Faith and being saved is by believing in the rising of Jesus Christ from the dead by God the Father.
Faith isn't by believing in God. Faith is believing in God. Faith, by definition, means belief in God, in Jesus Christ, in the gospel. They are the same word, the noun πίστις [pistis], in the Greek. The verb form is πιστεύω [pisteuō} meaning to believe, to have faith.

When one become born again, one is forgiven of all sin and cleanse from all unrighteousness. A new creation with the Spirit dwelling in them, yet in the flesh they will be tempted in all ways and manners like Jesus.

For it is written, 'For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.'
We born again are with infirmities, so we come boldly to the Throne of grace of our Lord our Great High Priest for help. For He did say in the Gospel, "Your sins are forgiven, sin no more, or something worst may happen to you."

True believers do work out their salvation in fear and trembling, as they also have 1 John 1:9 to turn in their shortcomings. Therefore, gradually abiding and a doer in the teaching of Christ, one may excel to sin no more.

As the saying of man goes something like this, 'Practice makes it perfect.'

Jesus did say that the path to the Kingdom is narrow and the way is very difficult to follow, where only a few make it.

And is written, 'If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.'
If believers say, we have no sin, deceive themselves, and the truth is not in them.

Finally is written, 'If we say that we have not sinned, we make HIM a liar, and HIS Word is not in us.'
Again, if believers say, we have not sinned, they make GOD a liar, and HIS Word is not in them.

So, why the hypocrisy to claim that one is walking in the Spirit and have no sin??

That's true!! When a Christian claim that he is walking in the Spirit, he does not sin (1 John 3:9).

When believers first become saved, they are saved in their spirit essence only while still living in this world. When they die however, in their spirit essence they go to be with the Lord in heaven, but their bodies go back to the dust until Jesus resurrects their bodies on the last day, then and only then will their salvation become complete.

This is the reason Romans 7:14-25 is so crucial if misunderstood!! @Behold

Reader, if you are Born again...

1.)
You have a eternal relationship with God your Father... that is based on Jesus becoming all your sin, and then God giving you the new birth, after He deals with all your sin.
See, God can't join Himself Spiritually to a sinner.....So, Christ has to deal with all your sin, and THEN God will birth you as His "Born again" Son/Daughter.

See, its sin that prevents you and me from eternal spiritual union with God.
So, God resolves this for Eternity, through The Cross of Christ.

The Cross of Christ, is the means that forever removes your sin, so that you can become God's Eternal "Son or Daughter", "In Christ".

All your sin has to be dealt with by Christ's eternal Sacrifice., and is, once you BELIEVE in Jesus, and receive "The Gift of Righteousness".

If you read 2 Corinthians 5:19 and John 3:17, you'll read that God was in Christ, not holding your sin against you, anymore.

Romans 4:8 teaches you the same.

Why?
Because God Can't judge you for sin, when Jesus has died for them All, 2000 yrs ago.

2.) Reader..
This Sacrifice of Christ, took the law off of you, and put you here....>= "not under the Law, but under Grace"..

"Christ is the END of the LAW, for righteousness, to/for EVERYONE who BELIEVES">..

So, the law, that could judge you as a sinner and your deeds as sin, is GONE from you, if you are truly born again.
YOu are no longer UNDER The Law.

You are here..>"not under the law.......but under Grace"...

So, now you are under God's Grace, and that defines you as this one....

= "As Christ is.......so are the born again... in THIS World"..

And Christ has no sin, and you are "IN Christ"...

You have become as born again... a = "New Creation in Christ" and "old things are passed away"..

That's your sin.... that is the "passed away".

A.) "God hath made JESUS..TO BE.SIN....for us""", and we become "the Righteousness of God, in Christ ... Forever.

Welcome to Salvation.. : Its a GIFT...

3.) And notice.....= ""The GIFTS and callings of God, are without Repentance""... = God will never take it back....you can't ever lose it... because Your Eternal Salvation is not based on you. Its based on The Cross of Christ..

Now look at this..

"God who started (His) Salvation, in all the born again.. will HIMSELF, be FAITHFUL to Complete it"..

Welcome to : Salvation..

Its "The Gift of Salvation"" and "The Gift of Righteousness"..

Reader...The main error of most believers, is that they dont understand their Salvation..

They are trying to confess to keep what can't be lost, while they try to earn what can't be earned.

SALVATION is a GIFT.
Its Eternal.
You can't stop being Born Again.

4.) "there are none good".. "all have sinned"..

So, we Go to the Cross, so that God can give us HIS Righteousness, and we become born again, as "The righteousness of God, in Christ"..

= God came down here as Jesus, Virgin born., to deal with all your sin, and give you His Righteousness, as "The Gift of Salvation".

God is HOLY, and God is Righteous, and God told us.."be Holy as I am Holy"..

A.) We can't do that......as "all have sinned"......so, we go the Cross and Jesus "becomes our sin" and we become "Christ's Righteousness" as a "born again.. "new creation" "In Christ... "made righteous"..= "One with God".

Welcome to Salvation: Its a GIFT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reader...

What we are doing is giving God Credit for giving us His Salvation, and that Salvation is our Righteousness.

Real Christians, who understand The Cross, are not trying to perform for God, as if He requires it to keep us.

Remember.....Its God's "Gift of Righteousness", and to be born again, is proof you have it.
Not only did we need Jesus to die and be resurrected....that’s the only way we can receive His seed into our hearts, now ,that seed is His Living seed the Spirit....His Living seed is what gives us eternal life and saves a Born Again from eternal damnation.....without that Living seed of Jesus....one still has the inherited seed of the first Adam, therefore still in that sin nature.

A Born Again as Gods word says, has been Born Again of imperishable/ incorruptible seed..".we have the new nature of the second Adam who was Jesus....we will flourish and grow because we received the “Living” word of God into our hearts, when His Spirit gives birth to our spirit.....Gods Living word that we receive when Spirit gives birth to spirit, lines up with His written word.....that’s how we know we are Born Again, only by His Living word.

That seed is Alive and Active, the seed that we receive is the witness of Jesus the Holy Spirit.....we must be Born Of The Spirit....then our spirit comes Alive...Spirit gives birth to spirit.

1 John 3

King James Version

3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)

1 Peter 1

King James Version

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

it is achieving nothing, it is showing my faith compared to anothers and now I can stop thanks.
Human faith is no faith.

Faith is a gift from God.

1 Corinthians 12

King James Version

12 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Psalm 12:5 FOR THE OPPRESSION OF THE POOR, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. KNOWLEDGE PUFFETH up, but charity edifieth.

1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and ALL KNOWLEDGE; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I AM NOTHING.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; CHARITY vaunteth not itself, IS NOT PUFFED UP,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

That's yesterday, we are to do this in faith:

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Talking to yourself again, I see. You really should stop that. I makes you look a bit silly.

That's true!! When a Christian claim that he is walking in the Spirit, he does not sin (1 John 3:9).
To this verse, noted, believer are not to sin, yes, Jesus Himself said, as a man is forgiven of his sins, to sin no more. But my quoted verse are for believers who sin, where there is redemption to try once more and sin no more. Verse 8 from yours 9, speaks about of those who continue to commit sin, and they belong to the devil, read the context.
When believers first become saved, they are saved in their spirit essence only while still living in this world.
While they are still also in the body, hence through the Spirit 'do' mortify the deeds of the body, they shall live. This is because day to day they are with the world and the things of the word. Like everyone else, they can be tempted by the devil and tempted by the deeds of their own body.
When they die however, in their spirit essence they go to be with the Lord in heaven,
You do not have a verse to back this claim of yours, so stop the heresy.

They are said to be 'asleep', and have not ascended to the Lord. Only at the trumpet sound, the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we not asleep, shall be changed together. (1Corinthians 15:52)

'For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so we ever be with the Lord.' 1 Thessalonians 4:16&17)
but their bodies go back to the dust until Jesus resurrects their bodies on the last day, then and only then will their salvation become complete.
What about bodies of saint burnt to ashes, especially of the 'Reformers', with what body will they resurrect in??
This is the reason Romans 7:14-25 is so crucial if misunderstood!! @Behold
So crucial, in the Spirit serve GOD and in the body serve sin ?? It's like is okay to serve GOD and mammon at the same time.
To God Be The Glory
Which God ??

Babes in Christ, before you learn to walk, learn to crawl first. so you will not grow up the other way around.

Knowledge and faith is nothing without charity..

2 Peter 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

Here is how and why Paul did things in reality. ( not in misunderstanding)

Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience VOID TO OFFENCE toward God, and toward men.

2 Corinthians 6:3 GIVING NO OFFENCE IN ANY THING, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
6 By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

Here we go again, avoid my reply with quote opposed to yours, and with no explanation in respond from your side.

Now, if you're without sin like Apostle Paul running the race, we're happy for you.

But, i do sin, and have supporting verses to workout my own salvation in fear and trembling.
