You have the antichrist description and purpose all wrong according to the bible. Below are the only four biblical verses that mention the term antichrist
And so, let's look at what antichrists are
in their ministry.
Remembering first of all, that they are
seducers and deceivers of Christians, that do believe Jesus Christ is come
a man on earth, and is the Christ, Lord, Son of God,
and God.
Jews and Islamists saying
"No, he is not", deceives no honest Christian.
Judaizing Christians however were certain antichrists destroying the faith of some.
John explains that the antichrist is more than one, a spirit and was all ready in the world in his days.
True. Of which Judaizing of Christians is only one antichrist teaching. There are many such antichrists, teaching their own heresies, that only serve to corrupt the churches of God
from within the body of Christ.
Antichrists are not foreign leaders of man's religions. Antichrists are called false apostles of Christ:
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
Jesus called them false christs. Peter calls them false Christian teachers, even as their were false Jewish prophets of old.
An antichrist is not a leader of foreign religions of man. Nor is he a national and world leader among men.
John also tells us that it’s purpose is to deceive people to deny that Jesus is the Christ and sent from God.
True, and so let's look at the deceptive nature of their
Christian ministries with false gospels.
1 John 2:18
18 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
First, they went out from among the apostles,
to preach their own gospels. They were not proselytizers of other religions, such as the Jews religion, nor pagan Mithra, etc... which was very popular among Imperial Roman legions, to rival the old Roman state religion itself.
Antichrists go out
from the apostles' doctrine of Christ, to teach their own doctrine, and gather followers to themselves, as christs themselves.
1 John 2:22
22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.
I.e. antichrists deny that Jesus is the
Christ, by preaching a created
christ. They deny the Son is to be honored as the Father: as God.
They say the Word was a god, and Jesus was a created man like any other man on earth.
And so, created christology, is another antichrist teaching added to Judaizing.
2 John 1:7
I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is specific teaching that the man Christ Jesus, was
a man born with natural flesh and blood on earth, like any other man.
He was not the Christ Spirit, only appearing as a man in a body for a season, and not actually the Word made flesh.
And so Arianism is added to the antichrist heresies.
In Johns day it was a perfect description of a spirit behind apostate Israel
Neither in John's day nor today nor tomorrow, will they have anything to do with preaching the Jews religion, and say Christianity is a false religious sect.
John says plainly, that antichrists are false apostles gone out into the world, who deny Jesus as Christ, and is come in the flesh,
by seductive doctrinal means.
That is the spiritual warfare of every antichrist beast, that has come into the world, ever since Jesus Christ is come on earth, and preached His gospel of the cross.
They simply depart from the apostles' doctrine of Christ, to teach their own gospel, and seduce Christians into becoming followers of themselves, as christs themselves.
They usurp the Headship of Christians from Jesus to themselves, sitting in their own pulpits as Christ and God Himself.
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
No temple of God is anymore made with hands of men, especially not hands of another religion.
An antichrist beast sits on his very own pulpit throne, in the temple and body and church of Christ.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
The last great beast, before Jesus' second appearing on earth, will do much to destroy and overthrow the faith of many Christians, while also converting rulers to his own gospel of another christ, which is himself.
