I don't see that such people were ever truly born again ...
Who cares what you see?
You should care about what Scripture says!
The "such people" you say were never born again are defined as:
"EVERY BRANCH OF MINE" (John 15:2)

The title of the thread says those who fail to remain in Christ......
so to no longer be in Christ is to flat out deny Him....
to rebuke Him.....to recant your belief in Him....to refuse His truths.....
IMO, those dressed in red (above) also include ...
BACs who are involved in habitual (unrepentant) sin.

I.E. They are no longer in a state of righteousness.
I.E. They are no longer seen as being righteous by Father God.

Now, this condition may (and can) be rectified through sincere repentance!
