Show me where the Bible teaches Eternal Security (Once Saved Always Saved).
oh, lets, see. Do you believe Jesus when He says it? John 10:28-29 - And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

The Words in the Bible begin with Gen and End with Revelation.
That's how you know where the bible starts and stops.
And....WHERE in "the Bible" does it say this?

Plus, the Bible has added books/deleted books over the years. The KJV has only been in existence for a few hundred years. The "Catholic" version has been in existence (with other books that the Protestants removed from the Bible) for over 1500 years.
"come to believe in what".....is this issue., as if you believe wrong, you'll go to Hell, not heaven, while you believe you're going to Heaven.
And a large part of what you "believe" that is "cult of mary" Theology, is not found in a bible.
So, its best that you dont pretend to be a bible believer, when the Catholic Cult does not view the bible as its final authority.
Since Catholics don't believe that God NEVER spoke to anyone after Revelation, then no...of course any veneration to Mary won't be found "in the bible", PLUS, while the bible was being written, Mary wasn't dead yet.

The RCC believes that the Bible IS the final authority. HOWEVER, not it's ONLY authority, especially about issues that weren't addressed in the Bible.
This also happens in the Mormon Church., as they read it outloud, also.

So what have you proven?
That Catholics DO use the Bible as its authority. The poster I was responding to said that Catholics "don't read the Bible". Obviously, that's WRONG.
Mary died about 11 yrs after Jesus rose from the Dead.
And you know this....how? It's not IN THE BIBLE!!! Where are you getting your information from?
Paul and John lived 30-50 yrs after Mary died. Peter lived about 20 yrs after Mary died.
Once again, WHERE in the Bible does it say WHEN Mary died?
Paul gave the body of Christ all the Church Doctrinem and has NOTHING TO SAY about Mary...or praying to Mary, or Praying to Saints, who are dead.
Look again....
John and Peter are silent regarding Mary's importance, and silent about "praying to Mary" or to Dead Saints.
Jesus wasn't "silent" about it.
Mary wouldn't have been "prayed to" because she was still alive while the Bible was being written.
As for "dead saints"...Moses and Elijah were BOTH dead when Jesus conversed with them.
Try to understand that if the Gospel requires WATER Baptism, and Paul is preaching the Gospel, and Paul says nothing about water, then what does this clearly show us?
What did JESUS say?
And WHY did people in ACTS continue with water baptism...if it's so "unimportant"?
See, Paul's Gospel is "Believe and Receive".. "Trust in Christ for the forgiveness of your sin".. ."all who call on the Name of Jesus (believing) shall be Saved".
So, Paul's Gospel shows us that Water Baptism, is not related to being Born again.....but Paul's Gospel IS related to being born again, as its "the Preaching of the Gospel, (the Cross) that is the Power of God.. unto Salvation, for everyone who BELIEVES"..... = no Water Baptism required for Salvation.

The Gospel is "Jesus on the Cross"........ or "the Preaching of the Cross"...........not get wet, get dunked, and go to heaven".
Jesus TELLS his Apostles (after his resurrection to "Go and BAPTIZE ALL NATIONS, in the name of the Father and the Son...."

Seems pretty clear to me.
There is literal water baptism....and its Symbolic and a public confession, where the person is symbolically being lowered into the water as the old man, and then coming out of the water as risen in newness of Life.. as the New Man.
...Its symbolic.
Nothing says that Baptism is about "public confession".

Yes, there are extra-biblical documents about Baptism...and if water isn't around, it's ok to baptize with what limited water there was available.
Whereas being Baptized INTO the Spirit of God, is to become "IN Christ".. and "ONE with God" and that is to become Born... again.
This spiritual baptism is God's Holy Spirit BIRTHING the believer's Spirit as "IN CHRIST", and "one with God".
Yes, and Catholics DO believe they are "born again."

I guess God will decide...

Jesus is not the "Eucharist".
Its the "cult of Mary" that has overemphasised "taking communion".

Its literally symbolic.....but you are taught that you are "eating Jesus" and you are not.

Is it not symbolic as Scripture clearly shows. Ignorance wont be a defense

So what of Judas Iscariot? He has eternal life with the father.

Show me where the Bible teaches Eternal Security (Once Saved Always Saved).

MY
Bible teaches that salvation is a process:
Initial Salvation
– God give us the initial grace to believe and be baptized.
1 Pet. 3:21, Rom. 5:1-2, Rom. 8:24-25, Eph. 2:5–8)

Ongoing Sanctification
God is sanctifying us throughout our life as
we cooperate with his grace.
1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, 2 Cor. 7:1, Phil. 2:12, Heb 12:14

Final Sanctification/Salvation
– We die and go to heaven having endured to the end.
Matt. 24:13, Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–
15

My point is NOT that shou don’t need to know Him personally.

My point was to the Sola Scripturists who ONLY believe in what the Bible says and nothing else. This is an impossible way to live if you believe the things I listed – like accepting Jesus as
“personal Lord and Savior” . . .
Interesting...the ones who protest the Catholic beliefs about Mary...and how we 'worship' her, are also holding on tightly to their KJV Bibles.

Could it be that they're ALSO practicing 'worship' of that book...and NOT the spirit?

Well, you might not believe me, but I'll tell you. Jesus told me to read His words, yes, those in red. I read the Apostle Paul's epistles too, but Jesus means it, if he tells me to read His words, after all, Jesus is the Word of God. I found many verses I understand now that I didn't. I believe Jesus, so that is Sola Scripturist. I know Jesus personally, I wish you did too.

Well, what you posted is not actuallly True, regarding the "cult of Mary".. as the Cult of Mary, teaches that the bible is a work in progress, and that their Church Fathers, and any currrent Pope's, teachings are a sort of "completing the bible".
Not even close. The Bible is STILL an "open book". No Church Father OR Pope has ever claimed that "their" teachings/interpretations to be "completing" the Bible.
So, that's a problem., as its a cult setting itself as the Authority above the Word of God.
Nope.

Please note that we do not require anyone be a member of any church to be considered a Christian. We consider...

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10

The two big deals...

1. Confess the Lord Jesus
2. Believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead

And... You are saved! We accept you as a Christian. From there we would encourage you to grow and to study the material you feel God has laid in your lap. It is my beliefs that the general Christian congregations are seven (My interpretation of the seven churches of Revelation)...

1. Messianic
2. Oriental Orthodox
3. Greek Orthodox
4. Catholic
5. Protestant
6. Methodist and all the offsprings
7. Charismatic and all the offsprings

Catholic church... I do not wish to join the congregation... But I do wish them and their Pope well. My main issues is with my own denomination... Pentecostal Holiness... In which it is so hard to find good evangelist and senior pastors these days.
Thank you!

In the words of Rodney King, "Can we all get along?"

The "Catholic" version has been in existence (with other books that the Protestants removed from the Bible) for over 1500 years.

The Catholic bible is the "Douay Rheims" and its Satanic.

It teaches that "water washes away your sin" which denies that Jesus's Cross is the "blood atonement.

Since Catholics don't believe that God NEVER spoke to anyone after Revelation,

The Bible does not say...
So, we don't know.

The RCC believes that the Bible IS the final authority. HOWEVER, not it's ONLY authority, especially about issues that weren't addressed in the Bible.

"""""'issues that are not addressed by the bible'.""""""

Good luck selling that "cult of mary" nonsense.

That Catholics DO use the Bible as its authority.

Not True.

In fact its "Catholic Traditions" and "Church Fathers writings " that are considered the final authority.

Once again, WHERE in the Bible does it say WHEN Mary died?

Here is how the bible explains Mary's death.

"the body is dead because of sin"......so, that is Mary and everyone else, who was not created inside a Virgin's womb.
So, everyone is going to DIE.
You, Me, and Mary beat us to it.

Mary wouldn't have been "prayed to" because she was still alive while the Bible was being written.

John, Peter, and Paul, Luke, Matthew, were all alive decades after Mary died.

No Aposlte "venerated" Mary.
No Apostle who was alive from 20-50 yrs, prayed to Mary.. .. and Had this been in effect, then those Apostles would have written about it, and then its BIBLE.......but its not IN THE BIBLE.
So, this is "Catholic Religious Baloney", and you ate the sandwich, and so did billions of others.

What did JESUS say?
And WHY did people in ACTS continue with water baptism...if it's so "unimportant"?

Water Baptism, is not important regarding SALVATION..., as its not required FOR Salvation.. as it happens AFTER Salvation.

"water cults"".....' tell you that its a part of Salvation, and is Required.
Its not.

Paul's Gospel, has no water baptism in it.

Jesus TELLS his Apostles (after his resurrection to "Go and BAPTIZE ALL NATIONS, in the name of the Father and the Son...."

Paul came LATER, and was given the GOSPEL by Jesus..., that we are to believe, and teach.

Notice the difference.. here....

"repent and be baptized".......vs.....>>"All who believe in Jesus, shall be saved".

Those are not the same,.....
Realize it and you have begun to free yourself from a WATER CULT.

I guess God will decide...

God already decided.

= John 14:6....... and Water Baptism is not in that verse, and its not in Paul's Gospel. @Mink57 .. and any other "Gospel" is :

Galatians 1:8

Interesting...the ones who protest the Catholic beliefs about Mary...and how we 'worship' her, are also holding on tightly to their KJV Bibles.

Could it be that they're ALSO practicing 'worship' of that book...and NOT the spirit?

So, let look at some of "Mary's Lies".

I'll post 15 for you, as taught by the "cult of mary".

Here is what they teach that : Mary Said, and that that they believe.
-
-

1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.

For children: If you pray the Rosary, God will help you make good choices when you’re not sure what to do.

2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

For children: When you pray the Rosary, Mary promises to make an extra effort to protect you and send you special blessings.

3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell; it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

For children: When you pray the Rosary, it helps you to be good. If you struggle with a certain bad habit, like lying or hitting your siblings, praying the Rosary will help you overcome these habits. Praying the Rosary is like riding around in a tank! You’ll have super strong protection against the devil!

4. The Rosary will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

For children: Praying the Rosary will help you grow in holiness, because it helps you grow in the virtues like love, honesty, wisdom, faithfulness, and courage. Which virtues do you need to grow in? Pray the Rosary! Our Lady will help you!

5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish.

You won’t go to hell = if you pray the Rosary. That doesn’t mean you won’t go to purgatory.

For children: If you trust in Mary by praying the Rosary, she promises you won’t go to hell. (If you are not comfortable telling your child about hell yet, you can say something like “Mary promises to help you get to heaven if you pray the Rosary and trust in her.”)

6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice; he shall not perish by an unprovided death. If he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.

For children: If you make a habit of praying the Rosary, Mary will wrap her mantle around you like a good mother! She will help you when you are sad or having a hard time. What kind of hard times are you having right now? Are you sad about a problem with a friend? Disappointed or angry about something? Mary will make sure it’s not too much for you to handle!

7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

Tthis sacrament also absolves you of any unconfessed sins.

For children: If you make a habit of praying the Rosary, Mary will make sure a priest anoints you with special oil to help you if ever get really sick. This is called the Anointing of the Sick. This sacrament sends you special graces that help you endure your illness and even grow in holiness through it.

8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces. At the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

For children: Mary promises that if you pray the Rosary faithfully, you will have the light of God shining upon you and you will have many rewards in heaven like the saints.

9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

Mary promises to “get us out” of purgatory quickly! She is our greatest Advocate.

For children: Mary promises that if you pray the Rosary, she will help you become pure and holy so that you go to heaven.

10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

Praying the Rosary merits us a higher place in Heaven because we will become more holy.

For children: If you pray the Rosary faithfully, you will sit very close to Jesus and his Mother in Heaven.

11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

Mary is our advocate and she mediates between her Son and us. She will ask Jesus for all that we ask, provided it’s good for our salvation and doesn’t violate God’s perfect will for us.

For children: When you pray the Rosary, you can ask Mary for what you need, and she will talk to her son about it. Jesus loves his mom so much that he pays attention to what she says!

12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

This means that when you tell others about the Rosary, including teaching your children to pray it, Mary will take special care to ensure you have what you need both spiritually and physically.

For children: When you share what you know about the Rosary with other people, Mary loves it! When you do this, she promises that you will have what you need to become more holy. She even promises that you will have enough food, clothing, and a home to live in.

13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

Mary promises that if we encourage others to pray the Rosary, the angels in heaven will be interceding for us not only during our lives, but when we die.

For children: When you encourage other people to pray the Rosary, Mary promises that all the angels in heaven will be praying for you!

14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and daughters, the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.

When we recite the Rosary, we are the children of Mary, and Jesus is our BROTHER.... We are part of the Holy Family.

Children: When you pray the Rosary, Mary treats you like her very own child and Jesus becomes like your big brother. You are part of her own family!

15. Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.
