Accusing someone of being black is a lie if they are not black, etc. ....

Yes. A man literally turned into a sea shell.

Yes. Humor literally causes people to die laughing.

Accusing someone of being black is a lie if they are not black, etc. Instead of calling a person a "no good deadbeat" to their face even if it is true, is the same thing as calling them a "black sheep". That is not lying because "black sheep" is a pictorial way of saying "no good deadbeat".

Perhaps it is a lie, if the black sheep was actually kind and nice.

I tell sinners that these Biblical comparisons are not metaphors, but direct comparisons.

Christians are causing linguists to deny the Bible, per their definition of a "sign".

Some people actually think that the entire book of Revelation is metaphoric and not a physical reality defined and emphasized by a few minor signs.

They are dangerous to our salvation because they specialize in redefining scripture per their taste buds.

Those folks are preterists etc., and practice replacement theology on various groups and levels.

Beware of the Biblical redefinitionists.
