Hey guys, even though I'm not a huge breakfast person I decided to create this fun thread where we can have virtual breakfast anytime of the day and just chat about basically any old thing. We have virtual doughnuts, pancakes, bacon, OJ, coffee, Poptarts, toast, and Toaster Strudels. (Cause that's what I like for breakfast except for the coffee lol :D) It's one hundred percent free! of charge! :D

That's OK because my wife is fixing something right now that is not virtual. My computer does not emit such delightful aromas!

Well, I just can't wait until tonight where I breathe in the delightful aroma of Pizza Hut. :D

No Pizza Hut today. She is preparing what she calls 'Surf and Turf' with one primary ingredient from sea [shrimp] and another from land [steak].

But... I always love the traditional American style of breakfast...anytime, anyplace!

Not a huge shrimp fan,.. but I do love steak and fish. Grouper is my favorite. Down in Florida they make em freshly caught and they're delicious when they cook em up right. :D

I passed through Florida once quickly on the way to Bogota and again many years later to visit Disney World. No fish restaurants either time... but when I was still living with my mother periodically she would take the family to Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey Calif [30 miles from home] and it was always great to eat the freshly caught and cooked fish there.

Years later when we were young marrieds, my wife and I would go to a little place special to us at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco and as we loved their fish dinners. Likely all that will remain for us are those past good memories. From Oklahoma a trip to either Monterey or San Francisco is unlikely at our age and in consideration of the travel restraints these days.

My wife was born there in San Francisco but has no desire to go back again... unless it were for a freshly caught fish dinner...LOL!

That reminds me @amadeus, this summer CB is taking a virtual trip to Disneyland and you're more than welcome to attend. :) And all of this talk about fish, and now Disney, I just had to play this song. :D (Oh and real men are not afraid to say that they enjoy The Little Mermaid so if you do don't be afraid,.. I know some grown men who enjoy it just as much as I do. :) )

When we were married at the San Jose State College [now University] Chapel as I had graduated from there and we went to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA for our honeymoon. I remember that the hotel had thick curtains that completely blocked the sunlight. We were tired from our trip down there so we took a nap in the afternoon. When my wife woke up she cried out seriously to me, "We missed Tinkerbell". She thought it was already the middle of the night because of the dark room. We had not missed Tinkerbell and went out forthwith to take care of that little item. I was 28 and my wife was 21. That was in 1972.

I love a good peanut butter granola. My wife makes it periodically for us. It is one of those very special treats, which I have not seen duplicated elsewhere.

Here's another good version of that song, and yes I love Tinkerbell too. :D The Secret of The Wings is my favorite. :)

Never heard of that John, I like it with Greek yogurt and fruits like blueberries or strawberries or even a banana.

We have it with only milk. When the granola is still warm from the oven it is at its very best, but its good cold as well.
