No. Since you are new here, you do not realize I normally tell people to consult their favorite lexicon when word meaning questions come up.

Jesus was tortured to death for blasphemy and said blaspheming him would be forgiven. Doesn't that tell you on this point the degree of separation between Jesus and the Holy Spirit is total?
    • Yes, OK to blaspheme Jesus.
    • No, NOK to blaspheme HS.

    Matthew 12
22 Then a demon-possessed man, who was blind and couldn’t speak, was brought to Jesus. He healed the man so that he could both speak and see. 23 The crowd was amazed and asked, “Could it be that Jesus is the Son of David, the Messiah?”
24 But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.”
25 Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart. 26 And if Satan is casting out Satan, he is divided and fighting against himself. His own kingdom will not survive. 27 And if I am empowered by Satan, what about your own exorcists? They cast out demons, too, so they will condemn you for what you have said. 28 But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you. 29 For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like Satan and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.
30 “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.
31 “So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.
33 “A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad. 34 You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say. 35 A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. 36 And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. 37 The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”
    From the context …
    1. They saw what Jesus did (miracles of God)
    2. “bad people” ascribed the work of God to the power of Satan
    3. Jesus issued what is the strongest warning he is ever recorded as speaking: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN … ever!
… it seems like what they were doing (rejecting the work of the Holy Spirit as the work of Satan) is what Jesus was warning them would not be forgiven. As a practical matter, any heart so hard that it rejects the work of the Holy Spirit to lead us to Christ … is probably not a heart heading towards repentance anyway (who would lead a man if the Holy Spirit can’t move them?)

    explain these verses?
    Romans 2:23-24 (NKJV)
You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law?
For "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," as it is written.

Exodus 20:7 (NKJV) "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

Isaiah 52:5-6 (NKJV) Now, therefore, what have I here," says the LORD, "That My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them Make them wail," says the LORD, "And My name is blasphemed continually every day.
Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I am He who speaks: 'Behold, it is I.' "

Revelation 22:18-19 (NKJV) For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Common trinitarian tactic to not answer questions.

By only asking questions you may presume it bestows automatic validity to your position but it actually reveals a lack of intellectual honesty. Said differently, daring to ask you yet another question; why should I answer your questions when you do not answer my questions?

Rev 1:1 God gave a revelation to the resurrected Jesus who was given all authority in heaven and Earth. Jesus ≠ God.

    I compare Revelation 1:1 to Romans 16: 25-27 Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began. But now is made manifest and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith;

The incident that led to Jesus’ statement concerning the unpardonableness of sinning against the holy spirit demonstrates that it refers to opposing the operation of God’s spirit, not because of deception, human weakness or imperfection, but doing so knowingly, willfully and deliberately. The Pharisees for example, clearly saw God’s spirit at work in Jesus to accomplish good, yet for selfish reasons they attributed this power to Beelzebub, Satan the Devil, thereby blaspheming God’s holy spirit....working in opposition to it.

Judas participated in acts of holy spirit done in Jesus' name but then betrayed his master for 30 pieces of silver.....he too blasphemed the holy spirit....also working against it.

Since this was directed to those who were Jews in name only, their conduct was not in accord with God's law so their deeds were bringing reproach on the name of their God even among the Gentiles.

Taking God's name in vain was to take it up in a worthless way....e.g. to make solemn oaths in God's name and then fail to honor them. God's name was to be "hallowed"...sanctified...treated as holy, so not to be treated lightly or without due reverence.

For seventy years Israel was held captive in Babylon,......they had to endure much disrespect, which naturally brought contempt on them by their captors. They heard God's name defamed, abused, blasphemed, taken up in a worthless way, but Jehovah would not let this go on forever. He has too much respect for his own name and his position as Universal Sovereign to allow enemies to gloat for too long. He guaranteed that he would vindicate his name and put it in its proper sanctified place before all the nations, for, as he says, “I am the One that is speaking. Look! It is I.”

It's so funny and predictable that you keep asking questions as if you have no burden to answer mine.

For your convenience, my question re-posted:

    I eagerly await your answer.

    Thank you! :)

While @OneIsTheWord wanted me to elaborate, I do believe LESS IS MORE in this case. He has an agenda and my answer did not give him the fodder he hoped to advance his agenda.

I know this because he did not accept my answer. NOTE: Post above showing his refusal to answer my question but continues to ask questions. That is not a conversation. That is not a debate. He wants elaboration without revealing his hand. That is, where is he coming from that he needs elaboration? My question revealed that, which tells me he is not asking for information purposes.

It means to reject the indisputable testimony of the Holy Spirit in deliberate unbelief. John says that's akin to calling the Holy Spirit a liar. Attributing His witness to that of a lying spirit. Ouch!
