His church could be built from the Gentiles/Nations. In other words, though Antichrist was going forth as a roaring lion deceiving some, he couldn't yet come in the fullness of his spiritual power to deceive the nations (Revelation 20) "UNTIL" after the period God says the nations were not to be deceived (Revelation 20:3) as the church was built in this millennial or 1000 year reign of Christ.

After the millennial reign of the nations being set free from spiritual bondage or all Gentiles is coming in, then this spirit will be loosed from its chains to freely go forth in full power to deceive the nations again and gather the wicked to assault the camp of the saints.

Another thing to take note of is the word "anti." In our day, the term anti is generally understood to mean to be against something or someone. But the literal Greek word [anti] in scripture more accurately denotes something that is 'in place of' another thing. As a substitute. True, it can rightly be translated 'anti' (as we might understand it) because by implication it can mean to be in opposition, and it is often used in that context. In other words, by extension it denotes that which is opposite by being set a substitute (in place of) the true. In this way it is a counterfeit set 'against' the original. For example, if we have something "in place of" the truth, it is a lie. Therefore those who believe in telling the truth, would be anti or opposed to lies. Or again, that which is "in place of justice" would be injustice. Therefore those who substitute injustice for justice are 'anti' or in opposition to justice. This is how this Greek word 'by extension' can mean anti. But its root meaning is "in place of" or as a substitute. a False Christ.

This word [anti] as applied to Christ is more clearly defining a substitute Christ, or that which is 'instead of' Christ. Therefore it is a synonym for "false Christ" or pseudo Christ, a substitute for the true. Those with the spirit of Antichrist are those who come as the church with the spirit of a false Christ. For example, they are professing Christians who are not truly Christians or not truly saved. As the apostle Paul says (1st John 2:18-19), they went out from us "because" they were not of us. They did not have the Spirit of Christ which would truly make them one of them.

2nd Corinthians 11:13-15
  • "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
  • And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
  • Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."
These are the ministers of Satan coming "appearing like ministers of Christ." They were the Antichrists or false Christs of Paul's day, as they are of our day. The difference is, in the latter days, these are those that will MULTIPLY GREATLY, INCREASE, or ABOUND, and this will be near the time of Christ's return. Then will the spirit Antichrist be revealed through men (false prophets, christs and people deceived by them) in all his power to gather together the Gentiles against the camp of the saints. Those men with the spirit of the pseudo Christ, who worship a substitute Christ in the spirit of disobedience so that the sinful man is then ruling in the Holy Temple (God's house) in place of God.

So the term "anti-Christ" as it is often understood to be "ONE" personage that is supposed to come, is a misnomer. The Bible defines it as the spirit that is prophesied to come, and yet was already in the world at the time the apostle Paul was inspired to write the text. That hardly qualifies as one man you are looking for @ewq1938. Not even one Muslim man nonsense, @John839 either!

That doesn't even come from the bible. How is that correct?

Many ACs existed back then! Real people, and one was still to come. Others wrote of this person, using different names such as beast and man of sin.

1Jn_2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

"he is antichrist". Again, not a spirit but people who are shadows of the AC to come.

No. Satan's spirit is in the visible form of men. There are many antichrists because there are many men who have the spirit of Satan or spirit of disobience. But if you think there will be a person of Satan HImself embodied in one man, then no. Again the SPIRIT of Satan is the SPIRIT of lies, deceit, and hypocrisy that dwells within unsaved man. The spirit of Antichrist is the spirit of the pseudo-Christ, or more aptly put, the spirit of the "substitute" Christ. This spirit is of false Christians opposed to the true Christ of the Bible, but who worship a Pseudo-Christ. The word translated [anti] means "instead of," and in the context of antichrist means that which is in place of Christ, a Pseudo Christ. Since scripture is perfectly clear that there are many antichrists, and that they have been in the world since the days of the Apostles, and that they are those who "turn away" from the true Christ. e.g.:

1st John 2:18-20
  • "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
  • They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
  • But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things."
In other words, they fell away or apostatized because they were never truly regenerated in the Holy Spirit. We have the unction or anointing of the Holy Spirit, therefore we cannot be deceived when we have this spirit of the Antichrist rule us. Clearly, antichrists are those with the spirit of Satan who fall away from the truth (and thus Christ), and they will believe the adversary's lies. Those people who reject God's truth and accept Satan's lies have this "Spirit of Antichrist," and it has been in the world for ages, and rules over the false prophets and teachers who have succumbed to unrighteousness, disobedience, and lawlessness. Thus we are warned to "try" the spirits.

1st John 4:1-3
  • "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
  • Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
  • And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
This is why we are commanded to test (try) the spirits, so that we are not deceived or deluded by them to believe their lies. We try the Spirits by comparing their words, with the Bible, the Word of God. The spirits that fail this test are antichrists. They are professing Christians who do not have the Spirit of truth, and so teach falsely to deceive "even the elect" if that were possible. But it's not.

Again per 1st John 2:18, if there are many Anti-Christs (and God says there are), then by God's authority there is no one Anti-Christ as so many professing Christians teach. The Anti-Christ spirit is of Satan, not a particular man. Likewise, if Anti-Christ is a false Christ, then there is no one false Christ. ..also confirmed by Scripture.

Mathew 24:24
  • "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
If there are MANY false christs (and God says there are), then there is obviously no one false Christ as many professing Christians teach. Likewise, if the Anti-Christ is the man of sin (the sinful man), then obviously there is no one man of sin. The man of sin ruling in God's holy Temple is the sinful man with the spirit of Satan. Not "A" (as in one) sinful man. But many false christs - those with the spirit of antichrist. Selah!

Another here says the same thing. You two must be part of the same denomination/sect. What is it called? Is this SDA?

Anyways, the man of sin is one man. It is not ok to change it to many men. Paul wrote about him as a singular man and John did also when he said, "antichrist shall come". A singular person, coming in the future.

You need to recognize that the fountain was bursting into life at the cross of our Lord.
Jesus died for our sins and promised the Holy Spirit to those who believe.
What more nourishment are you expecting from this foundation.... in the future???
The Jews do not see the blood of Jesus to be the fountain to cleanse them of sin; but once the 1/3rd remnant are taken through the fire, they will then recognize Jesus as their Messiah, the One who shed His blood for them.

The 1/3rd remnant of the Jews will receive Jesus and will mourn for Him, the One whom they pierced.

Zechariah 12
[9] And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
[10] And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

So all the generations since the cross just are lost and unsaved but the final generation, only 1/3 of them get to be saved?

Oh, and mourning is something the unsaved do. It's not a conversion:

Mat_24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Believe whatever you wish, but it's clear that Zechariah 12 is referencing the end of days. 2/3rds will be cut off and the 1/3rd will go through the fire; this remnant will look to Jesus as their Messiah, the One whom they pierced.

Zechariah 12

It appears that many today dont want the truth, they want to follow deception and twist and turn what history shows us, and the valuable teaching of the the many who gave their lives and stood on the truth. The itching ears are rising up...

2 Timothy 4

3For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. 4So they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

'Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.'
They were all wrong.
The Antichrist is islamic.
Babylon is Israel.

Don't forget, the bible says the Antichrist will destroy Babylon. So it doesn't make sense if Babylon is rome and the Antichrist is a pope. Why should the pope destroy rome?

But if the Antichrist is islamic and Babylon is Israel it makes a lot sense, for the most hated nation in the islamic world is Israel/USA
