It is one thing to, for your own self, turn the other cheek when struck.

But, who here would refuse to defend their own family when attacked, you would rescue them speedily if you could.

Even Jesus said
Luke 14:5
Then He answered them, saying, “Which of you, having a donkey or an ox that has fallen into a pit, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?”

Are you sure?
I am MORE than sure, Jack, unlike Mr. Kirk, I don't feel anyone's life is worth losing, because they have a soul, when MLK who this individual spoke vile of was assassinated because he protested NONVIOLENTLY, and preached non-violence, it was announce at an elite restaurant of that time, and the patrons stood and cheered.

So now with this individual being murdered, which was absolutely wrong, BY a MAGA follower, from one of the whitest states in our country, toting a vintage gun, I have to say whether anyone here agrees or not , he may have spoke into existence his fate.

When the climate of our country is calling it's minorities dirt, sending troops into impoverish neighborhoods. arresting haphazardly, and profiling individuals of different ethnicities, deporting some to unfamiliar countries. Real believers see the need for praying, and are praying and God will answer! Keep on worshipping the creation in office, keeping on worshipping guns. Weeping may endure for a night but JOY will come in the morning and as the Word of God states "The last shall be first" Matt. 20:16 and Luke 13:30. Status, achievements, do not determine spiritual standing, God's grace is available to ALL and the humble will be exalted!

Now you so called .......carry on

Charlie Kirk, and this disgusting elevation of him, I wish death on no one, however hate begats hate, and when you preach about a false god given right to own guns, you speak into existence a curse on yourself. Yes we have a RIGHT to own a weapon, however leave our God out of it. As Jesus convicted the hearts of the stone throwers on the woman caught in adultery, why are hearts not convicted of gun owners, with an itching finger to kill another human being. Our world is in a sad state, and that should not be surprise to us we were warned that in the last days nations (people) would be against nations. True Christians stay in prayer!
You're sounding rather hateful Always.
How ironic.
Sounds like you're part of the problem.

Charlie said nothing hateful.
But YOU are condoning his murder AND that of everyone that agrees with him....if it were possible.

Apparently those that believe as I do DESERVE to be killed because of our moral values...

By those such as Charlie's killer,,,
Who have none.

Charlie Kirk did not preach hate. Only a woke LGBT+ supporting far leftist would be deluded enough to claim that. You want to talk about hate? Read the bible if you want to see what God hates. I would point out the false witness speaking lies...because that is what you are doing.

Pr 6:16-19
These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

False Christians live by feelings and opinions, true Christians live by the truths of Scripture. The Bible does not make us defenseless pacifists. Exodus 22 gives us the right to defend our home and our lives. Jesus Himself did not tell His disciples to put down their swords (Luke 22:36). We are to love justice and walk with mercy and hate sinful violence, but we are never told to live like we’re defenseless cattle waiting for the predators to come. God made us to defend the weak and the vulnerable, our families, our neighbors, the innocent.

To protect life when it is threatened is not an ungodly thing to do, it is honoring the truth that human life is sacred (Genesis 9:6). The government is given the sword to punish evil (Romans 13: 4), but not to disarm the citizens from the ability to protect themselves.

And as for Charlie Kirk, you are wrong about him. He stood boldly for the truth. He defended biblical values. He was not ashamed to tell people that Jesus Christ is Lord. That is not hate speech; that is courage and faith in action. To tear down a man who publicly honored God says far more about your heart than his.

Defending these rights isn’t because we want more violence or because we want to elevate some man above Christ. It’s because we stand on a biblical principle: the principle that life is precious; that God calls us to protect the weak; and that His people live by His Word, not by the shifting opinions of culture. Charlie Kirk understood that. And for that reason, he deserves respect, not slander. You should repent.

Key phrase There is a right and there is a wrong, hate begats hate, Mr. Kirk spoke a curse on himself
“There is a right and there is a wrong”, and you are wrong about Charlie Kirk. Hate does beget hate, but what Mr. Kirk did was not hate, it was courage. He stood on the truth of God’s Word, spoke boldly for life, family, and faith, and defended the right to protect the innocent. That is not a curse, that is obedience. Scripture says, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). You better take that to heart.

The Bible itself permits self-defense (Exodus 22:2, Luke 22:36). Protecting life when it is threatened is not ungodly, it is honoring the truth that human life is sacred (Genesis 9:6). Government is commanded to punish evil, not disarm the innocent (Romans 13:4). True Christians don’t live by opinions; we live by God’s Word.

Charlie Kirk was a godly man who spoke truth in a dark world. To say he “spoke a curse on himself” is false. He proclaimed Christ, defended biblical values, and called people to live by righteousness. That is not a curse, it is a blessing.

Charlie stating that it was a good thing to have some deaths by guns
You’re wrong again about what Charlie Kirk said. He didn’t say that it’s a “good thing” to have gun deaths. Listen to the video. He said that we’ll never get gun deaths to zero in this fallen world and that the Second Amendment is worth preserving even though people will tragically misuse guns. That’s not the same as celebrating death, it’s just acknowledging reality and maybe you should wake up to reality.

That’s no different than saying cars cause accidents, but we still drive because the freedom and function are worth the risk. Nobody says car deaths are “good.” In the same way, Charlie wasn’t saying gun deaths are good, he was saying freedom is valuable even though sin is in the world.

So let’s just be honest: twisting his words into “he thinks deaths are good” is slander, not truth. Charlie Kirk stood for God-given rights and the protection of innocent life. To misrepresent him that way is bearing false witness (Exodus 20:16).

“The Elephant in the Room” is your echoing the left’s lies and perpetuating the same hate they peddle. All you’re really proving is just how indoctrinated you’ve become.

The left brazenly promotes everything God condemns: advocating for the murder of unborn children (Exodus 20:13), redefining gender and marriage (Genesis 1:27; Romans 1:26–27), placing men in women’s sports and labeling it equality (1 Corinthians 14:33), corrupting kids with perversion, silencing Christians (Acts 5:29), and glorifying sin rather than calling sinners to repent (Isaiah 5:20; Luke 13:3).

If you claim to follow Jesus but still defend a platform that mocks His Word, you’ve got a serious problem. You cannot serve both God and rebellion.

In Luke , Jesus told the disciples to "sell their cloak and buy one" in reference to buying a sword during the Last Supper. While the disciples took this literally and produced two swords. Jesus told them this in symbolism, of his impending arrest and fulfillment of the prophecy, that he would be "numbered with transgressors", The swords were symbolic rather than literal weapons to be used as violence, that was not in our Lord's character, as seen when Jesus stopped Peter from using his sword and stated PUT YOUR SWORD BACK IN IT'S PLACE
You’re misreading what the bible says. Jesus did not say “go out and buy a sword” just for symbolism. Luke 22: 36 was pretty clear: “he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.” That is a command. It is not a parable. The disciples presented two swords and Jesus said, “It is enough” (Luke 22:38). Literally. Not symbolically.

Yes, when Peter struck the servant in the garden, He told him “Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword” (Matthew 26:52). Not a command against the ownership of a sword. It was a rebuke against using it in that moment to stop His arrest, because it was God’s plan for Jesus to be crucified (John 18:11).

Scripture does not contradict itself. Jesus allowed His disciples to be armed and even taught them to buy swords. He also rebuked them and told them to “all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” The lesson here is to use balance: we are not to seek vengeance or take up arms against God’s kingdom, but there is a place for weapons for protection.

For sure. "But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel” 1 Timothy 5:8.

The scripture is about providing for your family, meeting their needs, protecting, and caring for them. Provision means more than just food and shelter but includes protection from harm. The passage plainly states a man who will not take responsibility for his household is worse than an unbeliever.

Where do you get your thoughts from, it is sure not the bible. To say Charlie Kirk “spoke his fate into existence” is superstition, not Scripture. The Bible never teaches that by standing for truth you place a curse on yourself and your loved ones. If you apply that logic, then the prophets, apostles and even Jesus Himself must have all been wrong since they were all martyred for their message, and yet He said plainly, “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you” (John 15:18). You are confusing self-defense with hate. Martin Luther King Jr. taught nonviolence, but that does not mean that anyone who would stand in defense of the innocent and the unborn is hateful. The Bible itself allows for the defense of life and home (Exodus 22:2, Luke 22:36, Nehemiah 4:17–18). You are slandering Christians by calling us “gun worshippers” or political worshippers. It is not idolatry to defend the God given right to life and the God-given right to the means by which we can defend it. Worship belongs to God alone. Lastly, your application of Scripture is grossly wrong. When Jesus said “the last shall be first” (Matthew 20: 16, Luke 13:30), He was speaking of salvation and humble submission to God in this life, not taking a Bible verse and using it as a bludgeon to beat down those who love God and stand for truth. Pulling verses out of context to justify your own opinions does not make them biblical truth. The bottom line is this: Charlie Kirk was not preaching hate, he was boldly standing for life, truth and freedom, and your misrepresentation of his words only demonstrates how far off the mark your own thinking really is.

Exactly. For Jesus said, “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear” (Matt 11:15). Everyone will not hear but we should not muffle the truth for that reason. Paul commanded Timothy to “preach the word; be instant in season, out of season” (2 Tim 4:2). Some will believe, some will mock and pervert it, but we must still speak the Word of God. Truth is not true because it finds an audience but because God has spoken it.

I think what happened to charlie PROVES we need to own guns, We have to protect ourselves and our families from people who would do us harm.

No one is elevating charlie any more than th eleft elevated a drug addict who killed himself and blamed it on a few white cops
