Hard to beat Bing, LoL. His voice was distinctly American, yet there was something very warm about it that made him endearing.
Oh, my goodness. Here's one I find stunning. It depicts an onlooker singing Noels as she beholds the entire Biblical narrative taking place, beginning from even before it when she sees a flower in bloom, and comes to realize it foreshadowed the birth of Christ.
They only use the Chorus, the 1st, and the 3rd verses here, but the lyrics to the entire song are included below. Middle French from the 15th century.

My dad had that very record! I remember sitting around the hi-fi (you young’ns probably don’t know what that is) listening to Bing after Christmas Eve service!
This one was on the radio the other day. I found it inspiring:
I always loved Bing Crosby music. I still call up his old songs, Christmas and other, periodically and listen. My mother, gone now some 15 years, loved him.

Anyway, I would like to visit Vegas and area sometime; and the Christmas lights there are sure to be impressive...
We can't do secular music here? I will remove this if folks find it problematic.
This song just makes me cry for days. The memories, the excitement of going home. I should've relished that time more than I did. I'd give anything to go back for awhile.

Oh my.
My compliments to whoever organized that flash mob. That section of Messiah where Handel builds up the tension and then let's it all go at once never fails to move me. "King of Kings, and Lord of Lords!" Oh my.
I think the landscape artist for the Christmas choir video is Thomas Kincaide, the "Painter of Light", one of whose works graces the wall of my home office / spare bedroom. @Curtis, is that correct? He's one of my favorite artists.
Two examples of what I meant when I wrote that Christians should create beautiful, God-honoring art.
I own this concert on DVD, and play it almost every year. The violin player (Máiréad Nesbitt) is very talented. On some songs she is playing and dancing at the same time, which is rather tough to do well.
Anyway, excellent concert. I think the cast of Celtic Women is different now, but they're always good.
Also very nice. The sound inside a cathedral is different. Much grander than with a normal concert.
I like this song, and this is my thread, so don't worry about what any of the other "folks" find problematic, Lol.
