Let's see what the Revelation 16 Chapter about the VIALS actually says...
Rev 16
16 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
When do deceived men on earth get that "mark of the beast" and "worshipped his image"? That's "great tribulation" timing when those deceived men do that false worship of the beast. So the 'beast' is in power on earth at this point of the 1st Vial. That SETS... the timing of these Vials. No rapture yet at this point. The Church will go through the Seals, Trumpets, and Vials until Jesus comes on the very last day of this world.
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
Spiritual sense, the "sea" per Rev.17:15 represent "peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues". The type of death for the "great tribulation" by the Antichrist is a spiritual death of the soul via deception with worshiping him in place of Jesus Christ. This is the 2nd Vial, and shows the 'beast' is in power.
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
Think with your spiritual eyes and ears, not your flesh. What were the "waters" representing in Rev.17? That same idea of peoples and nations above. This 3rd Vial represents a famine, like what the waters of blood did in Egypt in the time of Moses. But apply this spiritually for the end, as it is symbolic of the Antichrist's false worship deception as he will play Messiah.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, "Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because Thou hast judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and Thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Thy judgments."
And truly that above is so. If the deceived don't care about the Letter which God Himself gave us so we would understand this present world and our part in it, and they instead follow Satan's children of darkness, then they deserve God's judgment of Wrath.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, Which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give Him glory.
So far, all these Vials happen during the time of the end.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
Thus the "beast" is still in power on that 5th Vial. Great Tribulation timing.
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
That 6th Vial is timed with the 6th Trumpet - 2nd Woe period when the angels bound at the river Euphrates are loosed upon the earth. The Euphrates river served as a border in Old Testament times between Israel and the pagan nations.
Those "miracles" the "another beast" of Rev.13 works to deceive the whole world. So this 6th Vial is especially about when the coming Antichrist-false-Messiah will appear in Jerusalem for the end of this world.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done."
Verse 15 is Jesus still warning His faithful Church that is still on earth through these Vials. Jesus marks the timing with His declaring He comes "as a thief", which points to the "day of the Lord" that Paul and Peter said will come "as a thief in the night" on the "day of the Lord". That means the LAST DAY of this world, which that final 7th Vial will have revealed.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

That WRATH by God is the "wrath" which Apostle Paul was pointing to in the 1 Thessalonians 5 Chapter, where Paul said those in Christ are not appointed to that "wrath", which is from GOD upon the beast and the wicked.
Now if you listen to the clowns that preach a false Pre-trib Rapture and fly away to the false-Messiah that comes first, then the above cup of Wrath from God will certainly be upon you. So be careful who you listen to.
