No, the reference is to Daniel 7, the 4 beasts. It says the 4th beast is destroyed and the other 3 beasts live on.

You are conflating and mixing two separate prophecies. The king of the first kingdom in Daniel 7 is not identified.

Beasts 1-4 are historic. Beast 4, the fourth kingdom, will be manifested in the end times, as the feet of iron mixed with clay.

Scripture does not say that shall happen. In Daniel 7, the 4th beast is destroyed and there is NOTHING about it manifesting in the end times. In chp 7 the beast is destroyed at a judgment of God and the saints possess an eternal kingdom. There isn't anything further after that. The 4th beast cannot "manifest" again.

Parts of it strong, other parts of it weak, a description of the EU.

The dream that Nebuchadnezzar had in Daniel 2 and the vision that Daniel had in Daniel 7 both end the same way. That of the kingdom of God becoming the ruling kingdom here on earth - which will happen at Jesus's return.

Therefore Daniel 2 and Daniel 7 combine as part of the eschatological understanding as prophesied in Daniel 12:9-10.

The beast that comes out of the sea in Revelation 13 is the fourth kingdom that Daniel in Daniel 7, also saw coming out of the sea. The ten horns that Daniel saw in Daniel 7 on that beast kingdom are the same ten horns on the beast out of the sea kingdom in Revelation 13.

The mortally wounded but healed head of the seven heads on the beast out of the sea kingdom is the little horn person as he has become the beast-king, i.e. king of the Revelation 13 beast out of the sea kingdom.

The five evolving stages of the person....

the little horn (of Daniel 7, Daniel 8)
the prince that shall come (the Revelation 6:2 rider on the white horse messiah figure)
the Antichrist (the rider on the white horse given a crown - that as the king of Israel, perceived messiah)

Did Daniel write about the AC figure and another person who assists him? When Paul wrote of the man of sin, commonly believed to be the AC, did he also write of this other supportive person?

Yes Daniel did, Paul was not given to Prophesy per se, he was ADDING STUFF UP, John was given the Prophestic Endings. Paul read what we did about Jesus Matt. 24"15 quotes and assumed the AC was the AoD guy, he is not, Rev. 13 proves this, as does Dan. 9:27 if one knows how to deduce the facts.

So, Daniel could not be given the understanding John was given in Rev. 13 and elsewhere, that there would be a False Prophet, so God did give Daniel the answer, but we have to deduce the facts.

QUESTION ewq, was Daniel given the Little Horn/Anti-Christ as being the 1260 Little Horn? Answer is no, Daniel was only given a NUMBER and told Israel would have 1260 days of Tribulation and then ALL THE WONDERS would end. Daniel never new the Messiah (Jesus would end those wonders per se, put after seeing the Dreams in Dan. 2 and 7 he probably deduced that rather easily, as we did, but Daniel had NO CLUE what the 1335 and 1290 were, but I do, both are THAT MANY DAYS until ALL OF THESE WONDERS or THINGS END (as Daniel in vs. 8 asks) Thus the 2nd coming is 1290 days from the AoD, thus the AoD can not be the Beast but is the False Prophet, so why was Daniel not told this straight up, but John was? Because if Daniel had wrote that a Jewish High Priest betrays his Nation and Jewish brothers, they would have done what King Herod did trying to stop King Jesus, they would have killed every other Jewish High Priest so God only told it as a NUMBER, the 1260. But John was give the facts that this would be a False Prophet, so what was the difference? Well, by 95ish AD Jerusalem had already fell and there was no Temple, nor High Priest to kill. The False Prophet of Rev. 13 is a Jewish High Priest who FORBIDS Jesus Worship in "His Temple" 1290 days before Jesus' 2nd coming but also 30 days before the DOTL/Beast shows up as Israel's conqueror. How do Israel know to REPENT? Because the Two-witnesses are the coming 1335 Blessing who turn Israel back unto God.

So, w are told in Dan. 12 about the False Prophets EVENTS, and about the Little Horns EVENTS and the coming Two-witnesses EVENTS, we just have to deduce what all three Numbers MEAN?
