Judged according to those alive in the flesh, but live according to God "in the spirit"; which means what? What is being compared there? Those living in the flesh vs. those dead living according to God in the spirit.

Ecclesiastes 12 tells us at flesh death our spirit goes back to God Who gave it, and our flesh goes back to the earth where it came from. So what kind of body did those spirits in prison have which Jesus was able to preach The Gospel to? They had a spirit body, which is the image of the heavenly, a body like the angels have.

It was prophecy in Isaiah 42:7 that Jesus would preach The Gospel to those in darkness in the prison house in hell, and lead out those who believed on Him:

That statement of yours is totally nonsensical. You have been manufacturing your own theology, and this is just more evidence.

It is not "dead flesh in a casket" but actual dust in the ground that is reconstituted at the resurrection of the saints. As for the resurrection of Christ, that same body that was crucified and lay in the tomb was the one that was resurrected. Hence Thomas was asked to see the wounds in that body and touch them. And if you deny this then you make Christ a liar.

Correct. The resurrection of Christ in His actual body is a key teaching of the Gospel. The Gnostics tried to play around with this, while the Jews promoted a fable about the resurrection.

Jesus does not come back in the flesh in the second coming and the Bible point's this fact out.
So if you see one in the flesh claiming to be so don't believe it.

I think you're concentrating on God's consuming fire event of 2 Pet.3 too much. That event is going to end this flesh world, and destroy 'certain' ones, like the 7,000 of Rev.11, but the rest of us still alive on earth, it will simply reveal our "spiritual body" on earth, casting off our flesh. So even the unbelieving Jews and unbelieving nations will still... be here on earth on that day when Jesus returns.

Most don't even no who the 7000 are.

Like I said, that idea is the 'dead in the ground' tradition from traditional Jewish thinking.

There's no argument that Christ's flesh body was transfigured to the resurrection body, because a flesh body like ours cannot do what His resurrected body did when He appeared to His Apostles out of nowhere. He appeared and disappeared right in the midst of their presence. So you can keep trying to use the fact that His resurrection felt and looked like flesh and bones to His disciples, but the reality of what The Gospel shows is that His resurrected body was transfigured to that other dimension while keeping the marks of His crucifixion.

If one opens up a casket of a dead person today, one will find decayed flesh and bones. And in the case of a soldier that died in battle and was blown up, their flesh body is dissolved like Paul pointed to in 2 Cor.5. And Paul said what is inside us groans to be clothed with our "house" not made with hands, but eternal in the heavens, and that's not a new flesh body.
