And that is the key-"CIRCUMSTANTIAL". Hard evidence like eyewitnesses and the fact that Russia controlled the cities and had roaming patrols in those cities make it very very very daming against Russia. Millions of refugees speak of Russian atrocities. Ukrainian soldiers are visibly helping their citizens flee and prvde them with materials they have to help them cope. While anything is possible the hard evidence speaks against Ukraine doing this to its own people.
Ronald, try listening to me here. No one else you are debating in these discussion is demanding "hard evidence" before they will change their view because they are sensible enough to know that it will with almost absolutely certainty never exist, for either side. Yet you alone keep falling back on arguing that it must be provided or your opponents have no argument. But then when questioned to provide any evidence for some of the claims you make, you provide a list of sources that are all highly compromised, and which in no way whatsoever provide the kind of "hard evidence" you keep demanding of everyone else.
When Ziggy asked you where she could find proof to the effect that Vladimir Putin wrote and publicly stated that He is going to reconstitute the Old Soviet Empire, your response was to post this:

when I have more time I will look for more direct speech and not just commentaries. It coming out of Russia makes it hard to get large direct quotes of his speeches.
Ronald, you are citing among others here sources like the BBC, NBC, and Newsweek, with a dash of "leaked sources" that could be making up anything under the sun. This is not "hard evidence." They are not even providing full and direct quotes. They are simply taking a few words from things Putin said, lifting them out of whatever context they are coming from, and then repackaging them for the reader in a way that THEY want them to be interpreted.
Don't you see the double standard that you are trying to apply to everyone else in these discussions while absolving yourself of ever needing to provide the same thing?
