So then Christs death in and of itself does not perfect the ones He died for. Is that what you believe ?No; not even when they are in unbelief.
We have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand (Romans 5:2).

It is only applied to those who believe in Him. This is the basic message of John 3:16 and the whole entire Bible. So then Christs death in and of itself does not perfect the ones He died for. Is that what you believe ?
Justified by Faith is for the good of the justified one, Faith gives them a spiritual knowledge and assurance in regards to their Justification ! Heb 11:1Justification by works is for our good, so we can know we are really prepared for the judgment. God doesn't tell us to be justified by works for his sake, lol.
So then, Christs blood in and of itself does not apply salvation, but mans act of faith or believing . Is that what you are saying ? I just want to be sure.It is only applied to those who believe in Him. This is the basic message of John 3:16 and the whole entire Bible.
We appropriate the blood of Jesus by and through faith. So then, Christs blood in and of itself does not apply salvation, but mans act of faith or believing . Is that what you are saying ? I just want to be sure.
That's what I'm saying. We appropriate the blood of Jesus by and through faith.
Abiding requires abiding of some kind.
Embarrassment ? I am not the one usurping the position of Jesus - You on the other than think it is you who gets to pick and choose who makes it through the pearly gates .. think that you have a free pass ... "Do not Pass Judgement" card ... but the path you are on - may not be through the pearly gates my friend.
Not all who call Lord Lord will make it through the Pearly Gates Thar Matey - but only the one who does the "Will of the Father"
Thus sayeth the Lord - but, you want to follow the foolish doctrines of men - "Sola Fide" - introduced to the dogma section of Christianity around the 14th century by Martin Luther - who then became your new Prophet . whom you follow.
So I thought to myself - perhaps this is something I should check out this new Prophet and I found out that he has some writings that perhaps should be entered into the Protestant Canon.
The Gospel of this new Prophet of yours is quite something ... a small excerpt is below:
"....Jewish synagogues and schools be set on fire, their prayer books destroyed, books destroyed, rabbis forbidden to preach, homes burned, and property and money confiscated. They should be shown no mercy or kindness,[2] afforded no legal protection,[3] and "these poisonous envenomed worms" should be drafted into forced labor or expelled for all time.[4] "We are at fault in not slaying them".
The Chapter of this Gospel is called "On the Jews and their Lies" - On the Jews and Their Lies - Wikipedia
All Scripture is God Breathed - right ? :)
What is grace?
That's what I'm saying.
So then, Christs blood in and of itself does not apply salvation, but mans act of faith or believing . Is that what you are saying ? I just want to be sure.
The Bible says that if we believe Jesus is the Son Of God, you are “ abiding in Him”...... please Study your Bible ....at least get the basics right....
Faith appropriates the blood; which in and of itself applies salvation to us when we appropriate it to our lives by faith.
No; faith in Jesus isn't works.Jbf
So I must conclude that you don't believe the blood of Christ in and of itself applies salvation to those it was shed for. You believe instead that man's act of faith or believing does. That's salvation by works, by what man does. Believing is a act of man which is a work.
When you make believing a condition of the application of justification/salvation then you make it a work. No; faith in Jesus isn't works.
Just look at Ephesians 2:8-9.
Eph 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9, Not of works, lest any man should boast.
If faith is a work, then in being saved by grace through faith I would be saved by works; and such an idea is contrary to what we find in the above passage of holy scripture. For I am saved by grace through faith; but I am not saved by works. If faith is a work then I am saved by faith as a work and therefore am saved by works; but verse 9 denies that such a concept can even be the reality.
So, you say, what of John 6:28-29?
Jesus is saying, in effect, So, you want to insist that you are saved by works? Well, if that is the case, then I will change it up on you and say that faith is a work and that it is the only work that will save you.
But that faith is not normally a work is evident in Ephesians 2:8-9 in what I have already said about it.
Therefore, in John 6:28-29, Jesus is basically using a literary tactic in order to deal with people who are unreasonable in their insistence that they will be saved by their works.
He brings it down to the nitty-gritty and shows that simple faith (in the One whom the Lord hath sent) is the only means of salvation.
Romans 4:5When you make believing a condition of the application of justification/salvation then you make it a work.
The point is, just saying you believe isn't good enough to know you are justified in Christ and ready for the judgment. The Bible tells us our works show us if we're justified in Christ and ready for the judgment. The church has soundly rejected this teaching in the Bible. It's to the point now they can't even see it. Their eyes and their minds just glaze right over it.Your point?
Yeah thats fine as long as you understand that believing there is the fruit of the Spirit. Its when people make believing a product from the mind of the natural man, to make it a condition to Justification, that it becomes a work salvation issue !Romans 4:5
to the one who does not work, but believes
No, the obedience of loving others is what gives you assurance in regards to your justification and that you are ready for the judgment.Justified by Faith is for the good of the justified one, Faith gives them a spiritual knowledge and assurance in regards to their Justification ! Heb 11:1
Believing is a choice.Yeah thats fine as long as you understand that believing there is the fruit of the Spirit. Its when people make believing a product from the mind of the natural man, to make it a condition to Justification, that it becomes a work salvation issue !
