In the Church’s traditional theological language, in the act of consecration during the Eucharist the “substance” of the bread and wine is changed by the power of the Holy Spirit into the “substance” of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. At the same time, the “accidents” or appearances of bread and wine remain.

According to Catholic faith, we can speak of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist because this transubstantiation has occurred (cf. Catechism, no. 1376). This is a great mystery of our faith—we can only know it from Christ’s teaching given us in the Scriptures and in the Tradition of the Church.

Sometimes the accidents change while the substance remains the same. For example, when a child reaches adulthood, the characteristics of the human person change in many ways, but the adult remains the same person—the same substance. At other times, the substance and the accidents both change. For example, when a person eats an apple, the apple is incorporated into the body of that person—is changed into the body of that person. When this change of substance occurs, however, the accidents or characteristics of the apple do not remain. As the apple is changed into the body of the person, it takes on the accidents or characteristics of the body of that person. Christ’s presence in the Eucharist is unique in that, even though the consecrated bread and wine truly are in substance the Body and Blood of Christ, they have none of the accidents or characteristics of a human body, but only those of bread and wine.

When the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ, why do they still look and taste like bread and wine? – Saint Margaret of Antioch Parish

I said, that's fine. I don't see anything wrong in your beliefs. In fact, I admire them.

Mean statements without any scriptural rebuttal hold no weight. Come on now. Put scripture where your mouth is.

Already have- you just waved them off without comment!

But here are a few more.

You have directly said that anyone who commits any sin is not saved!

Based on That statement I can conclude that you believe the following:

1. Jesus did not die for all sins, I would guess based on you r comments, only sins before you asked Him to save you!
2. Gods love is conditional and not an agape love.
3. When God gives eternal life to an individual, it is not really eternal but conditioned on perfection.
4. His Mercy ends the moment you got saved. After that if you mess up, you lose your salvation.

these are unbiblical and antichrist!

But if you wish to know the mercies of God:

1 John 1:8-10
King James Version

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

NOW LEARN WHAT JOHN ACTUALLY WROTE IN GREEK

1 John 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

GOD DISAGREES WITH YOU THAT YOU LOSE YOUR SALVATION.

Romans 5
King James Version

5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

2 Peter 1:1
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

Philippians 3:9
King James Version

9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Ephesians 2:8-10
King James Version

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Works do not keep us saved, nor doies sin cause us to lose our salvation. Why?

Colossians 3:2-4
King James Version

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

ROMANS 8:

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

But you say , God who is omniscient and all powerful will give eternal life only knowing He has to take it away!
But:
Romans 14:4
King James Version

4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Jude 1:24
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

We are faultless because Jesus is our righteousness!

I hope you will repent of this false doctrine you are seeking to promulgate. If not There is no point in any further discussion with. You have much bigger problems than disagreeing with the word of God and me.

Hi Ron,

This isn't actually what @CharismaticLady teaches, rather, that you won't 'knowingly' commit any sin. That you might commit unintentional sins, and be ignorant of those sins, but if you forgive others their sins, these unintentional sins will be forgiven, otherwise they won't be.

Much love!

I think there is a real underappreciation of the righteousness of God given to us in Christ.

SAME RESULT- YOU LOSE YOUR SALVATION IF YOU DON'T FORGVE SOMEONE! SO NOW SALVATION FOR HER IS NOT BASED ON THE BLOOD OF JESUS WHICH REMOVES SINS, BUT ON YOU DOING A WORK (FORGIVNG OTHERS)

The bible makes no distinction between intentional and unintentional sinning! It is not the actions but the fact our very flesh (human nature) is at emnity with God, that is why we are declared dead, made a new creature in Christ who is being conformed to the image of Jesus and our life is hidden with Christ! She has declared herself sinless and fully sanctifies- so according to the Word of God she is already conformed to the image of Jesus!

This is not just a small disagreement but a direct assault on the very Word of God!

3. When God gives eternal life to an individual, it is not really eternal but conditioned on perfection.

Although it may indeed be conditioned on perfection, yet it is eternal:

Heb 10:14, For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

This particular passage of scripture is often used by unbelieving sinners to justify a lifestyle of sinning.

They misinterpret it to be saying "If we say that we don't sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

But take a closer look at what it really says:

1Jo 1:8, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

It is talking about indwelling sin rather than practical sin.

For there is scripture in the context that talks about practical sin in such a manner that if 1 John 1:8 were speaking of practical sin, the scriptures would be in contradiction to one another.

Fact is, we all have indwelling sin; but indwelling sin can be rendered dead (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has any say over my behaviour (Romans 6:14).

The following scriptures speak of the fact that when we repent of our sins, we can indeed walk in freedom (John 8:31-36) and victory (1 Corinthians 15:57) over sin:

1Jo 3:9, Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1Jo 3:6, Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

1Jo 2:17, And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
.
.
.
Jde 1:24, Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

2Pe 1:10, Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

1Jo 2:10, He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
.
.
.
1Jo 3:7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1Jo 3:3, And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1Jo 2:6, He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
.
.
.
1Th 5:23, And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 5:24, Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Heb 10:14, For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Col 2:11 (nlt), When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision—the cutting away of your sinful nature.

I do of course agree with you, if salvation is won or lost because of something you do or don't do, aside from our reliance on Jesus Christ, then we will have ourselves to thank.

Personally, I think that whether we see sin in ourselves has more to do with our eyes then our selves.

And . . . how long can you remain in unforgiveness, before you forgive, and it not be sin? Personally, I think taking wrongful offense at something is not of faith.

Much love!

I think that the reality is that because salvation is based on whether we have faith in Jesus Christ, if we don't place our faith in Him and end up in hell, we have only ourselves to blame.

Jesus was teaching those under the Law. We are not under the Law.

Now God says to us, forgiving others, as God has forgiven you. Rather than God's forgiveness for you being contingent on you forgiving others, now, God has already forgiven us, and we are to forgive others because we have already been forgiven.

The First Covenant was that those who keep the works will live in the covenant. The New Covenant is that those who live in the covenant will keep the works.

I know that is what you believe - but Jesus came to teach the New Covenant, not repeat the Old.

If you don't keep it in context you will walk away with the wrong idea.

Much love!

I do. Only when arguing with the Pharisees did he explain the Old Laws to them. But teaching to those who came to listen, He taught His ways, the New Covenant. And when the New Covenant came on the Day of Pentecost, He empowered them to keep His deeper laws.

Notice His forgiveness lies with those walking in His Spirit, not with those who have chosen bitterness, wrath, anger and evil speaking.

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?
