Do you think I should give up my quest to win my daughter's heart? Because sometimes I have my doubts about how much she wanted to know my side of the story, thinking I should let go completely and find a cave to live in until I die.

I don`t know about your situation there but go with your heart to try and put your side of the story when you are able to. Now you could go for the cave or try and find out more in this life. Your choice.

Sorry to hear that. But time moves on and people do change. Be patient, look for a better day. Getting encouragement here with others is a good step forward.

I have just been talking with my hubby, and he said that what we listen to and look at affects our thinking (& thus behavior). So, look for better things to listen to that encourage you.
